Lurking in the dark many shadows were making their way inside the tower, of course they are from Peina, and they are here to execute the first part of the plan make an attempt to steal the device.

The captain of the team although he was experienced in doing missions he was very nervous this time because he is entering the lion__No! The devil den with his own two feet !

To think that strategist Eizen would ask them to make sure they attack when Cain Escardos is within the tower ! And he wouldn't even explain why?! Arn't they seeking death like this ? isn't the outcome of this very obvious ? Can we even make it to the device with him around?

Sigh~

just thinking about this made him very nervous__No! Very scared ! He was scared shitless even before entering!

Using the communication device he starts giving orders "team one and three you will keeping an eye on the surrounding , team two will lead the way and team four will follow behind.

remember everyone the second you are discovered teleport out of here no matter what ! We can always try again, but we can't let them find out who we are ! This is the king orders."

Everybody was well aware how dangerous this mission was, but they are brave enough, so they answered with determination.

"Yes sir "

"Okay lets move."

Team one was responsible for the west part of the tower while team three was in the south part, surveillance may sound easy but it wasn't ! Because they were surveying the space around the tower if by any chance someone locked the space team two and team four will be stuck inside unable to teleport, it will be their turn to move then! While breaking the locked space was hard from the inside it was easier from the outside not mention that they are prepared beforehand.

Team two already entered the tower , the spy gave them the specific location of the device it was the 18th floor of the tower he said as long as we made it there we will know the device when we see it since it was very well protect it will surely catch our attention.

They are entering the fourth floor but the security is very lax they didn't meet any dangerous situation __they didn't meet any situation at all !

Those wizards are way too prideful ! Who do they think they are !? They totally believes that no one will dare come here !

The fifth floor ...

The sixth floor ...

The seventh floor ...

...

Finally, the eighteenth floor ...

Facing the huge door they stared at it speechlessly.

We latterly strolled to the eighteenth floor.

Those damn wizards are insulting people openly !

The captain took a deep breath and instructed the rest sternly "don't let your guard down because of this you won't even know how you died when its to late !"

A cold chuckle from behind sent a chill down their spines.

" I am glad that you know that much at the very least."

Without much thinking the captain who was in shock screamed "Teleport Now!"

he didn't even need to look behind him to see who was that person he didn't know why but his guts, mind, heart, experience ,everything he ever needed to survive was screaming inside him that he must escape !and he trusted them.

In the blink of an eye everyone disappeared.

Before he teleported the captain turned his head around to catch a glimpse of the person his face turned as pale as a paper.

It could be said that his desperation for survival was very strong.

He was fairly right he survived this time, and he also saved his teammates lives in the process thanks to that, because behind him was the great lord of the tower Cain Escardos !

As soon as they teleported team one and three outside got a signal, and they naturally teleported right away.

Soon enough the four teams appeared in the same place.

Team one and three who didn't understand what happened walked toward the others in a hurry.

" Captain what happened inside ? Everything was fine then you suddenly teleported."

The captain who collapsed in the floor was still pale and his forehead was drenched in sweat.

"Everything was fine you say !? Nothing was fine ! We barely escaped death and all of you didn't even know it !"

It was just a gleamps but those pair of red eyes still scared him to death !

He would never mistake him for another because he and only he has Red eyes ,before he showed up no one have ever heard of a person with red eyes !

Back in the tower

Cain was still standing where they left him, a young boy appeared behind him.

The boy was smirking mischievously unlike the captain he wasn't afraid of the devil beside him at all.

" Pfft... you didn't catch them?, didn't you arrogantly say to the guardians when they reported them : 'let them come I will see how they get out "

the corner of his lips twitched a little

he didn't expect them to be cowards and run before he could do anything ,he thought since they had the guts to come here they will at least try to fight a bit before they retreat.

But there is no way he will say that !

meanwhile, the captain was reporting back to strategist Eizen about today failure, he wasn't nervous that he failed because strategist Eizen already said before they start that it was fine.

He couldn't understand why but no matter how you look at it Strategist Eizen seems to want them to fail !, If not? why did he insist they attack when Cain Escardos was at the tower ? If they escaped other wizard's surveillance can they escape his?

" that's all what happened sir strategist."

A calm and lazy voice answered from the star shaped device " Okay lie low for now and wait for new orders soon."
