Mutant Red Ants

Luke looked around himself curiously with his glowing eyes as he turned from left to right.

He had appeared in a large cave. Blue crystals lit up the cave, while the glowing azure platform on which Luke stood on was completely glass-like, looking very fragile.

"Well, I just hope the floor won't give during a fight." Luke said before swiftly keeping the two crystals: <Revival> and <Return>aside. He didn't want to subconsciously use them during an interesting battle.

[Enemy Intellect - Low]

Luke advanced stealthily with <Dark Sabre> fully revealed in his grasp. His eyes flashed from side to side in search of any 'clues' on the nests.

As he took another step forward, the cave trembled as loud buzzing sounds were heard.

Luke cautiously took a step back before using <Far Sight> to look further into the cave. Luke's heart turned cold as his eyes which was radiating in a red glow locked on the swarm of flying insects coming towards him.

Ding!

[Enemy nature - Aggressive]

"Oh come on! What in heavens name are those things doing in here?" Luke voiced his complaints as he glared at the frightening amount of monsters rushing at him.

<Advanced Beasts - Mutated Red Ants>!

These guys were a very frightening enemy to face solo. They had incredible defensive and offensive abilities while having an innate aggressive nature which coupled with their low Intelligence, making them a wild tank when on their own. These <Mutant Red Ant>s had already evolved into <Mutant Red-Winged Ant>s which had awakened the <Basic Flight> ability.

Luke wasn't scared because of his own safety, but was more concerned for <Dark Sabre>. Those ants could easily chomp on a bag of steel not to mention <Dark Sabre> which was a sword made to just contain Luke's explosive energy and not to counter powerful enemies like the <Mutant Red-Winged Ant>.

Luke coldly stared at the notifications before silently looking straight to the winged-ants flying at full speed towards him. Their red wings flapped crazily as they came even more closer to the defenceless human.

'Food~!'

With a clean slash, various ants were instantly beheaded while their severed heads where immediately sent crashing on to the glass floor. Luke coldly snorts as his body flickered before a dozen more ants also lost their heads to his sword.

Luke ruthlessly continued his killing spree, silently pouncing on an unsuspecting target and delivering a mortal blow before dashing towards another opponent. He continued swinging his blade like a mad-man, not letting a single enemy escape.

In some minutes the area was clear of monsters, while only Luke remained. He was hunched over, placing his hands on his knees and heavily panting and gasping for air.

'My level window.' Luke thought as a series of screens appeared before him almost instantly.

'Is getting the active inspection skill really worth it?'

Luke hesitated before making up his mind. He instantly used up all his garnered experience points on levelling up. Immediately he did that, Luke suddenly felt a huge influx of warm soothing energy rise up within him.

Luke sighed after getting accustomed to the new level of power he just stepped on...

The peak of elves his age! He was definitely qualified to become one of the greatest powerhouses able to threaten the existence of <The Dragon God>.

Luke fanatically dashed forward before crazily swinging his sword downward, crushing the headless bodies of <Mutant Red-Winged Ant>s under his internal energy into minced meat.

Luke nearly roared in excitement as he frantically searched for the nests. He only took a few steps forward before spotting another entrance which might lead to a hidden area.

"If I meet anything on the king level, I'll immediately disappear, there's absolutely no need to risk my life playing superhero. Even though I'm nearly invincible to normal creatures, a king tier monster is definitely out of my league.

Stepping through the entrance and into the other side, Luke suddenly felt a chill run down his spine. He immediately looked ahead, before subconsciously gasping in shock.

Before him was a tall skyscraper with a huge swirling red portal at the top. Luke faintly sensed a strong metallic smell from within the building as he took steps towards it cautiously.

Walking into the skyscraper through the wide open door, Luke stood for a moment before immediately activating <Eyes Of Chaos>. Luke squints his eyes which were faintly lit up in a purple light and took a few steps forward before tilting his head to the side.

Two rocks grazed his face, leaving bloody long gashes before finally crashing into a wall behind Luke.

"That was unexpected... finding a demon in a blue cave. One with Intelligence. Why am I suddenly regretting letting Venice live?" Luke said as instantly he felt wronged. He hadn't dealt with Venice because he was too lazy to kill any more people that day, and this was how she paid him?

Wasn't the Fae known for their unwavering honour and dignity?

"That frightened mass of delicious flesh was scared shitless by your amazing prowess. Well, so would I be if not for my amazing ability."

Luke suddenly felt danger around him as he immediately locked his eyes on the demon before him.

The feminine demon who had bright red eyes and menacing large horns coldly stared at Luke with a devilish aura emanating from her soul. Her blazing gold locks swayed in the wind as she stretched out her hands before chanting in <Ancient Demonic> under her breath.

Luke suddenly felt like strangling the woman after finally discovering her purpose.

Immediately after the demon finished chanting, buzzing sounds resounded across the room. Luke anxiously tightened his grip on his sword as he unhesitatingly dashed forward.

Sword Techniques — Killing Dancer!

Before the <Mutant Ants> could even balance themselves, they were torn in halves by the sharp steel of <Dark Sabre>.

"No matter what, Madonna will surely kill you today!" Madonna the female demon roared before pointing lazily at Luke, "Kill that long eared idiot."

Luke suddenly exploded.
