that my heart

THOUGHTS OF HER BROTHER MAKES AUBREY GASP.

"My brother." She utters, looking up at the two people in front of her, "Where is he? Let him go, please. Just let him go." She starts crying again.

"Your brother is fine." The brown haired says.

"You expect me to believe that?" Aubrey yells.

Brady has always been very important to Aubrey, since they were kids. He's more than just a little brother she has to protect, he was the only one beside her while growing up since her parents were always out working; she never felt lonely because of his presence. Most of the time, he would act like the older sibling.

"Oh, is that the dog poop that has been ringing up your cell?" Gemma brings out Aubrey's phone from her pocket.

"Give me that." Aubrey commands again.

She ignores her. "He has been calling you for hours now. 26 missed calls and 48 messages. Wow, you have one hell of a brother." She chuckles darkly.

Yes, she stored his contact as 'dog poop' but that doesn't mean she doesn't care for him.

"Believe me, your brother is safe." The brown-haired responds.

BACK AT ELM STREET. 12:08 AM.

Brady opens up the door to carefully peer outside. A frown appears on his face when he sees the empty streets with lamps planted everywhere but there isn't a single shadow.

"Gosh, where are you Aubrey?" He asks himself.

About going back into the house, he sights a small bag on the ground. The frown not leaving his face, he squats to get a better look. He soon realizes what's inside the bag is bread—the bread Aubrey went out to get.

He looks back at the streets, scanning around to see if he can find his sister but she isn't anywhere around.

Brady sighs, "Aubrey, this isn't funny. Are you trying to scare me?" He says out, looking around the house as he suspects Aubrey is hiding in an attempt to frighten him.

About a minute passes and he doesn't hear her response or sees any sign of her presence, so he goes back into the house with the bread in his hands, "Fine. I'm locking you outside."

"Believe me, your brother is safe."

Aubrey battles with the emotions of fear and worry. "Just let me go."

"We can't. You see—"

"Untie her." A deep voice sounds and Aubrey snaps her head up instantly, feeling the atmosphere change as if someone important walks in. Lights enters into the room through the opened door and Aubrey's eyes start to adjust to take in the items in her surroundings.

The two kidnappers both turn their heads to see the third one walk in.

Aubrey stares in disgust and anger at the red-brown haired man; she remembers he's the last one of them at her gate. He too stares back at her but with a blank look that doesn't show his thoughts.

"What are you doing? I said untie her." He looks to Gemma.

"Are you crazy? She might run away." Gemma argues fiercely.

"She won't be able to." The man with red-brown hair says.

Aubrey can feel he has this authoritative voice and aura that makes one want to obey him. He still has on the clothes she saw him in at her gate. His hair is cut decently short at the top of his head and he would look less frightening if it wasn't for his cold, grey colored eyes. His body proportion makes Aubrey swallow, noticing he is the biggest among the three. She eyes him up and down, pondering on his statement— That is what they think. Once they untie her, she will be out of there at the speed of lightening, they wouldn't even see her. Her thoughts exactly.

"Untie her now." He says firmly to Gemma and she turns to give Aubrey a look of distaste.

Gemma walks up to Aubrey in her black, shiny heels and moves to untie her hands first. Unknown to Gemma, Aubrey has mischievous motives. Immediately the girl's hands are freed, she moves her hands to Gemma; connecting her palm with her face, hard. Gemma's eyes widen as her palm moves to rub her red, left cheek. In a matter of seconds, the shocked look switches into an angry look and she yells at Aubrey.

"You bitch!" Gemma reaches her hands to Aubrey's neck, trying to choke her.

At that split moment, Aubrey knows she is done for and shouldn't have slapped her kidnapper; one of the things that is highly advised against while trying to survive a kidnapping. She begins kicking her legs, in hopes to be freed from the choking hands.

"Gemma. Let her go." The red-brown haired yells loudly and Gemma immediately stops, her hands moving away reluctantly.

Gemma's eyes are still angry as she glares deadly at Aubrey. "You messed with the wrong one." With that last statement, she walks out; her black hair bouncing around her waist as she walks out of the room.

Aubrey still doesn't give up; she turns a dumb mind to the fact she almost got killed and tries to escape again. She eyes the red-brown haired and Brown-haired who are giving her suspicious looks. She takes that moment to quickly untie her legs and get up from the chair, running past the kidnappers and into god knows where. However, she is caught before getting anywhere.

The red-brown haired snatches her by the arm, instantly stopping her.

Aubrey manages to ignore the stinging pain in her arm as she snarls out at his tall frame, "Let me go."

"Follow me." He briefly says.

Surprisingly, Aubrey's legs start moving on their own accord. She gasps with wide eyes, her hopes of escape turning into dust.

"Where are you taking me? Let me go, please. I want to go home." She begins pleading; her last hope for escape. She tries to take control of her feet, but they keep on walking behind him like a puppet. Her brows furrow at the action, feeling her pulse pick up.

The brown-red haired keeps walking in front of her, ignoring her statements. She turns to stare behind at the brown-haired male tailing behind her and he gives her a sympathetic smile. His pity face only makes her grow frustrated— she doesn't want sympathy from anyone of them.

"What are you doing? Let me go! I have no business with you." She yells the more after seeing how her legs don't work as a part of her body. She walks through the darkness and into a lighted room where she sees a door –an exit– but she can't run to it. "What's happening?" She whispers in muffled breaths.

She starts joining the dots with a straight line mentally, thinking all what they say is false and her brother has also been kidnapped. There's a possibility that they went into the house after making her faint.

"Take me home. I want to go back with my brother. Where is he? Are you keeping him here too? I—"

The man in front of her stops walking, turning instantly to face her. "Your brother is the least of your worries now."

She frowns at him.

"Take a seat."

Ouch she tried choking her. Poor Aubrey, i hope you get out soon.
