150 The Mysterious Doorway - Part 2
So after Mesa told them everything about himself, from him being from another universe and dying there, to reincarnating in this universe and being able to bring weapons, powers, treasures etcetera from other universes and making it his own and sharing them with others. So saying that they were astonished would be an understatement. Frankly, everyone, except for Xia Qingyue, were speechless and processing the immense piece of news they were just told.
"Now I know that what I have just told you was a lot to process and I can imagine that you have a million questions running through your minds. So feel free to ask me whatever question you have, I will answer all." Said Mesa.
"Mesa, why did you tell them this?" Asked Xia Qingyue.
"Because I don't want to keep this a secret from those whom I care about any longer." Said Mesa with the latter part of the sentence still being processed by them. And with the power of the Infinity Stones, he can ensure that no one will know his secret that he does not want them to know. But this he kept to himself, for he had chosen to place his trust in them instead of telling them that he could control their minds.
"Qingyue, you knew about all of this already. When were you told all this?" Said Palace Mistress Gong Yuxian.
"It was inside the Heaven Basin Secret Realm after the Blue Wind Ranking Tournament had ended." Said Mesa as he went on to explain how the two of them had linked up with on another inside the Heaven Basin Secret Realm and travelled together. After that, he told them about how they reached the center of the Heaven Basin Secret Realm, found the Emperor Awakening Heart Lotus and how they were subsequently ambushed by thousands beasts at Tyrant and Sovereign Profound Realm. After an excruciating battle against these Profound beasts, in which he had empowered himself with the Boosted Gear, the Lich King appeared. And the Lich King, just like him, is a being from another universe. The Lich King, though not from the same universe as him, is a being of infinite malice and hate whose only desire is to plunge the world into an eternal darkness and extinguish all life and turn in it all into his army undead slave soldiers.
When he said this, Chu Yuechan and Chu Yueli suddenly stood up with a look shock of their faces.
"Is that Lich King the reason why suddenly the dead came back to life and attacked us?" Asked Chu Yuechan in shock.
"Yes." Said Mesa. "If the dead came back to life, then there is no doubt about it that it was the Lich King's doing."
"Qingyue." Said Mesa addressing her directly. "Will tell them what happened after the appearance of the Lich King."
"He vanquished that monster." Said Xia Qingyue. The look on her face spoke volumes on the impact that the sudden appearance of the Lich King had on her, but she would not let it drag her down. "After Mesa had killed those Profound Beasts, he had overexerted himself and fell unconscious, that was when the Lich King appeared."
"Seeing that monster for myself, I am not ashamed to admit that I was afraid for my life for I knew that could not stand up to it, but I refused to yield to it." Said Xia Qingyue with a look of sheer bloody minded determination.
"So after my attempt to attack it had proven to be futile, I had garnered it fury and it attacked me. That was when Mesa had awoken and got in between us and he eventually vanquished it." Said Xia Qingyue.
"Mesa, why are you telling us this?" Asked Grand Palace Mistress Feng Qianhui.
"Firstly, because I wanted to share this information with you all since I am certain that since Chu Yuechan and Chu Yueli and the other Palace members who were in the Heaven Basin Secret Realm at the time have seen the malicious influence of the Lich King upon the world." Said Mesa holding up one finger.
"Secondly, after I had defeated the Lich King, I was rewarded with the Mind Stone." Said Mesa indicating the Mind Stone. "After which I have learned that there are trial grounds for me where I can get the other Infinity Stones. Where those trial grounds are and what the trials will entail, I do not know. But what I do know is that I am keeping a constant vigil on the locations of these trial grounds."
"And thirdly, and arguably most importantly to the Frozen Cloud Asgard." Said Mesa holding up three fingers. "I have been thinking about what you said to me Grand Palace Mistress about the Thousand Year Calamity and about you bringing me here to help you out during that time. After learning about the about those trials, I have come to the conclusion that not only can I help the Frozen Cloud Asgard survive when the calamity arrives. I can, if fortune smiles upon us, ensure that the calamity you fear may soon be upon us is nothing more than a minor inconvenience."
At that, the Palace Mistress and Grand Palace Mistress' eyes went wide for a moment before they regained control of their emotions, though the same could for the others who were present.
So with the same emotion controlled voice that she used to speak to Mesa earlier, Grand Palace Mistress Fen Qianhui said: "If what you say is true, then not only will you help our Frozen Cloud Asgard survive, you will help it thrive though the Thousand Year Calamity."
And at that, the Grand Palace Mistress let slip a small smile through her lips.
"Then, if everything else that you said is true, then not only have all of my doubt about letting you, a man, join our Frozen Cloud Asgard been lifted. You are well on your way to attaining god like power. Am I correct in that assumption?" Asked Grand Palace Mistress Feng Qianhui.
"You are correct indeed." Answered Mesa.
At this, everyone else just went wide-eyed and mouth agape at the implication. But for some, the implication went even further than that, for Chu Yuechan's eyes were not just wide with shock, but also with gleeful excitement.
'Seriously.' Thought Chu Yuechan in astonishment. 'So not only is my lover an incredibly powerful warrior who is only getting stronger at an exponentially faster rate, but he is he is on his way to basically becoming a god.'
Looking him up and down a few down, Chu Yuechan regained her composure, but secretly, she was getting hornier and hornier by the second and thinking: 'Once this all over, I am definitely going to fuck you silly.'
Thinking further and further, she had made a silent vow to herself: 'Once this is all over and the Frozen Cloud Asgard is as great as the Sacred Grounds, I will have your child.'
"Now that I have said everything I wanted to say, I have one last request." Said Mesa as he stood up again.
"Please keep that everything that has been discussed here to yourselves."
"Obviously." Said Palace Mistress Gong Yuxian. "The rest of the Frozen Cloud Asgard is definitely not ready to hear this news."
"Thank you Palace Mistr…" Said Mesa with a bow of his head before he cut himself off and his eyes went wide with shock.
"Mesa, are you alright?" Asked Palace Mistress Gong Yuxian at Mesa's sudden shift in demeanor.
Looking back up, Mesa had a big grin of excitement on his face.
"Remember when I said I was keeping a constant vigil on the trial grounds." Said Mesa and everyone else just nodded for a moment before their eyes went wide.
"I have found it!" Said Mesa. "I am sorry, but I must go there right now, but I promise you that I WILL succeed and return with that third Infinity Stone!"
With a wave of his hand, he telepathically implanted the knowledge directly into their minds of where he found this new trial ground before teleporting out of there.

Ten Thousand Beasts Mountain Range
That morning, whilst Mesa was having breakfast with Cang Yue and Emperor Cang Wanhe, he had sent out two clones. One went to the Frozen Cloud Asgard and the other one went to Ten Thousand Beast Mountain Range to investigate a strange closed doorway that had a weird riddle.
Arriving in said weird cave and looking at said weird door, he saw the weird riddle above it.

This door was a massive stone double door that had three massive horizontal wooden slats in front of it, blocking it. Being in its presence made the desire to go through it even greater.
"Hey you two, come out here and see this door I spoke of." Said Mesa seemingly to no one, until suddenly two figures appeared out of nowhere. These figures were Jasmine and Ophis.
Looking at the door and the riddle above it, Ophis asked: "Is this the weird door you were talking about?"
"Yes, this is the one." Said Mesa.
"So, does anyone of you know what that riddle is talking about, because I am drawing a complete blank here." Said Mesa.
Looking over at Ophis, she simply shrugs her, indicating that she too had no idea what the riddle was referencing. Jasmine, on the other hand, was looking at it very intently.
"Jasmine, you okay there?" Asked Mesa, but she ignored him and kept staring at the riddle.
"Have you tried breaking open the door?" Asked Ophis.
"Not yet, but I might as well just try." Said Mesa as he took out Yamato and walked over to the door and gave a lazy sling at the lowest wooden slat, completely confident that Yamato would slice through it like a hot knife through butter.
But instead, Yamato came to a dead stop the moment it hit the wooden slat and didn't even leave a nick on the wood. Suffice to say, Mesa was very surprised at the result. Glancing at Ophis, he could see that she too did not expect this result.
"Maybe if I swing Yamato with more force." Said Mesa and held Yamato above his head with two hands and swung down hard with the same result, but with his forearms going numb from the intense vibrations as Yamato was stopped once again.
"Ow! What is this door!" Said Mesa.
"I got it!" Said Jasmine suddenly.
"You do?" Said Ophis and Mesa simultaneously.
"Yes! The riddle references a math problem." Said Jasmine.
"That 'something divided by nothing' means divide by zero, which is impossible because the answer would be infinite. So the answer to this riddle is INFINITY" Yelled out Jasmine and at that there was a reaction. The horizontal wooden slat started to slide to the sides and massive double door opened up to them. Looking in, what they saw beyond the doors was a light.
*DING ["Congratulations sir, you have just found the site of the second Infinity Trial.]
"What!" Said Mesa in sudden surprise, startling Jasmine and Ophis.
"You guys, JARVIS just informed me that this door will lead us to the second Infinity Trial." Said Mesa surprising Jasmine and Ophis as well.
*DING ["Sir, this second Infinity Trial will involve you going to another world and completing a quest in order to earn another Infinity Stone. In this Trial, you are allowed to bring other individuals with you to help you out. The details of which world you will be sent to and details pertaining to the Trial itself will be revealed to you once you enter."]
Absorbing all this information, Mesa told Jasmine or Ophis to hit him now in order for his clone body to dissipate and inform the real Mesa about this development immediately. So with that, Jasmine punched clone Mesa to dissipate him and a few seconds later the real Mesa teleported to their location. Not much later, another clone Mesa, the one that was at the Frozen Cloud Asgard and informing them about himself, also teleported in with Ran and Shaw in tow and dissipated upon arrival.
And with everyone gathered, it was time to walk through that door and attempt the Infinity Trial. As they walk through the door and the light envelopes Mesa, Jasmine, Ophis and Ran and Shaw, the door closes shut behind them. Once the light has dissipated and their surroundings became clear, the group had found themselves in a dense forest with massive pine trees that are like 30m - 40m (98ft – 165ft) tall.
*DING ["Welcome to the world of Remnant, it is here where you will compete to earn your third Infinity Stone. You and your group must slay 10 million creatures of Grimm within a three-year time span in order to be informed of the location of the third Infinity Stone and retrieve it."]

And I am once again back, though I do not have set schedule for chapter releases, I will be picking up the writing once again and continue this adventure of Mesa Uchiha. For those who are very surprised by this sudden change in scenery, I have other worlds in mind for the other Infinity Trials. And allow me inform you now, those Infinity Trials will be more and more hellish to complete.
