22 Chapter 22- Energy Gathering Elixir, Endeavour Pill

Fortunately for him, he had the Greedvil system for him. Otherwise, he didn't know when and where he would find one.

Even though Yang Chen was clear on this fact, it still didn't solve his dilemma of raising the completion stage of his Eight Fold Split Battle Skill.

The description of the battle skill said that once one reaches the perfect completion stage of the Eight Fold split, they would easily be able to fight someone above their level. That is to say, Yang Chen who was an Eight Star battle apprentice currently, would be able to fight a Nine Star battle apprentice.

Coupled with the fact that he also had the movement type Burst Steps which was also a Middle Tier Earth Grade battle skill, he might even be able to defeat them.

The Star Fall Jungle was filled with strong demonic beasts, it would be quite helpful if he could fight enemies stronger than him. However, that was only if he was able to increase the completion stage of his skill.

At the pace it was increasing, it would take him quite a while to reach that stage.

"I know what you are thinking. The reason why I brought this topic up, is because there is an item in the store that can increase the rate at which you gather battle energy without you needing to practice any cultivation technique" Amon added to lift his spirits up.

"Oh, what is that?" Yang Chen asked curiously.

"The Energy Gathering Elixir and the Endeavour Pill, the first item can temporarily increase the rate at which your body naturally absorbs the battle energy from your surroundings and the second item increases the effectiveness of the training of your battle skills making it double the value for the same effort".

"With these two items, you can easily reach the stage you desire".

There were such magical items? Yang Chen was gobsmacked for a while before his dejection quickly turned into elation.

One helps him absorb battle energy at a faster rate while the other increases the effectiveness of his training. Didn't this mean that he would gain twice the result for half the effort?

With these two magical items, it wouldn't take him that long to bring the completion stage of his two battle skills to the perfect stage.

Yang Chen glanced at the numerous items listed in the medicine and alchemy section of the [shop].

Just like the weapons and armour section, the medicines and elixirs too had their grade. It started from tier one and went as high as tier six and even more. However, all of those items were too costly and just a pipe dream for the him right now.

Yang Chen placed his attention back on the item that he needed now. The Energy gathering pill that Amon recommended him, was only a tier one pill but it still cost 150 mischief points.

The endeavour pill was also a tier one pill and cost around the same. The two items together cost him a total of 300 mischief points. For a one use item, they were quite costly.

Although Yang Chen's heart bled seeing his accumulated points go down, it was a worthy investment.

After he purchased the two items, a peculiar thought struck him and he asked the demon hanging by his side.

"Hey, what about the other options of the menu like the fortune wheel, refinery, pantheon and the various other options why are they greyed out?" Yang Chen asked.

Now that he had become a little stronger, the demonic beasts didn't casually attack him unless he voluntarily intruded on their territory. As such he had the leeway to explore the system without worrying about getting attacked.

Now that he was looking at it carefully, he could see that the Greedvil system had a lot of options other than just the [Character], [Shop] and the [Inventory]. However, those options always said unable to access whenever he clicked on them. Thus he decided to ask the consciousness of the system itself, the demon.

"They are there. Just that due to the reinstallation and the need to adapt itself to this world, the Greedvil system used the energy inside those options because of which, they are temporarily unavailable now" Amon explained after thinking for a while.

"What?" Yang Chen exclaimed.

"Don't worry though, once your reach higher levels the option should get unlocked" Amon told him there was nothing to worry about so Yang Chen could only drop the issue for the time being.

The system was his greatest support that transmigrated with him into this world where might ruled supreme. Without it, Yang Chen would be a little worried going forward.

Thus when he heard that some of the options would be available in the future after he became stronger made him sigh in relief in his heart.

"Alright, remember that the effect of the elixir and the pill will only stay for one day so take it in the morning of the next day" Amon reminded.

This demon was quite peculiar, although it appeared spiteful and seemed to enjoy his misery. He was still dependable when the time came.

This day was almost but over, the snake like demonic beast that he hunted was his fourth beast of the day. Little by little, his efficiency in hunting demonic beasts was increasing.

Initially, when he entered the Star Fall Jungle, he wasn't even able to defeat a single demonic beast that was around a Five Star Battle Apprentice. However, after weeks of experience, he had increased that number from defeating one demonic beast to four per day.

Yang Chen believed that he would be able to increase that number once the completion stage of his battle skill increases further.

After resting on a spot that was rarely visited by the demonic beast for the night, Yang Chen woke up early the next day. He was so excited to improve his battle skills that he woke up even before dawn broke out.

"Alright let's start this" He looked at the two glimmering items that were in his hand.
