12 5 Years Ago in The Lost Realm (2)

After the battle field was cleared of the dead army the little girl opened her eyes and turned to the young warrior. "Remember me." Those words flowed through her lips with conviction before herer little body collapsed.

The soldiers had all gathered around her, one by one whispers began of their theories as to who she was. Some believed she was the leader of the dead army and others believed she was a good pixie but it was all empty words to the young warrior who had witnessed it all, this little girls greatness. "Young man, do you know who she is?"

The young warrior was cradling her delicate body in his arms, protecting her. He didn't know her but he knew she wasn't dead, maybe just fainted. He shook his head to the middle aged man that appeared before him, General Tross, a fierce werewolf that was loyal to the family that governs the Dark City, the Fei family. "I don't know who she is but she saved me from death and then she... she saved all of use."

Gerneral Tross ran his hand over his beard trying to think on a justification, on a solution to what he just witnessed. "What is your name boy?" The general remained standing over the two bodies on the floor but his warm brown eyes weren't in any way intimidating, he felt indebted to this little girl. He realized this young man would remain her guardian he couldn't just rid himself of him so he decided to take him under his wing.

"My name is Clain, sir." The young warrior remained cradling the little girl hoping that the general wouldn't try to take her away from him. He was just a true warrior, he didn't have the capabilities of most creatures and he was far too young.

To his surprise, the General bent on one knee and looked directly into Clain's honey eyes. "Well Clain, how about you come to my house. We will find a guest room for you both and I'll have a doctor come take a look at her. Does that sound good?" Clain and all the soldiers withing hearing distance were all stunned. General Tross was known for being a very private person, why was he giving this unknown fainted entity any kind of help? For all they knew she might try to kill them after she awakens.

"Why bring me along sir?" Clain was simply exercising his precaution. He was a orphan, homeless boy before he join the Dark City army where they offered him a room with seven other people and meals twice a day.

"She trusted you to tell you to remember her. I don't believe she's dead but I do believe you might have some odd connection with her." Clain nodded and understood, she did save him and reach out to him, with all the people around she chose him.

He allowed the General to carry the little girl through the crowd of soldiers and deeper into the city until they arrived at the General's residence. "I will have a fairy come at once." He said placing the little girl in a room just on the opposite side of the hall where Clain's room would be.

"Why not just a doctor? She doesn't look like any creature I've ever seen." Fairies were a long ways north in the Blessed Forrest, two day flight on a cockatrice. Doctor's were always best to treat human wound's since fairies rarely left their peaceful Forrest to join the outside cities.

"She's human but I have never seen a human like this before, it's best to have a fairy take a look at her to give us a more accurate description of what kind of phenomenon this is." General Tross felt the little girls cold body begin to stiffen even more as he laid her on the guest rooms bed. "Run to the maid in the kitchen. Tell her to give you warm blankets. Her body is getting cold."

Without wasting another second, Clain ran out and followed the steps back from which he came.

The General was finally alone with the little girl, he had kept his eye on the pendant hanging around her neck and just as he touched it it brought a terrible pain to the tip of his middle finger. His eyes widened immensely with fear. "What are you?"
