Leo stood up and approached Dia as his smile vanished, "What do you have for me?"

Dia kneeled as she answered, "We have searched and found a great Krayt Dragon, the location is 5 hours away from here if we go with a speeder. The Hutt high council will come to meet Jabba in a few days, he seemed to have pulled some strings. The planet is completely under our control. What is your order?"

Leo smiled as he crouched beside her and lifted her face with his hand, he said as he locked eyes with her, "You have done well. I have other tasks for you... we should also find this dragon and kill it but before that, I finally have your reward."

He walked away abruptly and the same red mist ball flowed to his hand out of the insect corpses on the ground, "I experimented a bit and found some success, you are not Force-sensitive so it is impossible for you to become like me, or rather it was impossible for you before now... I can grant you what you seek since you have proven yourself competent by taking control of the planet and loyal by serving me for 3 years. Despite the failures... I understand that failure is the stepping stone to success so I am willing to look past that. Are you willing to become my apprentice? Keep in mind that with power comes greater chains ensuring your everlasting loyalty... I have no such thing as trust."

Dia felt excited and relieved, she felt she would be a step closer to everything now, especially her sister; So she simply nodded, still kneeling. "I am honored..."

Leo interrupted her, "I am not finished talking... The process of giving you power will be excruciatingly painful as expressed by the poor insects on the ground. It is your choice."

Dia said without hesitation, "I accept. I have come too far to back down..."

Leo smiled, "Good. Then let me transfer this power..."

The ball of red glowing mist was lifeforce and Midichlorians extracted from more than 40 beings; Leo had not absorbed it. It began flowing toward Dia and entered her body through her skin, mouth, and eyes.

She screamed in pain and struggled as the process continued... Leo used telekinesis to lift her up so she wouldn't damage the ship.

Devouring was Leo's unique power so bestowing the same to others was like the reverse of Force Drain which would make the body feel as if it was being filled with fire and create a burning feeling as if fire coursed through the veins. For Leo, it was pleasant and addictive because the ability was perfectly synced with his body but for Dia, it was not.

Leo also manipulated part of the mist to enhance the Force Seed within her, it grew roots and became a permanent part of Dia. Dia couldn't feel it or interact with it but it was there and it was inseparable, Her life was firmly linked to Leo and it was in the palm of his hand. No future Sith under such an inescapable deal would be able to betray him.

A minute later as Dia's scream turned hoarse, the process was finished and no mist was left. He let her fall on the ground casually as he asked with interest, "Do you feel different?"

Dia struggled to get up as her body was sore and phantom pains still assaulted her mind, she answered with difficulty, "I... Feel... Strange. As if there is a field around me that I couldn't sense before... Its... difficult to explain..."

Leo nodded, "I see... I will teach you how to tap into the dark side and use that power to serve me and achieve your own goals... for now, you should rest. I have to check something, go back to Mos Espa."

He basically kicked her out of Calamity and flew away from the planet. He went to a trading planet and bought something, not really paying since he cheated by using the Force and getting it for free.

As he returned to Tatooine, he was in deep thought staring into space and eating something, R2-S69 flying the spaceship.

'My Midichlorian Count is 15,000... I wonder how strong I can get before some sort of problem arises. I feel as if it would be impossible for me to just grow stronger with Devour unless I start devouring Jedi...'

He reached Tatooine and called Dia. "Come to my ship, are you feeling better to begin your training?" He knew that training in a bad condition was pointless.

"My body still hurts... but I think we can begin." She said from behind the communicator.

She arrived and he commanded, "Give me a drop of blood." She gave it to him in confusion. "Why?"

He ignored her as he said, "We will begin your training after I hunt my dragon. Don't interrupt me."

He tested her as well, Her Midichlorian count was 11,000.

He frowned and asked her, "Are there any prisoners or anything like that? Bring them here, we are going to hunt the dragon soon."

Dia nodded and left only to return a few hours later with 4 people that were bound. He didn't even acknowledge them as he Devoured them with his ability. A while passed as he absorbed the resulting red mist.

He took another drop of his blood and checked his Midichlorian count again... It was 15,190. He had Dia leave and prepare the stuff needed to go hunt the dragon as he fell in deep thought.

He began calculating some things. 'I must have had an M-count of below 10,000 in the beginning...'

'It seems the more I devour people, the less effective it is becoming. It makes sense, to grow stronger from a certain point, I need to devour strong beings... Based on this test 4 people gave me 190 but it was not equal parts. I think it was like this, 49, 48, 47, 46. so 10 is missing from 200. If so, after I devour 46 more people, I won't grow stronger.'

'I felt the bugs barely giving me any power anymore so the reason was this. In time, sentient beings will also stop so I have to look for a better source...'

'Only 2 come to mind... The Jedi or Planets... I can't devour planets since I couldn't devour Nihilus, too big for my ability at the moment. But how can I devour the Jedi? It will raise a lot of alarms...'

He pondered for a few minutes and walked around in the spaceship, thinking of various plans... Suddenly he smirked as his eyes lit up.

'I see... I need to infiltrate the Republic and get close to Sidious, I can then alter Order 66 to suit my needs and eliminate Sidious at the same time... It would be a pity for all the Jedi to die when they can become stepping stones for me... I need a solid plan though, how can I get close to Sidious... Someone needs to also make the empire here expand. I need to be at both places when the clone wars hit... how can I do that? That is the million-dollar question; how to be in 2 places across the galaxy at once. It is pointless to worry at the moment; must make my lightsaber first.'

Just as his thoughts came to an end, Dia returned and kneeled, "A speeder with bombs as you requested is waiting outside. Shall we go?"

Leo nodded as he stood up and picked up the 2 lightsabers he had been given by Nihilus and a bag filled with unknown things, "Yes, let's hunt this big dragon you speak of... It is time I make my lightsaber."
