13 Journey Of Memories.

*FLASHBACK*

Kuro was born in an rich family. He's technically a noble, part of the Hell Nobility. The ones who live in the Hell Ocean and Continent, which little fear to pirates, as most of them fear the Divine Beasts, and also are too weak to survive here.

His family was very powerful, his mother and father were powerful nobles, and sometimes went out to complete missions given to them by others, to make a living. His grandfather and older brother were out in a journey.

He was very jealous of his older brother, who could do whatever he wanted, and go out in a journey with his grandpa of all people! He's one of the coolest people he knew in this world!

Kuro was inside the mansion his family owned, which was quite large, it could probably fit hundreds of people together, and still have place left for more. It was privately owned by his family, and only about ten people lived in it, all his relatives.

He was out in the garden, playing around, with few people guarding him, his family was all out, and he was the only one in home, as they were all busy with their respective missions.

Kuro was very lonely at the moment, he was very bored and wanted someone to talk to. He remembered falling asleep, and when he woke up, he could only see one thing.

Flames,flames...flames,flames,FLAMES!There were flames everywhere.Fresh blood was spilled everywhere as people madly roared like beasts.A single person in white who nobody dared to attack walked towards Kuro who had just woken up. He extended one of his hands and patted the boy.

"Unfortunate soul. Your parents are quite stupid, to leave you in the open with that kind of power... I'll make sure to use you properly. You'll be of quite use to me. Speaking of that, you need a new name, I don't need a tool with that name.

You'll have no emotions, no will, nothing...

Your name is...

Zero."

*Next Week*

In an unknown location, inside a lab which was entirely white, the cries of a child could be heard, cries of pain and hate. That cry was of Kuro, or also called Zero by the lab. He barely had the power to yell, as he was being experimented on.

'I want to die...Please kill me...kill...me…'

He was being broken mentally and physically by this group of scientists who were experimenting on his body, as if he was nothing more than a lab rat. He could feel the pain, his entire soul shaking in pain.

"Endure my little cute toy... So you might be a little of use to me..."

Kuro could only breathe, his voice was slowly losing it's former power. He felt like he was dying, but he was not even close to that. His eyes slowly changed color to pure white, he was losing any form of emotion he had, but there was still something remaining, hope.

"Help...me…"

Kuro always muttered this in the beginning of each experiment.but who would hear him,no matter how desperate he was,who woulds?God?The other gods?His parents?His Family?Or would he himself save himself?

But he would never lose hope,even if it the end of the world or even the universe.He would survive,he would!He would certainly survive!He swore to himself that.He would take revenge.Even if he had to use the power of these who experimented in him.

One of those days, after a long day of being experimented on, the lab crew left a devil fruit near him, merely wanting to mock him, and enjoying his struggle to trying to near and eat it. It was really pointless, he was covered in several tight leather rope which made it even more funny.

He took a long breath. He could hear a voice in his soul, speaking in amusement. " I'll help you get that Devil Fruit, but in return... I need you to be true to yourself, I want to witness your adventure. Do you accept?"

What else could be do besides nodding furiously.

"Interesting soul you have my little friend... Here... This is the Lightning Devil Fruit, although not the strongest, it's still decently strong. Appreciate it."

The Devil Fruit slowly flew towards him, as if something was pushing it. As Kuro slowly ate the Lightning Devil Fruit, he could feel knowledge enter his brain, he could feel the power enter his blood. He felt invincible, but he knew that he was far from invincible.

"Lightning Bolt Descend!" He muttered and flicked his fingers as a large lightning bolt hit the large lab, rendering most of it useless from now on.

Kuro was finally free. He could escape...

The last thing he remembered before falling unconscious, were his grandfather and older brother's voices and faces.

The two had discovered his powers, and thought it was too dangerous to stay in the Hell Continent anymore, and his parents had been labeled lost, thus the small family of 3 disappeared from the continent.

They quickly settled in the South Sea and his grandfather became a marine Admiral and then a Fleet Admiral and finally the Admiral King.While His Brother was also a marine Admiral.But they also sealed Kuro's memories and left him with the Lightning God Sword Which was one of the most ancient treasures of their clan.

Since his Devil Fruit was Lightning, they deemed it appropriate for him to wield that sword.

*FLASHBACK END*

Kuro slowly opened his eyes and looked around.He saw the blue sea and sky and his friends."Where are we?" Yuki answered,"In the sea.You finally woke up, you slept for over two days, Captain!"

Haken looked at him, with a dark glare," Capt, why were you sleeping so heavily, no matter what we did, we couldn't wake you up..."

Kuro sighed, he decided to tell them everything. They were his precious crew mates, and friends. Friends did not need to hide anything from each other.

After all,

"It all began from this…"

When he finished,Yuki and Haken were in tears.They thought Kuro was just the nephew of a marine as he never told them he was an ADMIRAL and a former NOBLE. That also made Kuro a former Noble...

"Captain...Sob,Sob,I am sorry!"Haken and Yuki were in tears as they put their hands in each of his shoulders .They were really sorry for anything bad they did to him but Kuro was fine,"No need to be sorry,It is nothing."

"By the way,what is that desolate island with black sand?"Kuro pointed at a single huge island."W-win-winds OF DEATH ISLAND!"Yuki yelled finally realizing that the lightning had still worked even after he was unconscious .Haken was calm but inside he was slightly shivering.The aura it released couldn't be underestimated.

"Aura of death...And not a small dose of it...AMAZING!" Kuro was excited.There were only two ways for such an aura of death to be released:one was for many people to die on it or for there to be a very strong Devil Fruit which was connected to darkness, or death in one way or another.

"Devil Fruit…"Kuro drooled."You like them?"Haken was curious.Every person who ate Devil Fruits said they tasted terrible."As a side effect of the experiments I like them a lot...Besides eating one gives me a powerup."Kuro continued."There should be many types of devil fruits which can survive for years,Death,Dark or even Light.Each are really strong."

"Then…"Before they could say anything,Kuro had already set his legs on the island.It was really soft like the meat of a cooked beast.Kuro took a bit sand and ate it."Delicious!"It was really delicious.Sighing,Yuki and Haken also set their legs on the island."Soft…"They both said at the same time and blushed.

"The Love Couple ,eh?"Kuro teased them,making them blush even further.Then his face turned serious."There should be only two types of islands who can be so soft and delicious: one is the Food Food Island or Meat Island.But this should be forgotten and rotted island."Yuki and Haken shivered.

It was extremely weird for an Island with such a weird name, to have such a delicious surface... Or so they thought.

Kuro knew more about islands as he was from the Hell Ocean even if he had barely learned anything in the time he was there as he only lived there for five years.But he was allowed to read in his free time when there were no experiments.

But even in that time he barely read anything.But even in the Grand Line and the Four Seas he had more knowledge than the others."Then...Lighting Specter!"Suddenly lightning gathered to form a specter which made Yuki jump in fear."Search for life."Kuro ordered it and it nodded.
