36 Khinzir the Butcher (1)

Abel stormed into Delphi quickly passing all the villagers as he went to the dungeon, which was just outside Delphi on the other side from where he came from.

"Why don't we enter the God Space now?" Mary asked Abel as she patted his shoulder to get his attention.

Abel froze for a second before turning and kissing Mary in excitement "You are a genius!".

They quickly entered inside and left the horse in the town, which would be put away once someone saw it wandering around.

They entered inside and the first thing they saw was that on the monitor an adventurer team was walking through a forest killing snakes as they walked through carelessly.

Abel frowned and said, "We need to add more defenses as soon as possible, I will start now, because they are easily killing those snakes I added, and I'm afraid they will kill the orcs also."

Abel opened the shop and began purchasing defenses in order to secure his protection.

He bought four more floors, making the dungeon much deeper and harder to travel. He moved the domain heart to the fifth floor and put it behind a locked door.

The door was only able to be unlocked once you kill the boss monster in the previous room.

The previous room had a giant pig-faced monster with pink skin and a pot belly. It had a giant cleaver and a meat hook strapped to its waist. Its name was Khinzir the Butcher and cost Abel quite a pretty penny in order to have a strong boss monster defending his domain heart.

He also outfitted all the rest of the floors one through five to have the same look at the first with forest vibes, and artificial sunlight. He wanted his dungeon to be uniform like it is in novels or video games.

He did not know if most people made theirs like this, but he felt the need to due to the experiences he had in his past life.

Abel also purchased a lot of other monsters and sprinkled them about the floors, so they could also defend the dungeon.

He even purchased a goblin spawner, because he did not have enough for an Orc spawner so that he would no longer have to buy more goblins. Although they were not a very powerful fighting force, they still helped in times of need, like when they needed cannon fodder.

Abel stopped purchasing items for the moment and positioned the screen to watch one of the adventurer groups already inside the dungeon killing his monsters.

"HaHaHa! Look at this Jonavin!" a man smirked as he picked up a decent sized crystal from the drop of a monster. They had just teamed together in order to take down an Orc, and the profits looked good for them.

"That monster core looks like it will sell for a lot!" Jonavin smiled as he reached to grab it. The man said, "Nuh Uh Uh!" As he began teasing him moving the monster core before he could grab it.

"Piss off David! Just hand it to me so we can start hunting more!" Jonavin said irritatedly.

David nodded and gave him the core before the two started walking again deeper into the dungeon.

"This dungeon is so easy, there is not anything remotely threatening besides those Orcs," David said as he slashed at a snake that fell from a tree.

"Don't get complacent, if you are bitten by one of those snakes you will be poisoned, and might get seriously ill, if not die" Jonavin reproached him.

David sighed as he said "Yeah, yeah. Such a worry wart."

At this time they heard an ear deafening roar and the felt the faint smell of blood. At the same time, the screams of what sounded like humans were cut short, for was sounded to be, forever. The walls shook as the roar reverberated through the dungeon.

The two gulped as they looked at each other and Jonavin's legs shook as he said, "Let's report this, there seems to be an extremely dangerous monster in the dungeon. I don't think just the two of us will be able to handle whatever made that noise. We need to hurry back."

"Well let's go see what it is! We need to give information on it in order to get money!" David said as he began walking towards the sound.

The two were currently on the fourth floor, and David guessed the sound he heart was from the fifth.

"NO! That's dangerous!" Jonavin said worriedly.

"Shut Up! There hasn't been anything dangerous at all in this dungeon so far, so what do you expect to be down there that is so deadly!" David rebuked him.

Jonavin was still worried, and David said "This was a quest for F-Rank adventurers! If there was really something that deadly we would not be the ones sent here! And we don't even have to fight the monster if you don't want to, we can just take a peek before we leave, so that we can make the money!" David began walking towards the noise not caring whether or not Jonavin would follow him.

Jonavin looked back and forth between David's shrinking figure and the way to the exit before he finally sighed and hurriedly ran after David so he could catch up.

Hearing his footsteps David turned and laughed as he said "I knew you would come around soon enough! Now let's go get us some money!"

The two walked to the roar they heard earlier, although one of them was more reluctant than the other they both walked with determination. It was odd what one would do for greed. Animals die for food, while humans die for greed.
