2 Chapter 2

Looking at this, only one thought comes to mind

'shit, one big shit'.

My situation turned out to be much more difficult than I could have imagined, or in layman's terms, it didn't go according to plan.

But it's no use crying over spilled milk, I draw my flaming sword and know what I want, to return the traitors to the mother from which they came.

I take my hand and let the warp flow into my body as I determine the right location to open the portal.

Finding the right spot, I just concentrate and make a hole in the fabric of reality itself.

I look at my Custodians and point my flaming sword at the portal "My loyal servants, straight ahead".

I pick up speed as I head towards the portal with my entourage.

(Unknown Custodes POV)

The situation was very unusual for the seemingly ordinary Custodians.

The emperor ordered him and a few other relatives to go with him to the highest point of Luna. Arriving there, the emperor just stared motionless at something. Even his eyes, which gazed far beyond the human eye, could not see what their master saw.

At one point there was an enormous weight in the air, as if they were looking at something terrible, something very powerful. There was a strong pressure in the air that wanted to knock them all to the ground. His eyes looked and felt the pressure coming from their master, he had felt his presence before but the pressure was like carrying a mountain on his back or every muscle in his body wanted to kneel in respect and humility.

His master turned and was very angry, you could feel the hatred emanating from his body. The master took out his flaming sword and a large portal just appeared on one side of the hill.

"My loyal servants, straight ahead". his master's voice commanded and he entered the portal. His voice was like an intoxicating drug, it sounded perfect.

Entering the portal and coming out the other side, he only looked and saw that he was in a burning laboratory.

"Destroy all traitors," it came loud and clear.

He took out his sword very quickly and knew what he had to do.

(Argel Tal POV)

Inside the Imperial laboratory that housed the artificial wombs for twenty demigods, reality shimmered as spacetime was warped by the Warp Rift.

Argel Tal and his brothers from the Bearers of Words came out of the rift. Stunned and disjointed by the flickering visions and movements through reality, he unsuccessfully tried to identify his surroundings until he heard the voice of Ingethel the Ascended telling him what he must do.

Walking slowly past the glass entrails, he drew his blade and headed for the Gellar field generator in the center of the chamber. The True Gods would save the Primarchs from the False Emperor and his Father would be vindicated. He raised his blade and prepared to destroy the shield.

Just as his blade began its downward arc, the warp stirred again. Ingethel screamed as she felt the power and its source. At the other end of the chamber from their portals, another cut opened in the Matter. Not a cut that mourned corruption and chaos like the first, this one burned with the power of holy fire. Ingethel began to tremble with her demonic form weakening under the pressure coming from the rift.

As the outlines of something coming out of the portal, slowly appeared he could only feel a strong sense of dread climbing down his advanced skull. He tried to move his hand, but he felt that he could not move his arms and legs, he was followed while an even greater pressure was felt in the room, the pressure seemed as if they were in the presence of something very powerful.

"Anathema... ANATHEMA HAS COME!" the newborn Daemon Prince howled in terror and fear.

He looked up at his brothers to see that they sensed it as well, and as one the horrors of the False Emperor's presence rose. The pain and humiliation of the Monarchy was a fresh wound in their Transhuman memories. However, even his brothers who had witnessed the Emperor's wrath were shocked by the energy seeping from the rift. Although the power unleashed upon the Monarchy was far more brutal and unbridled than the usual psychic aura the Emperor gave off, this was far worse. It was a force of pure rage and dominance that only increased as the very creature responsible for it emerged from the portal with his followers.

He watched Ingethel bend under the glowing light, and then only gold chains came out of the creature. The chains themselves quickly flew from one side of the room to another and quickly caught and trapped the daemon prince in strong shackles. The daemon prince only screamed in pain as the chains were made to capture not kill.

In less than a second their portal just collapsed and disappeared and with the capture of Ingethel, he and his brothers were left alone and confused.

He felt he could move his hands again. He looked and realized that the giant was looking at him with extreme hatred on his face.

The giant just swung his flaming sword as he charged towards him faster than his eyes could follow, all of his brothers who tried to attack the giant or got in the giant's way were now reduced to pieces of burning flesh and bubbles of blood.

He watched as the giant companions easily wiped out his brothers and turned them into pieces of meat.

"Protect the Gellar field generator" shouted the giant.

As the Giant continued to walk towards him, he just looked and saw that the last of his brothers was dead, this is not a battle this is a massacre he thought.

The giant stood in front of him and just smiled at him.

For a split second, he stared the False Emperor straight in the eyes and saw. Tears wanted to roll down his face because he was looking at something powerful, beyond human comprehension, a creature that was smiling at him in the eyes.

"What are you, Creature?" - he just screamed while looking at that thing and he felt that the creature heard fear and trembling in his voice. As soon as those fateful words left his mouth, the creature's hand moved towards him, hitting him in the stomach area, breaking his armor and crushing his spinal column, he felt only pain and loss of consciousness.
