Li Bao recognized her friend - it was Liu Heng! Li Bao quickly ran over to her friend but was intercepted by guards. Liu Heng saw her guards blocking someone and quickly called them over.

"Didn't I tell you to leave all things to me? I'm strong now!"

Liu Heng was as stubborn as a mule, refusing to let her guards protect her. She insisted that she was powerful enough to take care of herself to her father, but the clan master required her to bring along at least five guards when she takes a walk.

"But the clan master told us to-"

"No! Let him through..."

The guards gave in to Liu Heng. In the city, there were many beauties. Li Bao was known for her flippancy, while Liu Heng was known for her fierceness and bossiness.

Liu Heng saw Li Bao getting closer and closer, but she didn't recognize her. The mask was too efficient! Liu Heng thought Li Bao was a male, and therefore was there to harass her.

"You think you can harass me?"

Liu Heng taunted Li Bao, which confused the latter. Li Bao had completely forgotten that she was wearing a mask to hide her face. This mask made Liu Heng misunderstand Li Bao's intentions. Li Bao, however, mistook Liu Heng's taunts as a want to have a bout with her.

The people that just ran away looked back, only to see a masked man and Liu Heng. They also saw Li Bai, but they didn't pay attention to him at all. Li Bai felt insulted.

"Hahaha, you can never defeat me!"

Liu Heng heard the voice of the supposed male in front of her, and couldn't help but think that she heard this voice before.

The people quickly forgot about Li Bai's presence and instead focused on the masked man walking closer to Liu Heng. It seemed like the masked man was about to fight her.

"Come to think of it, this rambunctious body is familiar, it doesn't really resemble a male's..."

Liu Heng was growing more and more confused. I am familiar with this man, I know it! She then saw Li Bai, getting blocked by her guards.

"Li Bao jie, I don't have time for this!"

Li Bai shouted towards Li Bao, but the people didn't notice this seeing that they didn't give a damn about Li Bai. They didn't care about him at all.

The masked male in front of Liu Heng, however, reacted to this call and turned around. She shouted at Li Bai as well.

"Wait, Liu Heng wants to spar!"

Liu Heng, at last, recognized this "male". It was Li Bai's airhead older sister, Li Bao! Liu Heng then got scared, as she knew she was no match for Li Bao. As strong as she was, Li Bao was infinitely stronger.

"Li Bao, I don't want to spar anymore, it seems like you're... tight on time."

Li Bao considered everyone to be her friend, but not everyone considered themselves to be that. Liu Heng, for example, looked at Li Bao as a mountain that cannot be climbed, and so unconsciously started to hate her.

"Okay then, let's spar next time, Liu Heng!"

As soon as Li Bao left, Liu Heng furrowed her brows. She had lost a lot of face backing off from a fight.

The people also thought about who the mysterious masked man is, to make Liu Heng retreat like that. They were observing from far away, they didn't want to get involved in a dispute.

"Maybe Li Bai did something?"

An onlooker suggested something. He was certain that Li Bai did something, seeing that the masked man looked at Li Bai and eventually followed him.

"Nah, Li Bai is trash, he can't do anything."

"Li Bai di, I'm hungry..."

A hungry Li Bao was caressing her stomach. The grumbles were definitely loud and were able to be heard by everyone. Li Bai was irritated. Why did I bring this idiot sister?

"Let's eat later."

Walking behind Li Bai, Li Bao looked like a servant. The people around them all felt pity towards Li Bao, but there was nothing they could do. He was Li Bai's servant, he can do what he wants with him.

The grumbling of Li Bao's stomach only got louder, until one of the people couldn't take it.

"Hey, Li Bai trash! You're trash, but it doesn't mean you need to treat your servant like one!"

Li Bai instantly glanced where this voice was coming from, and he saw a man standing up with his hands on the table. Li Bai put his palm on his face, looking down. He whispered to his sister.

"Just remove the mask... Let's go eat... Hai."

Behind the mask, Li Bao's face was exceedingly happy. She was waiting for this moment. She actually secretly cheered on the man that stood up for Li Bai's servant. Although she didn't see who the servant was, nor did she even know that Li Bai brought his servant.

Li Bao took her mask off, and her beautiful face was revealed in the middle of the marketplace. Many people were stunned. What is Li Bao doing here? Looking at her side, she was being accompanied by her brother. What the people didn't know was that it was actually the opposite - it was her accompanying her brother.

The Li siblings went into a popular restaurant in that area. The customers saw Li Bao and were allured by her beauty. They were all dumbfounded. Before long, they all caught themselves staring at the Li clan's beauty.

Li Bai was met with the completely opposite reaction. He felt gazes of jealousy and hatred seeping through his pores. Even though we're siblings? All of the people inside the restaurant all had lustful looks towards Li Bao.

Li Bai found an unoccupied table in the corner of the restaurant. He let Li Bao sit, and he sat after.

Li Bai called the waiter. Just like everybody else, the waiter was filled with hatred for this trash master, but he needed to suppress it.

Li Bai didn't order food. Li Bao, however, ordered tons. The food she ordered was enough to feed a whole family for one day! What a glutton!

The food arrived, and Li Bao starred eating, while Li Bai started thinking about his next actions.

A group of men, possibly mercenaries, walked up towards Li Bao's table. They had just arrived in the city and because of that, they had no idea who this beautiful girl was.

"Hey-"

Just when one of the mercenaries was about to try to pick up his sister, Li Bai spoke up.

"One, we're siblings, don't misunderstand. Two, we have a high status, so if don't want trouble, please refrain from getting close to my sister."

The mercenaries were shocked. Why this little brat...! The leader was obviously the one that was about to speak. One of his subordinates tapped his shoulder and whispered something. The leader grinned and left the restaurant.

"This is why I wanted you to wear the mask. Whatever, just eat faster, Li Bao jie."

After eating, they paid and left the restaurant. Once they did, however, the mercenaries from before blocked the pathway.

"Men, get the girl. I'll get the first taste. I'll handle this one."

Li Bai was scared. He knew that he couldn't fight back at all. This was the exact reason why he brought his sister. But who knew that his sister would be the one that brought trouble to him?

Li Bai knew he couldn't just stand still. But he knew that standing still would work out just as well. He knew very well what level his sister was at: Third Level Mark 4-gems! The normal level of a 17-year-old was Second Level Mark 2-gems. His sister, Li Bao, was the prime example of a genius without a mark abnormality. So he didn't dare underestimate his sister.

The mercenary that targeted Li Bai was very excited. He wanted to get a taste of the beautiful lady he just saw. He thought his two other companions were enough to apprehend the girl.

"Hehe, kid, that'll teach you not to disrespect your elders..."

Li Bai heard the mercenary's statement and laughed a little. This is too much! He was underestimating his sister way too much.

The mercenary saw Li Bai laughing and thought he was just putting up a front. He got irritated and rushed to attack Li Bai, when suddenly a figure landed in front of him, kicking him in the stomach.

"Kyuhk-!"

The mercenary coughed up blood. He was Third Level Mark 3-gems, he wasn't to be underestimated. Who would've thought that someone on par with him would appear in this backwater town?

Li Bai looked down on the mercenary, who was kneeling on the ground, wiping off blood. He had an evil smile on his face. Even though it was his sister, Li Bao, who fought the mercenary leader, he still felt accomplishment.

Li Bao was too lighthearted to kill anyone, so she just knocked them all unconscious. Same for the mercenary leader, she meant for him to pass out. But she underestimated him a little.

The mercenary leader looked for his companions - they were all unconscious on the ground. When he looked at the person who kicked him, he was shocked. It was the girl!? The mercenary was pretty sexist, so he thought all girls were weak. This event changed his sexist ways.

"I-I'm sorry! Please, what can I do to compensate?"

"Uh..."

Li Bai felt that the mercenary had a change of heart. He decided to let him go after a short while. After all, he couldn't kill him anyway. Li Bao wouldn't want to.

"Nothing. Just... stay out of trouble."

"Thanks! I'll remember this!"
