Into the Mountains (4)

By morning everyone other that Leena was energized and ready to finish their journey to the Dragon Elder today. Kavira was feeling lovey dovey, wrapping her arms around Linx's waist after taking him to a secluded spot away from the rest of the group.

"I miss you. How about a kiss babe?" Kavira knew that Linx wasn't afraid of displaying his affection for her in front of others but ever since Leena showed up he has been acting differently. Linx didn't push her away or argue like she expect, he leaned down to kiss her lips like he always did. He whispered into her ear a few sweet things before they made their way back to the group.

"Leena, you look a bit sleepy. Maybe Kavira can fly Lucky and you can come with me on Hip so you can get some sleep. Dalton can stay with Linx, Nyla and Lucas on Jacko. He's big enough to hold them all." Leena wasn't sure what Clain was playing at but she was a bit more exhausted than the rest. She couldn't sleep well after the events that happened last night but she never expected Clain to be so generous.

Ever since she met up with the group he had been the most on guard around her. "It's okay, I should be able to make it."

"No worries, Kavira will take care of Lucky and you'll ride with me." Clain winked in her direction startling half of the people in the group. No one had ever seen Clain be such a gentleman, it was shocking.

To Leena's liking, Lucky didn't mind being ridden by Kavira. She was kind and gentle to him.

It didn't take long before they were all in the air flying west. "Do you mind telling me what that was all about?" Leena felt the connection between him and Kavira prior to Brenda telling her but she wasn't willing to play apart in any games if he wasn't about to fully disclose himself to her.

"I just find you extremely beautiful. Is it so wrong to be kind to a lady when she's tired?" Leena wasn't buying it but she fell asleep in no time with her arms wrapped around his waist and her head against his strong broad shoulders.

"The compass is spinning, does it mean that the entrance to the cave is right under us?" Clain wasn't sure what it meant but he gave the others an order to drop down along with him and Leena.

"What now? I don't see any kind of entrance." Nyla was sure that she didn't see a door or a cave, why had they dropped down?

Leena wasn't all that surprised but she knew that Kavira saw the door as well. The doors reached the tip of the mountain, it had a seal of two dragons back to back breathing fire. "There is a door. I don't believe that anyone can see it other than Leena and myself." Kavira stepped closer to the door to the left and Leena moved in to the door on the right. "Ready?"

Leena nodded. These doors were grand and looked heavy but as she and Kavira started pushing, they were weightless. The girls heard gasp coming from behind them, the group was surprised to see such an opening on these burned mountains. It was almost like these girls parted the entire mountain rage past this mountain. The inside of the cave was dark, a few torch lights here and there on uncoordinated columns throughout the room. Leena and Clain produced fire at the same time, taking a quick glance at each other before smiling.

Kavira slipped her hand into Linx's intertwining them together. She produced fire on her other hand to follow the crowd moving forward.

The moment of truth is finally coming...

Looks like Amira couldn't stop you Leena!
