Chapter 1 – A Morning Star
The year is 3,800DR it is a beautiful summer morning in Cortexx, there is a festival in full swing in the capital which is home to Samael Morningstar and his new Fiancé Shyilia, Samael has just presented her with a Cyan green and Azure blue Diamond Infused pladiamrite, metal ring:
shyilia is an elegant looking woman wearing a beautiful sky blue evening dress which has a frayed hem along the base and white embroidered clear sleeves.
Samael is a stern young man who is known for being wise beyond his years because of his many family tutors and instructors he is an expert in all forms of military combat, tactics and magic manipulation, he wears a beautiful burgundy red cloak with gold embroidery with dark leather and iron hide armour with Azure blue colouring to highlight the armours detail.
"Oh... Honey….. I love it." Shyilia softly spoke in a loving manner, looking at her new gemstone ring that fits comfortably around her finger.
"Only the best for my beautiful wife" said Samael with a slight grin.
Samael had always been a military man raised to understand combat in as many forms as could be thought of, and saw being with his fellow soldiers as family but it wasn't until he met Shyilia that he understood true happiness and the concept of a real family.
"So….. My dearest wife... Where shall we go to celebrate our new lives together" Samael says in joyful manner
Shyilia blushes bright red with embarrassment and glee.
"Let us go to the tempest and send probes out to find a lush tropical world to spend a few days privately" Shyilia cheerfully says.
"Yes Lets" Samael agrees in a chipper way
On the way to the Tempest Both Samael and Shyilia take in the beauty of the surrounding areas of Drekran and Cortexx as a whole.
"It truly is a sight to behold is it not." Shyilia says smiling
"It is..... and it will be a sight for our children to behold to, and with you as their mother they will adore this world just like you" Samael says looking over at the city with a heartfelt smile adorning his face.
After enjoying the view for a while both Samael and Shyilia board the tempest and casually make their way to the navigation area.
"So Honey where to" Shyilia say curiously.
"How about here..." Samael points to a planet in the nav computer
"By the gods... are you mad this planet is far too cold" Shyilia says jokingly
"hmmmm...true true.... how about here" Samael points to a dark planet
" honey... are you trying to give me nightmares, that place is known for absorbing all forms of light no one can see on the surface we don't know what is down there." Shyilia points out
All Samael can do is nod and agree as he knew she was right none of the reports have brought back any information about the planet.
Samael proceeded to point out several planets in the solar system all of which Shyilia shot down finding one fault or another with all of them.
"Humph....." Samael lets out a deep sigh pointing at the last planet known to them, "What about here..." Samael points out a tropical planet
"OH...my....god.. Honey, you're a genius this place is perfect awww can we please have our honeymoon here... the water is crystal clear, the temperature seems to stay at a comfortable level, it's perfect." Shyilia pleaded with Samael, he eventually gave in
"Fine...we will go there for our honeymoon, my love, my light in the darkness, if it makes you happy this is where we shall spend our quality time together." Samael states in a tired but content tone.
Both Samael and his wife Shyilia head to this topical planet to see what the surface is like and if it is the place where Shyilia would want to have as her honeymoon location.
