The Treason (1)

The King of Zion, Andrew, slept peacefully for nearly three hours after the death of all the corrupted ministers and court members, however, he was yet to find out what the future held for him.

"Ugh..." Andrew groaned lightly and with slight struggle, he sat up on the bed with a tired and done with the world face.

Andrew stared at the wall in front of him and then looked down at his body "Oh-" That was what left his mouth after he saw his body.

Since Andrew had a great boost in his physical capability and defense he had noticeable muscle growth. He was a lot taller than he was before, nearly 6'2, and instead of four-pack abs, he had six-pack abs.

The robe Andrew was wearing since the court was no longer loose. It fitted his new big body perfectly although it was a little short on the downside because of the increase in height.

Andrew smiled lightly and looked quite proud of his new body but his proud time was disturbed by the disgusting smell that got into his nose from his right.

Andrew quickly covered his nose and looked to his right to see what was smelling come from and the smile belonged to the... waste he threw up earlier in the form of vomit.

Andrew made a disgusted look and quickly got off the bed by crawling to the other side. After getting off the bed he started to speed walk out of the room to avoid the smell.

Once Andrew was out of the room he quickly used his free hand to close the door and put his hand away from his nose "Maids!" He called the maids as he finally took some fresh air.

Andrew took some deep breaths and waited for maids or at least some guards to arrive but no one came even after half a minute.

Andrew squinted his eyes and looked carefully through the hallways "Did my senses also get stronger?" He asked himself.

Andrew's mental capability and defense also got stronger because of the increase in the stats thus making his senses stronger. All of his senses got stronger including five primary senses, a sixth sense, and other forms of senses such as battle instincts.

"Amazing." Andrew looked at his hand and then squeezed them forming a fist "This feels amazing." Andrew smiled even more broadly and excitedly.

"Anyways," Andrew sighed and controlled his excitement before looking to his right with a calm face "Where the hell are maids? Shouldn't it be their job to clean my room?"

Andrew stood straight at his position for a couple of seconds before he started to walk hesitantly. The reason for hesitation was simple; he felt like he might get lost again.

"Guards! Maids!" Andrew yelled loudly and walked randomly through the hallways hoping to find someone but even after walking for more than five minutes, he was yet to encounter any form of life.

"Where the hell are these people!?" Andrew said frustratedly, "What the hell is going on!?" The moment after Andrew asked himself those questions a panel appeared before his eyes.

Andrew read the panel with a straight face and even after closing the panel, he continued to have an expressionless face.

Without saying anything Andrew looked at the window next to him. He walked over to the closed window and opened it before taking a deep breath and looking down at the ground.

"Nope," Andrew said instantly once he realized that he was at the top of the palace "I don't think I can survive jumping down."

Andrew sighed lightly and shook his head "No... I can't survive jumping down normally but-" Andrew closed his eyes and focused his mind on the energy inside him.

Andrew slowly drowned out the energy and thought about wrapping his legs with the energy. A thick golden color light slowly started to surround his lower legs. It was like a pant around his legs.

"So this is," Andrew said and opened his eyes to look down at the golden color light around his legs "Aura."

Although Andrew was aware of how powerful the aura was he was still hesitant to jump down from the top of the castle.

Andrew looked at the wall and then at his feet before moving the aura from his lower legs to his forearms by making it travel through his thighs, belly, chest, shoulders, arms, etc.

Andrew cracked his fingers by clenching his hands before he suddenly punched the wall. Without any effort, he made a hole through the wall which made a slight smile appear on his face that instantly disappeared once he remembered what was written on the panel he read a few moments ago.

"Okay fair enough." Andrew once again moved his golden aura from his forearms and hands to his lower legs after he took his hand out of the wall.

Andrew stretched his legs before getting on top of the window and taking a deep breath "This is the fastest way Andrew... you must take this risk." Andrew said to himself before jumping out of the window.

Andrew was not foolish enough to risk his life to save some time. He surely jumped out of the window to save time but that was not the only reason. According to the information he got in his mind he should be able to survive jumping down from that height thus he tested that theory as well.

Andrew was falling down but he made sure he would land on his land. It took him a couple of seconds before he was close enough to the ground.

Andrew landed on his feet and as he hit the ground a crack appeared on the ground below him "Phew..." Andrew let out a sigh of relief as soon as he landed.

Andrew gulped and made his throat smooth again. Although he did not show it he was a little scared which made his throat get a little dry.

Andrew looked around to check where he was and even though he was out of the palace he was still inside the walls of his castle.

Andrew looked at the wall in front of him and walked over to the wall. Once he reached near the wall and looked up at the wall.

The wall was the "palace's wall" that was known to be the strongest and biggest wall after the walls at the entrance and boundary wall of Zion.

Palace's wall exceeds the height of 10 meters and was 4 meters thick made up of simple mud and stone bricks. It was a fortification.

Andrew did not waste any time looking at how well built the wall was and jumped on top of the wall using his aura to look down at the condition of his kingdom and get out of the castle.

Andrew could have walked around to find the gate of the palace but that would have likely taken a lot of time and not to mention he wanted to try out the power of the aura thus he chose the best option.

Andrew walked to the edge of the wall and once he looked down at his kingdom his eyes widened at the view he was getting.

"What the..."
