16 Is that really you?

"My daughter, it's been months! But there is still no news!" Su Jiu sighed as he felt aggrieved and guilt in his heart.

"Don't cry, son. Crying won't do you any good. If she is really alive, Qing'er will definitely come back." Su Bai tried to comfort his son despite the chance of her comeback being too low.

There is no way someone like Su Qing would give away the token to Rong Jin willingly, and she has yet to come back to explain herself.

"Yes, father. I'll not cry." Su Jiu wiped away his tears, but his eyes were still swollen. 

Su Bai went silent as he let Su Jiu cry, he couldn't help it when his own son lost his daughter. 

Su Bai was the lord of Su Household, as well as the grandfather of Su Qing. He was also a trusted person with an upright and honest attitude who was loyal to his country as such.
