Earning Exp is easy!

Entirely unaware of the situation his revival caused, Aloph was busy looking for prey to hunt. With only 20 exp needed to level up, he ventured further into the forest with a thirst for Exp! Aloph held the system crafted in his hand, ready to use at a moment's notice. Suddenly, as he was walking, he heard a small crack from in front of him. He quickly crouched down and waited for further noise. After waiting for a brief moment he saw a small brown rabbit come hopping across the forest floor. It was quite cute, but cuteness couldn't stop his thirst for exp!

He slowly stood up, readied his spear and threw! The spear tore through the air with great speeds until piercing the rabbit in the neck, ending it swiftly. He might've wanted Exp, but that didn't mean he left his morals behind him. Everything he killed would be in a swift manner, no suffering. As he walked over to the body of the rabbit he was alerted by the system.

[Ding! Small Brown Forest Rabbit killed! You gained one Exp!]

One exp? Oh, great. He would need to kill 19 of these rabbits! Only God knew how long that'd take! With a disgruntled expression, he kneeled beside the corpse of the rabbit and pulled the spear out of its body. Only when he pulled out the spear did he realize something. The system said 'Small' and yet this rabbit was the size of his torso! What the hell! If this is small, what was big? This forest might just be the Forest of Doom after all! Suddenly, a growl sounded from his stomach. With a blush, Aloph said to himself; "I was so caught up in getting Exp that I forgot to eat! This system just might get me killed before something else does! I wonder how this rabbit tastes?" Just as he was about to skin the rabbit for its meat he realized he didn't have a knife to do so!

He took a step back from the rabbit and looked around for a bit before locating some rocks and sticks. He walked over to the sticks and rocks and sat down. He closed his eyes for a brief moment to remember how he should go about making a knife. After a minute of trying to remember, he finally knew how to do it and immediately started work.

First, he got his system crafted spear, positioned it above a somewhat large rock and pushed down with all his might. To his surprise, the rock broke in half, producing a rock with a sharp edge. Good going spear. He was starting to love this system crafted spear, it was quite useful! Then he broke off the tip and threw away the remains. He used the sharp tip of the spear to slowly work away at the rock, producing a somewhat knife-like shape. He then grabbed a nearby stick and some resin he had collected from a tree. He put the knife-rock on the stick and poured resin on top of it. The resin slowly hardened, and after a while, a knife was created!

The system responded to this creation with a reward!

[Ding! You have crafted [Rudimentary Knife]! 5 Exp earned!]

Awesome! 14 Exp to go! He then accessed the crafting menu the instantly crafted a Rudimentary Knife. It's look and way it was made 100x better than his. He threw away his own knife and walked back over to the rabbit! This entire crafting process took about 30 minutes! He was quite lucky that no predators came by! He kneeled beside the rabbit and started to skin it. After a long process of separating the fur and meat, he was left with quite the haul!

Just as he was about to set up a campfire, he was greeted with a system notification!

[Ding! You have skinned a [Small Brown Forest Rabbit] and have thus unlocked the animal processing module! This menu will automatically skin, sort, and clean all the animals you kill. You have earned 10 exp!]

Alright! 4 Exp to go! Man, gaining Exp is easy! Suddenly, he felt a chill down his spine as if he just offended millions of people! He shrugged it off as he set up the campfire. Once he finally set up the campfire he was greeted with yet another reward, sadly it was only 2 Exp. Either he was just expecting too much or the system just became poor. Either way, he started to cook some of the rabbit's meat and was met with a very good result. His stomach was satisfied and he earned another menu! The cooking menu!

[Ding! You have cooked [Small Brown Forest Rabbit] and have thus unlocked the cooking module! This module will prepare, add ingredients, and cook food! You have earned 1 Exp!]

Wait, one Exp? What gives? "Hey, what's with the declining amount of Exp rewarded?]

[Ding! The system is only giving out a certain amount of Exp as rewards for unlocking modules. However, to stop the user from relying on the system, the system will lower the Exp given in rewards. This does not effect Exp gained by kills.]

That made sense. Also, he unlocked the instant crafting for the campfire!
