CH. 5 Journey Begins

After the battle it was already at night, Juvia went and cooked dinner as Blue was sitting at the table thinking about the battle. 'How did I lose?' Blue started thinking about all the move and strategy that happen during battle.

Blue 'Where did I go wrong?'

Professor Oak who was helping Eileen cooking noticed Blue frustration, he then went back into the kitchen. "Eileen, I think you have an explanation to do today," said Professor Oak cleaning the dish. Eileen was confused at Professor Oak and went to the door and notice Blue sitting and his worried face, she immediately understands what Professor Oak means. "Don't worry Professor, I will handle this." and she went back to cooking.

At the table it was quiet, Blue was eating quietly. Eileen knew that he wanted to know about today battle.

Eileen "Blue are you frustrated about today battle."

Blue immediately looked up and stare at Professor Oak and Eileen. Eileen knew that he was frustrated and wanted to know about the battle, especially how he lost. "Professor did you pick that up?" asked Eileen. Professor Oak nodded and went out. After a minute he came back with a box. Blue was confused and looked into the box finding a burned paper. He looked at Eileen and Professor Oak.

Eileen "Blue before you asked any question, tells me what you see different about Arbok."

She called Arbok out and Blue went forward to Arbok. He looked around it, but find nothing except how shiny its skins are. Eileen saw that Blue noticed that Arbok skins in shiny. "Blue that burned paper in the box was Arbok old skin," said Eileen. Blue was shocked and looked at Professor Oak, who nodded "Yes, Blue it is Arbok old skin."

Eileen "Now Blue, before you start to miss understanding about this. Blue do you know the ability of Arbok?"

Blue went and took his Pokedex and search about Arbok. "Arbok ability is Intimidate, Shed Skin, and Unnerve.".

"Blue tell me what does Shed Skin do?" asked Eileen. Then Blue start search about Shed Skin, but suddenly he paused and looked at Eileen and Professor Oak.

Eileen "The reason I win in this battle because Arbok has to shed its skin to be able to survive in Charizard Flamethrower. Shed Skins also remove Static Condition such as burned or poison, so that why Arbox survive." Eileen was about to explain more about it in detail, but Blue interrupt "Impossible! Even with Shed Skins, it won't be able to survive if it is covered in flame!"

Eileen sipped tea and asked, "Blue how many pokemon fire do you think Professor have?" "A lot" answered Blue . "Every time there is a fight between two fire type pokemon, as his assistant, I always need to check if the pokemon are fighting or not. Every time fire type pokemon, I always sent Arbok to stop them and almost every time this happens. As a result, my Arbok has better resistance than others Arbok." explained Eileen.

Blue was surprised and turned to Eileen and smiled "Thank you" and went to his room.

It was a normal day where Eileen wakes up early and went down to the kitchen preparing breakfast. Later Professor Oak and Blue came down and went to the kitchen. "Good morning Professor, Blue" greeted Eileen as she brings the food to the table.

"This is delicious!" said Blue as he continues eating more. After eating they went to the living room because Professor Oak wanted to talk to them. "Eileen, I think it is time for you to start your journey," said Professor Oak and Eileen was shocked. "Eileen, you have been a great assistant for me for a while now and I think that you are ready to start your journey.". Professor Oak handed a box to her. Eileen accepted the box and looked at Professor Oak.

Professor Oak "Open it"

Eileen opened the box and was surprised, she found a certificate, a Pokedex, and three Great balls. Blue was trying his best to see what is inside the box, but Professor Oak stopped him.

Professor Oak "This certificate is about how you have become the youngest Junior Pokemon Researcher at the age of 16. This will allow you to hold more than six Pokemon, and that is the National Pokedex that has been installed with your status as a Junior Pokemon Researcher and a Pokemon Trainer."

Professor Oak "Eileen I know you are happy, but there are three Great balls in there right? One of them is from Professor Rowan, one is from Professor Elm, and the last one is from Professor Juniper. They have sent a Skorupi, a Misdreavus, and a Pidove."

Both Eileen and Blue was shocked at the gift sent by different Professor. Eileen was so happy that she had achieved her step to her goal as a top Pokemon Researcher, and Blue was shocked at how young but success she was. This doesn't make him feel down, but it instead motivated him even more. He knew that he need to become strong.

Professor Oak was happy for Eileen and while Blue was motivated. Eileen went to her room and prepare for her new journey.
