Assassination

Li Bai arrived just in time.

As soon as Yuan Ruogang was about to pull his pants down, the mechanical horse's noises distracted him from doing so.

"Eh, who are you?," Yuan Ruogang asked curiously as he pulled his pants up again. 'From what brother said, no one knows of our "good deed" today! Is he an evildoer?'

Hearing the young man's question, Li Bai turned his head to look at him. He squinted his eyes; it was hard to see under all this rain.

All of a sudden, Li Bai started rambling, "Hmm... your talent is not bad. However, it is not enough." He then ignored him and went straight to the princess.

Zhao Mei couldn't see who the youth on the horse was, but he had saved her from being r*ped. At the very least, she needed to thank him for that.

When he got closer and closer, his figure became apparent. The man on the horse was smaller than her. To Zhao Mei, this meant that he was either younger, or just a midget.

"Eh, young man...?" Zhao Mei uttered as the horse got closer.

Li Bai finally tracked down the origin of the Dark energy fluctuations. So it was you!

"Princess, let me free you first," Li Bai said as he got off his horse.

Seeing the young man ignore him, Yuan Ruogang felt a little indignant. He pouted as he said, "Hey, I'm talking here!"

Li Bai responded, "What do you want?"

The voice of the young man sounded high-pitched, so it should be that he was a child, someone younger than him. Yet, when he heard the voice, he felt strangely intimidated. In the end, Yuan Ruogang just looked on the ground and stayed silent, twirling his fingers.

Li Bai walked closer to Zhao Mei and saw that she was almost naked.

As Li Bai walked closer, he became more visible to Zhao Mei, and as he walked right in front of her, she finally saw who it was.

"Li Bai...?" Zhao Mei uttered on instinct. She was fairly sure that this young man in front of her was the same young man that revealed he had a lot of the same thing they were looking for the past few months!

"Ah, yes." Li Bai responded concisely.

Hearing his confirmation, Zhao Mei felt reassured, though she was not sure why.

While he was at it, Li Bai looked for any peculiar marks on her body like on Meng Shan.

Zhao Mei's zodiac was a Tiger, befitting of her personality. However, her mark had a peculiarity like his. The Tiger on her skin had its eyes all black. This signified the fact that she had a Pure Dark Constitution.

Other than that, there was no more to see. Li Bai did not care about the naked body of a woman, since he had experienced having one himself, and for multiple times, too.

He loathed having a female body. Other than the monthly tribulations that started when they were about 13, they were also the ones that had to bear the fruit. Either of those things were enough to make Li Bai not look forward to having a female body at all.

Seeing Li Bai scan his eyes across her exposed body, Zhao Mei could not help but blush. Even though this man was obviously a lot younger than her, there was a hidden maturity that made her attracted.

Yuan Luoyang had a smile smeared across his face as he knew that Wu Tai had no chance of recovery. He made sure that the dagger that their father made for them ended up inside of Wu Tai.

As such, this was the only occasion that it was used. Other than that, it was brand new.

He walked towards where his younger brother was, expecting to find him in the middle of the act.

However, he was greeted with a different sight from what he imagined.

There was his younger brother, twiddling with his fingers, and there was Zhao Mei with someone else!

He approached quickly. He needed to dispose of this fellow as clean and as quietly as possible. He wouldn't just kill him face to face. That's not what assassins do, after all.

He then hid from everyone's sight using the [Smoke Step] Movement Technique. Even his brother couldn't see him with this technique.

Taking out a small crossbow, he aimed at the young man's nape.

Fire!

The arrow was shot at a high speed.

"That should do it," Yuan Luoyang thought to himself, "but just in case..."

He threw a dagger aimed at the other party's heart.

"Another assassination complete." Yuan Luoyang was completely confident that those two weapons of his were enough to kill a child. Besides, he still had his Godly Mark cultivation to rely on. "That brat isn't even at the Heavenly Mark..."

Suddenly, the hand of the young man moved behind his nape. The arrow was only an inch away from penetrating his skin. However, it was caught between two fingers! He dropped it and moved it towards where the dagger was aimed, catching it as well!

Yuan Luoyang was dumbfounded.

To avoid being hit by the arrow and the dagger, Li Bai had to take two steps forward as he caught each of them. As a result, he ended up right in front of Zhao Mei.

Except for her undergarments, she had no other clothes on. Zhao Mei could feel Li Bai's breath directly on the skin of her stomach.

She contracted it as much as possible to get farther from Li Bai's nose, but he was still close enough for her to feel his inhaling and exhaling.

"Eh, uh..." Zhao Mei's face was red, all the way to her ears!

She could not tell whether the other party felt any desire for her or not. Not when his expression was calm...

To be honest, Li Bai was barely holding on his control. His mature mind was telling him no, but his immature body was telling him yes.
