1 THE NEW KID

In a small dojo under a house, a young man with a red headband named Lee Han is taking a fighting stance, while his body emanates blue aura. As he is focusing intensely, he senses someone behind him. He then quickly blocks a head kick thrown from behind. The young man takes his headphones out and turns around and sees his mother, Mai Han, folding her arms at him.

"I've been calling you for five minutes, Lee. Breakfast is ready, hurry it up you'll be late for your first day of school." She tells him.

Lee rubs the back of his head and grins.

"Sorry mom, I guess I had my music too loud." He says while chuckling.

Lee's mom sighs, then smiles at her son. She then puts her fist against his chest.

"Go take a shower, then come up stairs and eat."

Lee smiles.

"Will do."

As Lee leaves the room, Mai gets a worried look on her face. She stares at where her son was standing, feeling some of his energy left behind in that spot.

"He's getting stronger." She says to herself.

A few minutes later, Lee's grandfather, Jin Sihyeon is sitting at the table eating breakfast. Lee slowly walks into the room, trying to sneak up on him. As he gets close behind him, he prepares to scare him.

"Nice try, Lee, you almost had me that time." Jin says as he sips his tea.

Lee gets a little disappointed.

"How do you keep doing that, I lowered my Ki." Lee asks, sitting down with him.

His grandfather chuckles.

"You still haven't fully mastered that ability yet. Just a bit more practice and you'll get the hang of it."

Lee nods.

"Right."

Jin then notices Lee wearing his red headband and smiles.

"You look more like your father everyday."

Lee is caught off guard by this and started blushing while rubbing the back of his head and grinning.

"Thanks grandpa."

They then hear Mai yelling.

"HURRY UP AND FINISH YOUR FOOD AND GET YOUR BUTT TO SCHOOL!" She yells, causing both Lee's and Jin's face turn blue.

"Lee, make sure you don't marry anyone like your mother." Jin tells his grandson.

"WHAT WAS THAT, DAD!?" Mai yells.

"Uh, nothing sweet heart, breakfast is wonderful."

Jin then quickly shovels food into his mouth while Lee laughs.

After that, Mai and Jin see Lee off as he walks to school, waving bye to the both. Jin then notices a worried look on his daughters face.

"What is it, Mai?"

Mai doesn't answer for a moment.

"Are you sure this is the right call? What if someone figures out and word gets back to them?" She asks.

The old man smirks.

"Mai, stop worrying. We both know the power that boy has inside of him, that's my I sealed it off so he wouldn't be sensed by the Celestial Emperor. Now he can go to school, live a normal life. And maybe even do some good along the way."

As the old man walks away, Mai still stands there, looking up at the sky.

"What would you do if you were here...my love?" She asks.

Meanwhile, Lee is walking down the sidewalk to school while listening to music. As he walks, a mystery man in a black suit and glasses watches him from a distance. At that moment, a little girl runs into the street after a red ball, right infront of a moving car.

"Sarah!" The mother screams.

Lee sees this and in a blink of an eye, picks up the child and moves her out of the way of the car and back beside her mom. Lee then smiles at the little girl.

"That was close, are you ok?"

The little girl smiles back, feeling warm just by looking at his smile. Lee rubs her head.

"That's good. You should be more careful next time."

He then reveals the red ball behind his back, surprising the little girl and making her happy. Her mother then hugs daughter with tears in her eyes, causing Lee to smile even more. At that moment, the young man senses something and quickly turns around to where the mystery man was standing, but sees no one. Lee can't help but feel uneasy, sure that he sensed someone but snaps out of it when the mom approaches him.

"Thank you so much for saving my daughter."

"Oh its no problem, ma'am. Glad I could help."

The mother and daughter leaves, waving bye to Lee. Lee waves back, but still can't help but feel like someone was there, watching him but continues walking to school. Meanwhile, the mystery man is hiding behind an alley, smoking a cigarette. He then blows out smoke and smiles.

"Kids just like his old man." He says.

Later at the school, three students( one girl with white hair named Kira Takeda, Another girl with black hair and a blue strip in it named Tai Wu , and a nerdy kid with glasses named Mikey Yu) all sit together in class.

"Hey, I heard we're getting a new student today." Tai says.

At that moment, one of the strongest students in school named Gisu kim throws a paper ball at Mikey head, laughing with his friends.

"Hopefully whoever it is, isn't a total dick like Gisu Kim." Kira says.

"Yeah, you said it." Mikey replies.

At that moment, Lee walks into the classroom. As he stands infront of the class and smiles, a lot of his female classmates swoon at the sight of his face, thinking that he's good-looking, while some of the male students are jealous.

"Everyone, this is Lee Han."

"Hi, it's nice to meet you all."

One girl, with short red hair takes notice of Lee, sensing how strong he is. Gisu Kim and his friends also sense Lee's strength, but aren't worried at all.

"Wow, he's cute." A female student says with a sparkle in her eyes.

Gisu Kim scoffs at the sight of Lee.

"This guys nothing special. And what the hells up with that stupid headband." He says to himself.

"He seems pretty nice." Tai says.

Mikey agrees as Kira stares at Lee.

"Mr. Han, why don't you take your seat in the back next to Seokju Sin."

Lee looks at the back and sees Seokju who is snoring. Lee chuckles then starts to walk to the back of the class. As he walks, he makes eye contact with Kira and smiles at her, causing her to blush and look away, brushing her behind her ear. Lee makes it to his seat, while Seokju wakes up and looks over at Lee.

"Hey, I don't remember seeing you around here. Who are you supposed to be?"

Lee chuckles, rubbing the back of his head.

"I guess you were asleep when I came in. I'm Lee Han."

Seokju looks on at Lee for a moment then smirks.

"I can tell just by looking at ya. You're pretty strong."

Lee smirks back at him.

"Funny. I was gonna say the same to you."

The two young men stare at each other for a moment, both of them thinking about a fight with the other. Seokju then offers his fist to Lee.

"Lee Han, huh? The names Seokju Sin, nice to meet ya."

Lee smiles and bumps his fist.

"Likewise." He says.
