10 First God [Aiden]

The five gods have gathered around the round table in the cloud palace. The burble of the waterfall rattled the milky walls.

"My dear friends," announced the God at the end of the table, "Let's discuss our heroes, shall we?"

"We shall."

"Now, look at the surface."

The clouds covered the marble surface of the table before the mini version of the kingdom appeared on it. People were represented in their routines with the lively aura around them.

"Our hero is on its way to change the world."

"Indeed." The remaining ones responded to their leader in unison.

"But one problem emerged."

"And that is?" A woman with long wavy golden hair inquired with a haughty expression on her splendid face.

"Remember when we carried out our execution on two persons ten years ago?"

She jerked her head, urging him to continue. Her golden armour couldn't hide her curves and delicate but strong figure.

"Ten years later, and I feel their presence."

Few gasps echoed throughout the vast room as the woman gazed down unfazed.

"Leonessa, have any requests on how to deal with them?"

"We should let them be."

"What are you saying, Golden God?" The one in a green robe uttered, gazing at the woman wide-eyed.

"He is right, Leo. We must carry out the same mission again. Look at the world! It's rotting! We must do some-"

"But killing off the humans who are the reasons of our whole existence is justice to you?" Leonessa jolted up and slammed her fist on the table. She could never control her temper. She was a warrior god, after all!

Some snorted, some choked on their saliva as the primary God raised his head with a scorned expression.

"Leonessa, you are crossing every line."

"Hah? You did it a long time ago." She retorted and stormed out of the room, slamming the enormous door behind her.

"Ungrateful brat!" The blue God sprang up, ready to pounce at her, but the stern voice halted him in his place.

"Enough!"

Everyone took their places as they raised to their feet seconds before because Leo could cripple any of them in her angered state.

"We all know Leonessa. I'll talk to her later. Now to a more important matter. Those two I mentioned before need to be eliminated since their energy is growing day by day."

"I did it before. I'll do it again." The blue God said half-heartedly.

"No, Nycto. My assistant will. We shouldn't dirty our hands with mere mortals."

"Reasonable."

"The woman is under the most powerful demon's wing, so we can't attack her right now. But the boy is vulnerable and can be easily killed. "

The gods nodded as Nycto gritted his teeth in distaste.

"Honey, you look so handsome." Loren complimented his son as he wore the attire relevant to the high lord.

"I can't believe you arranged this stupid meeting with The Explosion family!"

"Ah, young love!"

"What love, ma? I barely even recognize that witch as a girl! For fuck's sake, she is a child!"

"Sweet Go…Lord! Stop cursing, Aiden, Will you? And the girl is the most beautiful female in this realm."

"She is a child!"

"She is fourteen and ready to bear your children."

Aiden cringed and shunned from her as the ridiculosity could be read on his horrified face.

"I'm done." He said before dashing towards the door.

"No, honey! I was thirteen when I had you!"

"That's why you couldn't raise me."

He called out from the hall as he heard his mother's exclaims.

When Aiden reached the main hall, he froze as he glanced at Danielle, the heir of the Explosion clan.

"Aiden!" She hailed at him as Aiden felt his blood go cold.

Daniel, the high lord, stopped the conversation with Amon and both looked in Aiden's way.

"Son, join us."

Aiden cursed inwardly and strolled towards them as he bowed at the guests. He couldn't believe this girl was going to marry him. The girl that ogled him shamelessly was ready to devour him, and the young lord had to suck all of his strength out not to shrink away.

"Let's leave our fathers." She suggested, and Aiden was about to rebut, but Daniel interjected.

"Perfect idea. You're the same age and would enjoy each other's company more than ours."

"Barely same generation."Aiden corrected, and Amon's eyes dilated.

"Aiden!"

"No, Amon, I understand. I was like him when they told me- No, ordered me to marry Helen. Don't you remember how grossed out you were?" Daniel asked, amused.

"Oh, yes. Loren was bugging me, and all I wanted to do was fight. "

They both laughed, and Aiden sighed as he followed Danielle to the garden.

"Nice fountains." She chirped. Every now and then, she gawked at the gorgeous boy beside her. 'How lucky I am!'

"Yeah." But Aiden was dying inwardly.

"Can I drink from them?"

"No, unless you wanna die. Only people with void talent can. Like me."

"Oh. So you saved me!"

'Kill me.' Aiden prayed as he shut his eyes.

"Aiden, you know I have never had my first-"

Aiden raised his palm cut off Danielle as he looked out in the forest with wary written all over his perfect features.

"What happened?"

"Stay here."

"Aiden,"

"Danielle," he ordered as he glared at her, and she flinched but smiled and nodded her head.

Aiden bolted towards the forest as he felt a strong aura, the one reigning in his old room before he was murdered.

The forest was getting denser as he entered the deeper.

"I know you are here!" He shouted and widened his eyes as he felt a significant power presence.

"I'm not the one you are looking for. But I'm not bad either."

Aiden snapped his head towards the source of the voice. The man with long horns and big yellow eyes loomed from the shadows. His skin was covered with blue scales and looked disturbing.

"Who the hell are you?"

"I am the God, Aiden." He announced as he advanced. His steps were growing each passing second, "And I was sent to execute you personally."

As soon as those words left his dried mouth, he rushed towards Aiden on fours. The boy was filled with contempt and grudge as he formed an electric ball in his hands. Huh, he was training, ready to avenge his death anytime.

Aiden fired the electric orb at the monster, but it dodged, jumping on the tree causing the ball to blast the tree behind it.

Aiden created the thunder sword in time before the atrocious thing pounced at him. The boy slit him across the chest as he coughed out the blood and ran into the woods.

'Where is it?'

Aiden scanned the area for his trail, but it seemed like he had vanished. The boy gulped as the droplets of sweat travelled down on his temples. Sure, he had been exercising, but it wasn't enough! Especially against the wicked God!

Aiden heard the footsteps closing in as he turned around with thunder daggers. The God jumped at him, roaring out his desire to chew on the young lord's smooth skin.

Aiden shot him the daggers and rolled to his side with a smirk. He raised to his feet to relish in the mess he made but was taken aback when the creature vapoured in thin air. 'Clone.' He thought, dumbfounded and started searching the area for the real one, but his advances were too late as the monster attacked him from the branch above him and bit in his neck.

Aiden let out a shrill scream as he fell and let the monster chew on him as he pleased. The sounds of gobble and slurp filled the forest as the decimated body of a young lord kept thrashing in shock.

God let out a dark laugh as he threw his head back. Blood was dripping down his jaw.

He raised to his feet to gaze down on the chunk of the boy, and a vicious smirk crossed his deformed face.

But he hurried with his judgment.

As if something hit him, he realized he was too involved in his brutal ministrations to figure out that the boy's skin and blood had no taste. The terror-stricken beast lost it as he looked through the woods and then behind him.

"Pathetic," the harsh voice rang in his head before the lightning dotted his vision. Aiden formed from the sky as a thunderbolt. He had disbanded his actual self into the air and then integrated into one piece. "Thanks to your idiocy, I had the chance to master my new technique while you were chewing on nothing."

The God gazed down at the body, which vapoured in mere seconds.

"Impossible…" He stuttered, flabbergasted, speechless as the young man in front of him grasped the new skill in the fight.

The God was enveloped in the whips of thunder, and the anguish of shock waves made him holler.

He faced Aiden with desperate and panicky eyes as Aiden mirrored his figure.

"The skill of mirror. The greatest UB, in my opinion. It makes you the perfect clone of your opponent, adding 75 percent of his power."

Aiden almost lost the look of a human in his grey orbs as he grinned wickedly.

"And do you know what I've fathomed? There is a hidden technique of mirror. If you raise your power to exactly the amount your opponent possesses at the moment, you can damage him anyway by harming his mirrored clone, which right now is me."

The monster shrieked with a veined face before Aiden smiled at him.

"They have killed me before. You can never make the same mistake twice because the second time you make it, it's not a mistake. It's a choice, and I know what's my choice." Aiden took out the dagger, never leaving God's gaze. Briskly he dug it into his chest and made his thunderbolts cut the monster's tongue in cold blood to avoid his screech.

His greenish eyes were devoid of any emotion when the wide-eyed beast dropped on the ground.
