Experience of a True God

[ Cultivation Manual #1 ]

"What the hell kind of name is that!?" Aloph yelled in despair towards the name before quickly covering his mouth. His blunder of yelling out loud might've been heard by his 'parents'! Aloph waited a bit to see if his 'parents' would arrive and thankfully they didn't. Aloph then continued reading the personalized manual.

If he had to use one word to describe this manual, he'd use "Garbage!". Sure it focused on his strong suits, but it wasn't anything grand or amazing! He could've just as easily found a cultivation manual like this one in some garbage can used by a cultivator!

"I want a refund!" Aloph said aloud with some volume to it, though not loud enough to be heard by others outside the room.

[Ding! No refunds allowed. However, you could go back to the void if you're unsatisfied with your time being alive.]

Aloph was instantly on the ground kowtowing to no one.

"No, no! I'm very satisfied, System-san! I'm very happy with being alive again. Though..." Aloph paused for a brief moment, praying the system didn't reprimand him again.

"The manual is somewhat...lacking. Isn't it a little bland for someone with the title "God of Exp"? Wouldn't it be better to have something suitable for someone with that title?"

[Ding! You are correct in saying this, System will refund the Exp used to buy the personalized Cultivation manual.]

Aloph instantly spat out some blood onto the floor in anger. 'Didn't you just say you wouldn't do that?!'

Anger aside, he was relieved. He would get the exp he used to buy the manual and he might even get a better manual. Sitting upright and waiting for the system to respond, he was greeted with a message, two minutes later.

[Ding! 3 Exp has been refunded. Also, a new personalized manual has been created for viewing only. Please read the manual below.]

Once again, Aloph coughed up some blood. His blood covering the sheets of his bed.

Looking at the bloodstains on his bedsheet, Aloph was just stunned. He had never seen a manual like this. It was in one line. Complimenting each other. All the other manuals he's seen were just called "Paths" and would focus on one thing, like attacking or defending and then converge into one. How long had it been since his sect was destroyed, one hundred, thousand or ten thousand years maybe?

"No matter. I'll be spending some time gaining Exp to unlock it, so I'll need to find a good spot to grind. The forest could be a good one, except for the lack of stronger opponents. That Spirit wolf was strong, but I only lost due to its untimely arrival and my lack of being able to hurt it in any meaningful way. I'll have my revenge against it one day, but not now. Any techniques I can pull out my memory wouldn't be usable since I haven't even started cultivation."

Aloph then clenched his hand into a fist, creating a cracking sound. "My trump card is currently my [Body Strengthing Technique] which will catch people off guard. Maybe I could pretend to be captured by ordinary bandits and then when their backs are turned, create a bunch of Spears and throw them at their heads! If the spears without the technique could almost go through a tree with a child's strength then I can't wait to see how strong it is with the technique!"

Aloph looked towards the ceiling with a smile and proclaimed towards himself!

"Yes, this shall be the plan. Pretend to be a measly child, get captured by bandits and then kill them all when they're not looking. Yes, quite a good plan, me... ahah."

Aloph then proceeded to laugh to himself. If anyone was listening to him laughing they'd think he was insane.

Suddenly, around the world, bandits everywhere felt a shiver down their spine.

But for now, I'd better rest up. I still need to convince my 'parents' a bit more tomorrow and only then will I be able to start my journey of cultivation!

Aloph thought to himself as he laid down in bed and pulled the covers over himself, closed his eyes and slowly fell asleep.

The next day Aloph was awoken by a loud noise.

"Hm? What's going on?"

Aloph asked, hoping for an answer. When he didn't receive one he just closed his eyes, hoping to fall back asleep. However, he once again heard a loud noise, and it was a woman's scream! Almost Instantly, Aloph jumped out of his bed, which caused him to hit his head on the roof that was only a few feet above his bed. Ignoring the pain he rushed out of his room and out of the house. To his horror, he saw bandits raiding the village!

Flames of anger filled Aloph's Eyes as he remembered the reason for his death. The Shameless Sect destroyed his village during a festival. It was also a festival of peace no less! This village did nothing wrong to these people and yet here they were! Raiding the village for its wealth.

"I'll kill them all!" Aloph proclaimed as he grabbed a chair, broke off one of its legs and thankfully found a rock by the furnace. He opened the crafting menu and clicked on Rudimentary Spear, instantly a spear appeared within his hand.

"You're all dead!"
