I dragged her with the bit of strength I persevered. "I didn't even eat yet! Well, at least the water refreshed my cells, but How did this cute girl turn into a massive beast?"

Maku dragged her till they finally reached the cave, and he put her onto the leaf bed; he checked her breathing; she was slowly but steadily breathing, he sighted a breath of relief, "At least I managed to save her life," what he didn't know is that he was the initial cause of her disaster, after he played with the rocks beside the waterfall.

Maku licked his lips and got up; he finally can enjoy some roasted bear meat; he set up the fire and had a hard time cutting even the weakest bear in the group; after all, it was nearly impossible for him to wound the big bearskin even if he had a samurai sword. But because of his rough life in the village, Maku was very crafty when it comes to preparing for the worst-case scenario; he always had a multitool in his pocket; he grabbed the mini knife and started cutting the weak parts of the smallest bear meat.

A delicious smell filled the cave; Maku didn't care about salt or any seasoning; all he cared about now is filling his starving belly with food.

The girl smelled the wonderful aroma and made a voice; Maku was busy stuffing his mouth with food but still heard her groans. He stood up, grabbed some meat, and put it in the girl's mouth; she hesitantly shook her head, but Maku didn't let her any room for rejecting; she ate the piece of meat, Maku waited till she completely swallowed the piece before happily going back to his place, all the girl saw with her blackened gaze is an object daring her to eat.

The day went on just like that; Maku slept on the comfortable dead bear corpse. While The girl's injuries seem like they were gradually healing without any assistant, "As expected of a damn black panther." Maku Exclaimed.

The girl opened her eyes in the morning and found the boy who saved her life looking at her face, she was puzzled {Who is this guy? And why is he staring at me with that heated look?}, Maku was just wondering how can a girl turn into a black panther; he always wanted to obtain a superpower like this; he saw the puzzled girl look and said, "How can you turn your body like that?" he was hoping his language is the same at this world too.

"Turn my body?" the girl replied; for some reason, this stranger had an imposing weird accent, paired with his straightforwardness made her subconsciously answer.

"I mean the black panther, was it summoned, or was it you?"

"I'm from the black panther tribe; our kind natural form is a black panther."

"Ah! Damn! By the way, What's Your name?" Maku asked.

"Name?" Anika wondered why this kid wants ber name for, but she still respectably answered him. After all, he was the one who saved her life."We only allowed to give our names to the tribe members."

"What? Oh! Is it some kind of secret organization? Hmm, I see! No wonder."

"Well, I go fetch some water; you seem like you have a long way before you can walk!" Maku went to the waterfall again, but this time he wad scared senseless, "This cursed jungle is filled with massive beasts! How can I survive here? Become god, my ass! My little life is already in danger!"

He went back, holding some water in a giant leaf; he got close to the girl and tried to help her drink, but she strongly disagreed; he noticed some black ears hanging on top of her head, he looked at them for a long time, He couldn't clear the growing itch to touch them, so he got even closer and grabbed her ears, the girl was shocked, her face entirely crumbled, {What is he doing? Doesn't he know that touching a black panther ears is the most intimate action someone can make? Why? Is this bastard trying to court me?}
