Phantom God

In a large room, sounds of mouse clicks, and keyboard keys being pressed can be heard.

The room was pretty extravagant. It had a sofa, a large bed, an aircon, a gamers' dream computer, a fancy table, and gaming chair, and a flat screen television. It was a gamers' paradise. There's a bookshelf by the side of the fancy bed. In it were countless games on Playstation, Xbox, and many different games. The owner of this room actually had a large collection of games on different consoles.

Meanwhile, the computer was extremely flashy. It had a gaming keyboard, mouse, and headset. There's also three screens, and each is used on this single computer. The screens were also extremely high class, and was definitely a gamer's dream. The CPU had a flashy case, and looked extremely badass. All in all, this computer was a hardcore gamer's dream.

The television was 50 inches, and had many different consoles underneath it. It was a smart television.

On the screen, a League of Legends match could be seen. And surprisingly, the ping was 9 ms, and the fps was 200! A ping and frame rate not usually seen in the Philippines!

"Goodness. Idiotic teammates will be the end of me." The youth cursed under his breath.

The young man's voice was pretty deep, but within it was very pleasing to the ears.

The youth has curly hair, and is a pretty boy; He is pretty tall, his body looked pretty muscular, and he has a devilish face. He has black eyes that when you look at may seem normal, but if you stare at it long enough, those eyes will become an enigma, and may seem like it contain a hint of the universe. His hands were pretty slender, and was like a girl's hands, and looked clean as heck. This youth was Daniel Rodrigo.

Daniel's eyes were reflecting the League of Legends match that he was currently playing on.

His character was currently participating on a clash (1).

It seemed like Daniel's champion was Master Yi (2).

In the game, Master Yi's health was very low, and was under a turret. Meanwhile, Daniel's teammates, a Fizz, a Zed, a Janna, and a Lucian, were participating on a 4v5 clash.

On the other team, there were Zoe, Wukong, Riven, Vi, and Vayne.

"Why don't they escape!?" Daniel asked a rhetorical question that was full of rage. "Too idiotic."

Daniel closed his eyes for a second, before reopening it. His face, that was previously full of furor, suddenly transformed into a tranquil, and calm one. His devilish face, became even more handsome when he became calm. One can see the coldness emitting from him, and one can also feel the high concentration emitting from Daniel.

He entered the "zone."

...

Daniel's mind was currently working at a very fast speed, and no humans can emulate this kind of speed. It can be said that Daniel's mind is superhuman, and, currently, his analyzation, and thinking speed shot through the roof.

Master Yi stopped meditating, and joined the clash. All his allies' health were low, whilst almost all of his opponents' health were still half health.

Finally, Daniel's team tried to escape.

Meanwhile, Master Yi (Daniel's current character) activated Highlander (3) and went to the opposite direction that his team are going.

The players behind Daniel's current team were cursing Master Yi, and the player behind it under their breath.

Master Yi only had 3/4 of his health, and was an assassin. Wasn't Master Yi's attempt like a man going against a train?

Master Yi's team only cursed the player behind it, and still ran away.

On the other hand, the opposite team was smiling, thinking to themselves that they just got a free kill. However, what happened next shocked them to the core.

Master Yi and the opposing team clashed. Daniel pressed Q to alpha strike, his target? His target was Zoe, who was idiotic enough to get close to Master Yi because of underestimation.

Daniel was expressionless doing all of these.

After alpha strike ended, the half health Zoe was surprised to see her health being halved again. And as Master Yi had pretty high kills, and his attack speed was fast enough, and his damage was high enough, Zoe died almost in the span of a single breath.

The four remaining players cursed, however, they still tried their best. The four made a joint attack on Master Yi.

Meanwhile, as Master Yi already achieved 40% cooldown reduction (4), he meditated, reducing all damage incoming to him.

Master Yi once again suddenly disappeared, and the next target? It was Wukong.

The player that was controlling Wukong actually panicked, and made a minor mistake. No, actually, it was not a minor mistake, it was a very grave mistake.

Wukong used W and flashed (5) away, he was revealed because Alpha Strike's effect grants vision of the enemy. Why was this a mistake? Because Wukong just took away Master Yi from his teammates.

In a while, Wukong was killed as well.

Daniel's hands were extremely fast, and his mind was working at an even faster rate. His mouse clicks are very on point, and doesn't miss its target.

On the screen, it displayed "Triple Kill." (6)

Daniel actually targeted Vayne next. It was a very easy kill, as his damage was so high, and Alpha Strike has a +100% Attack Damage on it. Vayne's health was actually decimated in an instant, and it only took two hits.

After that, Vi and Riven are the only ones left. And Master Yi's health was actually still half.

Of course, Daniel was not idiotic, and instantly ran away. It was already good enough to kill three players. That's what he wanted the players to think. Actually, Daniel was just waiting the cooldown on his W, Meditate, which is at 10 seconds.

The two tried to chase Master Yi, but as Master Yi's Highlander is still on and couldn't chase him down.

Riven's and Vi's Ultimates were already worn down while on the clash, meanwhile, Master Yi's W is at 5 seconds cooldown.

The two gave up the chase, but suddenly, Master Yi turned back and used Alpha Strike!

Its target? Riven.

The players controlling Riven and Vi was couldn't react in time, and they cursed at the fact that their flashes were still on cooldown.

Master Yi appeared beside Riven. Riven tried to dash away, but Master Yi changed its target to Vi.

Riven turned back as well, and used three consecutive Qs, making Master Yi in a state of "Airborne."

Daniel did not panic at his quickly diminishing health bar, as the two of them only has currently 1/4 of their health.

Daniel used W the moment Master Yi landed. He was waiting for Alpha Strike's cooldown.

The two opponents were trying their best to kill Master Yi, but to no avail. The damage reduction is too OP.

The moment Alpha Strike cooled down, Daniel executed it, and its target was Riven. Riven was killed, and Vi was left with 100 hp. It only took one hit from Master Yi before Vi was killed.

"Pentakill" was displayed on the monitor of Daniel, followed by an "Ace".

Daniel's team and the opposing team were shocked beyond words. The skill of the Master Yi player was too shocking! That shouldn't have been possible, but it happened right in front of their eyes.

Then suddenly, they saw the name of the Master Yi player.

It was "Phantom God."

They shivered because they knew this name. It was actually currently resounding all throughout the world.

Phantom God is a legendary in-game name that appears in many games. All hardcore gamers know of this name, and is frightened when it's heard. Phantom God is a figure adored by many, he was a very skilled genius in gaming.

In the Philippine Server of LoL, the name "Phantom God" is at the very peak of Challenger, with 10,000 LP. The surprising thing is that Phantom God actually had 100% win rate, at almost 5,000 games.

This is what you call a true addict of gaming, and a true monster. The Phantom God actually hasn't lost yet in his history of playing LoL!

And the surprising thing is that each game, this Phantom God have over 20 kills, no exception, and at most, only 2 deaths!

What kind of monster was that!?

And now, they were actually pentakilled by such a god? They wouldn't complain of course, as it is just expected.

After that, the game was finished by Daniel alone. Destroying the enemy team's nexus.

...

"Goodness, truly idiotic teammates. They don't have trust in me." After the game, Daniel took off his headphones, and marveled at the fact that his teammates are idiotic, and didn't have trust in him although his ganks were perfect, his farming was perfect, and the fact that he only died two times in this game, and that was because of towers.

"This will be the death of me. I should form my own team of actually good players, anytime soon."

Daniel was a Master Yi main, and a jungle main. For some reason, he was extremely fond of Master Yi. Was it because he played Master Yi since time immemorial? And was the first champion he ever played? Well, of course that was it.

Daniel's Mastery score on Master Yi was over 300,000. And his second main, Jax, had over 200,000 mastery score. His third main, Tryndamere, has a Mastery Score not lesser than his second main.

However, over the 5,000 games he played, he has mastered so many champions. He can play any position, and any champ with ease, and can still win with only, at most, two deaths.

This is what you call a real genius of gaming is.

The sad fact though, is that nobody knows that Daniel is the "Phantom God."

...

Daniel switched on his tv, and quickly switched it to a channel about gaming.

"Finally!" Daniel cried out as he was watching the news about gaming.

For months, he was waiting on a game called "Heaven's Road."

Footnotes for those who don't play these types of games:

1. Clash - The term on League of Legends for 5v5.

2. Master Yi - Champion on League of Legends, as for the others, like Vi, Zoe, and Yasuo, and every name mentioned on Daniel's and the opposing team are all champions on League of Legends.

3. A technique of Master Yi, along with Alpha Strike, and Meditate. As for the third skill, Wuju Style, of course Daniel activated it, I just didn't mention it as it was just a trivial matter.

4. Cooldown Reduction - AKA as CDR, is a time reduction for the skills to use.

5. Flash - A spell on League of Legends that allows one to blink a small distance. Can be used for escaping, or for offense.

6. Triple Kill - Along with Double Kill, Quadra Kill, and Pentakill, are terms for two, three, four, and five consecutive kills in a certain span of time. I heard that there's also a legendary Ultra Kill, or Hexakill and Heptakill, but I haven't actually seen something like that.

Any other questions? Ask away in the comments section, there might be some random dude who would answer your question, or me who would answer the question.

As for the 1v5 scene on this chapter, I don't know if it's actually possible, but this is after all fiction, so don't be triggered if it's inaccurate or something. Actually, I have done something similar to this, but only got to Quadra kill before dying, so yeah. And also, that was low ELO (A method for calculating a player's relative skill level, i.e, bronze, silver, and gold players), while this fight was high ELO (Platinum, Diamond, Master, and Challenger).
