15 It is time... (2)

The day Kavira awoke the General sent a flower message to Cindy to inform her of the girl's situation. He did have a human doctor come look at her so she could feel more at ease but of course he said nothing to the doctor to explain who she was or why she was stiff. He asked the doctor only to see if she was healthy, everything checked out. After the doctor left he spent hours with Kavira trying to help her move her body and say a few basic words. The progress was slow but steady.

On the second day after she awoke, Cindy made her way into city full of joy greeting everyone she came across until the reached the General's house. "Hi there Kavira. I am Cindy Lou and I will be taking care of you for as long as you need me." Cindy strolled further into the room, Kavira was smiling at the beautiful green fairy poked her head up from sitting on the bench at the foot of her bed trying to tie the lace of the sandals around her ankle. "Do you need help?" Cindy bent down ready to help Kavira when she quickly moved her feet away.

"I can do this." A beautiful melodic sound came from the girls lips and Cindy entered a trance, she had some pride that was good. She watched as the girl tied the strings of the sandal around her ankle and calf tightly once she stood Cindy followed.

"Have you eaten yet my dear?" Cindy was glad to see the girl moving but she wasn't quite in the state she was hoping to see her in. Maybe she was lacking nutrition.

"I have. Ms. Folly brought me breakfast as soon as the sun came up. I had eggs and some toast." Cindy nodded, she was being fed so it may be that she was unmoved in a bed for five years. Kavira had slipped into her short red tunic after breakfast, now that she put her shoes on she walked over to the mirror that the General had ordered for her. She felt lovely, twirling in the tunic with a flirty smile. Her emerald eyes were unfamiliar to her as was this light auburn hair but it suited her.

"Cindy.. do you know who I am?" Cindy looked at her with a confused expression on her face. "The General says my name it Kavira but other than my name he knows nothing about me and I don't remember anything about myself."

Kavira switched her gaze from her reflection to that of Cindy's small frame on the mirror. "What do you mean you don't remember?" Cindy appeared next to the girl and took a hold of her hands, the brand of the dragon's eye was still there. She looked behind the girl trying to think of anything she had read in the ancient library but nothing came to mind.

Kavira was a bit overwhelmed by Cindy's actions after she asked her the question so she didn't immediately answer until she saw the Cindy wasn't going to let go of her any time soon. "When I woke up, General Tross helped me move and try to say things but yesterday when he started asking me questions about myself, I didn't know what to say. I don't remember anything, just that I woke up in this room two days ago."

Cindy's frown hurt Kavira's heart, she was hoping that this time someone had something more to say about her other than five years ago she appeared and defeated the dead army with some unknown magic that scared the army into retreat throughout the entire four countries.

"Where is the boy?" Cindy remembered that Clain had a bond with this girl and he never left her side, so where was he? He could be the key to this girls memory.

"The boy? You mean Clain." Throughout the time Kavira has been awake she's paid close attention to the words that the General and Ms. Folly spoke among themselves and to her. "The General says that he will be back sometime tomorrow night or the day after tomorrow. Clain was on a mission for the city and was sent as the General's right hand man to Keero."

Cindy nodded once more. Her worries of the girls memory slowly faded with hope for the boys return. She focused herself on helping the girl channel her inner energy, even without her memories this child will do amazing things. Her life's mission now was to help this girl harness her powers and use them fight the growing army of the dead.
