2 Goodbye To My Previous World!

I closed my eyes, and a voice directly came to my ears: "Welcome Ye Chen, you have chosen to become a God!"

The Voice was calm it does not contain any emotions in it, but I was so reluctant to open my eyes again, I want to fall asleep peacefully, I wanted to drift in this darkness for my eternity. I felt soothing in that darkness.

Seeing that I was still hesitating to open my eyes, the voice came again to my ears, this time the words content some affection in it. I couldn't able to close my eyes anymore, and I opened them.

When I open my eyes I looked everywhere, there was white mist all around my body, the white mist has covered the whole surrounding. I couldn't able to see the distance clearly when I was still dazed, a figure suddenly appeared in front of my eyes.

"Welcome Ye Chen, to the world of great beyond!" Those are the first words I heard upon finding myself surrounded by the white mist.

It was too sudden, I don't know what's going on. And there was a person standing in front of me, he was wearing ancient-looking clothes. He has white long hair same as white clouds on a clear day. Although he was old, but I can still able to feel his strong vitality. He stared at me with his black eyes blinking at my inability to understand what had happened. He sure knew how to make a good first impression.

I looked at the old man with a calm mind, and with my calm expression on my face, I asked the old man standing before me quietly: "Can I just ask one thing?"

The old man nodded: "Of course."

"That puppy, the one I pushed out of the way. Is he still alive?"

That was very important to me. It was the first and last good thing I have done after my parent's death. If it turned out I'd been too late, that I hadn't saved him that would be too awful.

"Sure, he was still alive." 

Thank goodness. This means that my death was not in vain. I was able to do something worthwhile with my life, even if only at the very end.

"Really, you just want to ask this question?" The old man looked at me and asked, obviously there was something more important to ask.

"Am I Really Dead? What will happen to me? Will I really become a god?" These are the only question's that appeared in my mind.

Hearing my idiotic questions the old man smiled slightly, as he said: "Of course, I already told you that you are going to become a god, and as for your death..." When he said these words, an acute pain appeared in my head, and I passed out. 

And when I woke up suddenly, I was already in my original body, and in confusion, I suddenly checked my body in every place. I looked at my surrounding with wry eyes: "It was all dream, was I just daydream now?" Thinking of this, a bitter smile appeared on my face. And just when I was about to leave in my home direction, the old man appeared in front of me out of nowhere.

"Where are you going, I have already said that you have chosen to become a god, so you have to come with me." 

I saw the old man standing in front of me in mid-air. I am at a loss for words. He was standing in the air very close to me, there were no particular expressions I can able to see on his face. His expressions were calm.

If you ask me seriously, I am not interested in becoming a god. But a sudden thought came to my mind: "This could be my second chance to live a wonderful life." I nodded my head subconsciously.

When the old man saw that I was willing to come with him, he got closer to me as he suddenly said: "If you want, you can go and meet your parents first." 

Listening to what he said, a stimulating emotion emerged out of my heart "If Possible" these are the words that appeared in my mind as I denied the thought: "No need, let's go." After denying it, I glanced at the horizon. Maybe this was the last time I was seeing this world, and I will never come to this world ever again.

After hearing my words, the old man nodded, moved his right hand in a circular motion and a black hole appeared in front of my eyes out of nowhere. Looking at this weird scene, a nervous look appeared on my face.

"Let's go!" The old man said to me in a firm tone.

I glanced again, at the world that takes everything from me, maybe this is the final goodbye. 

"All right, forget it. I had to let it go, I can't return to this world anyway." Thinking of this, I jumped into the black hole that appeared in front of my eyes. 

After I jumped inside the black hole that was appeared in front of me, the old man covered my body with some kind of sacred energy. I can't able to say what this thing was, but it was protecting my body from the strong winds that were passing me. The energy was glowing with radiant blue light, it was protecting my body similar to any armor covering me from dangerous wind currents.

"We are in the space tunnel now. It will take us at least one month to reach our destination." The old man said in a calm tone after hearing his words I nodded in response.

I looked around but I can't able to see anything beyond five meters. A lot of wind currents hit us but were destroyed by the shield that the old man had created for us.

After a brief moment of silence, the old man suddenly talks: "Alright, I guess I have a lot of time to teach you about the world you are about to enter and spend your entire life." 

The old man looked at me calmly, I was also eager to know what kind of world I was going to live in from now on. I looked at him and begins to hear wholeheartedly.

"Well, my name is Ye Rao, and I'm one of the guardians of Yunlang Sect. And the world you are going to enter is called the Immortal world, and I'm assigned to bring you to the human immortal world ordered by Yunlang first elder."

 I heard what he said, but couldn't able to understand it completely. An immortal world, guardian, immortals, yunlang sect, first elder I didn't know what he was saying.

"First, the immortal world was completely different from your previous human world. And there you can able to start a completely new life. In that world, respect can only be achieved by strong strength, and you will be given a chance to cultivate and breakthrough to the heavens restrictions."

The old man said a lot, and I listened to him with a sharp mind. This was new, I was embarking on a world that was completely unknown to me. I was nervous and excited at the same time, I was feeling something new and life-changing going to take place in my life. And I was eager to experience my new journey, maybe this was really my second chance to change my life entirely and prove to myself that I deserve to have an opportunity.
