The attacks that the dragons have suffered thus far are not something that can threaten the dragon's life but it has definitely angered the dragon and made it stronger.

While the dragon's "Divine Nine Suns Yang Domain" has wavered it wasn't completely destroyed but all the other divine emperors have turned around and suppressed the "Divine Nine Suns Yang Domain" making it far weaker than before.

ROAR! The dragon roared again as could come suddenly from the sky and golden light flowed thought the clouds and three bolts struck down on all the divine emperors as they all had a serious expression on their faces.

Lighting was clearly separated into different levels that made them stronger or weaker. There were three types of lighting blue lighting, purple lighting, and golden lighting.

Only people in the mortal realm would face blue lighting when at the peak of a realm going to another and would receive their first one at the Golden Foundation Realm and whenever a person tried to ascend to another realm. The blue lighting is mostly made of mostly pure energy and little destructive energy and such few people died from the light and people can absorb to skip a level or two in cultivation.

Purple lighting however is completely different as it contained far more destructive energy and was as such it was warned that people do not try to absorb energy from purple lighting. The purple lighting was the thing that mortals first experience when they ascend to the immortal realm and while it was far weaker than real purple lighting many people still died when they tried to ascend to the immortal realm and as thus most mater try not to ascend beyond their realm in fear of getting killed.

Golden lighting is infamous in the immortal realm for killing all geniuses that try to ascend to the god realm. The golden light has not only pure and ahhilation energy it also has peak annihilation laws that will kill all that underestimate it.

WHat the divine emperors saw was lighting stronger than anything they have faced before. The lighting had our yang and annihilation energy and laws making it the strongest and most troublesome lighting they have ever seen.
