2 Outsmart oneself

Early in the morning the sky was still dark and the weather was a little cold, the servants in Galastia estate busied themselves with work.

Unlike few maids in the kitchen who were busy gossiping.

" Did you see the miss when she came back yesterday ?"

" Who didn't ! She was too weird it was hard not to notice her."

" Her mood was obviously good, but every time I saw her smiling a chill went down my spine."

" Right ! Right ! Her smile was very creepy."

"Not only that didn't you hear her evil laugh in the middle of the night ? I couldn't sleep after that at all, I felt like evil ghosts were wandering around the place."

" Yeah and when she was packing her bags she kept singing I am coming for you ~ I am coming to get you~' for more than two hours."

In the garden a woman was moving around in circles drawing some runes with her finger on the ground, every time her finger moves the runes light up with blue light. Beside her was standing a middle-aged man with a face full of worry and anxiety.

" Illyanor aren't you going to tell me what is all this about ? Since you came back yesterday you have been acting weird and now you are saying you will be going far away !"

" Dad I already told you that I am going in a mission by his majesty order."

" Then tell me what is the mission about ? I know you have been avoiding me since yesterday just for this question !"

Illyanor evaded her father gaze feeling guilty

" Dad his majesty ordered that the mission is to be kept a secret I cant tell you even if I wanted to ! Beside what are you so worried about your daughter is the Archmage and the most powerful magician in the kingdom."

" Do you think I am stupid ! If it was not a dangerous mission why would his majesty send you ? And why are you going alone ?"

Removing strands of her silver hair behind her ear Illiyanor give her anxious father a reassuring smile." Dad don't worry and have some faith in me i won't do anything reckless I promise."

This daughter of his is stubborn she won't back down no matter what.he felt helpless,his daughter would never understand that no matter how powerful she is he will always worry about her." then at least tell me where are you going ? You are curving the teleportation circle by hand its mean you are teleporting far away from here."

" Loei kingdom Dad I am going to Loei. I am done with magic circle its time for me to go dad ! "

" Fine take care of yourself and don't be reckless understand !?"

" Yes dad take care of yourself too."

Standing in the middle of the magic circle Illyanor gave him a gentle smile telling him to believe in her, then withing a second her green jade eyes turned into a golden color, and the magic circle light up making her disappear in no time.

Peina kingdom west border

The ground light up inside a field,a figure appeared from within the light.as soon as Illyanor Galastia arrived the serious expression she showed her dear father disappeared to thin air.

" Hahahahaha Cain Escardos just wait if i don't make you regret looking down on me my name isn't Illyanor Galastia !"

" Young lady are you alright?!"

Illyanor who was deep in her happy thoughts of revenge didn't notice the farmers working behind her.

When she turned around many pairs of eyes were staring at her obviously dumbfounded and speechless, God what an embarrassment she sure looked like crazy witch who appeared out of nowhere.

"I am fine sorry to disturb you."

The farmers were still puzzled about the young lady appearing here, but they didn't kick a fuss about it because magic wasn't a rare sight here but even farmers like them know that not anyone can use teleportation magic, mages who can teleport are powerful and have bright future.

" Ah ok as long as you are fine, young lady."

Taking a deep breath illyanor setpped out of the field to the main road she need to make it to Velvet Village tonight.

There is nothing special about Velvet village but it's the main and safer point that separates the two kingdoms, people use it all the time so it won't be suspicious to go to Loei through it.she could of course teleport directly to Loei or even their capital but a powerful magic spell like that will affect the magic flow in the air, and she will be exposed, so traveling like ordinary people is the best way to go there.

After 2 hours walk she arrived to Velvet Village although it was called a village it was in fact a city now, it changed to a city after the border was opened for trades and business.

"Now all I need is to register for one of tomorrow trips to Loei. "

To make it more convenient people here go and come in groups although this route is the safer it's better to be safe than sorry, one never know what may happen.

Arriving at the border gate illyanor lips twitched at the sight of the guard lazing around and making themselves at home.they really have no shame to think people call them the guardians of the west !!

Ignoring the view she made her way to them.

" Hello I would like to register for tomorrow trip sir."

" Heheheh … Hic... hic..." pointing his finger at her with happy-go-lucky attitude " one, two, three. Lady you have three heads. "

She was left speechless.

This is just unbelievable he is drunk in broad daylight and on duty at that, what the hell happened to the soldiers ?!she will make sure to report this !!

" I want to register for tomorrow trip."

" Hic …HIC ...but you have ...HIC… Three heads …are you paying …hic… For three places on the …hic ... carriage ?"

Dear god I want to beat him up so badly.

"Look over there sir don't all the people you see have three heads ?"

Turning around to face him again with sly smile on her face, she froze at the sight of him running away toward the crowd of people.

" NO… NO... NO … Where is the doctor ! I need a doctor I have three eyes!! "

Her lips twitched her face was black with anger, is this what people call outsmart oneself ? how is she going to register now !!
