Chapter 40

Once she had died Bon came out of the closet that he was hiding in.

Bon: "I gotta say you outdid yourself with this. I didn't think you'd make someone fall for you and then kill them. So did it feel great for you didn't you say you liked these types of things. "

Fran didn't answer, he just looked at the burnt corpse that was laying on the floor.

Bon: "No answer well no matter there's no use thinking of how a killer feels like. You completed your end of the deal so all Is good by me. Oh but I do want you to burn the corpse to ash. It will be a pain to clean up if the body still has a shape."

Fran does as he says and burns it into ash.

Bon: "Still I can see why you made her attached to you for your enjoyment in the end but don't you find the process tedious or boring?"

Fran: "No if anything it's probably my favorite part. I like seeing people grow. No. That isn't the right word. I like to see them develop whether it's them growing or regressing. I find it interesting and entertaining.

He spoke in a monotone voice.

Bon: "Interesting? Well, anything else you want to say or ask before you leave I feel like it would be best we don't get too close to each other anyways personally."

Fran turns around and faces Bon with no particular expression on his face.

Fran: "Nothing really but I thought you might want to know that I did think of killing you as part of the deal."

Bon didn't say anything as he just laughed at his response.

Bon: "The first thing to cross my mind as I said that was you killing me so it doesn't seem like I was wrong."

Fran: "Would it have been fine with you if I did do that."

Bon: "I wouldn't be mad over it as long as it was entertaining as I said I don't have anything else to do in life other than wait for my death at this house."

Fran: "I see, well farewell hopefully we don't need to meet again."

Bon: "Likewise, just don't fail to entertain me from the outside though."

Fran took the money Hana had in her purse and left Bon's house. He didn't look back as he left the village but looked forward as he headed to the capital.
