Chapter 37

It's the next day as he gets to the main lobby he says his good mornings to Hana and leaves with the lunch box she hands to him. As always he goes back to Bon's place to train.

Fran: "Do you know of the women that works at the inn Bon?"

Bon: "That energetic one? Ya of course I do she's the only one besides me that isn't from this village. When she found out that I wasn't from here she would not leave me alone trying to get close with me waiting at the front of my door since nobody wants to talk to outsiders here. But she did eventually give up after ignoring her for about 2 weeks. Why do you ask?"

Fran: "No real reason I've just been with her since I came here so I was wondering what type of person she is."

Bon: "I see well anyways let's get back to training as long as we don't fall behind our pace you should be down with the basics by the time you need to leave."

After doing his daily training he goes back to the inn but when he enters he sees a person in a type of uniform waiting for him.

Fran: "Do you need something from me?"

???: "I'm a soldier from the royal guards. I came today to meet the new participants of the war from the God's side. Would you be one of them?"

Fran: "Yes I am."

Soldier: "Good to hear would there be any others that joined as well or would you be the only one."

Fran: "I'm the only one that joined this time."

Soldier: "Ok I came here to inform you of the tournament that happens at the capital every year and would like to invite you to join."

Fran: "I was informed about it and I do plan on going."

Soldier: "That's good to hear would you mind if you give us your name so we can have you registered."

Fran: "Sure it's Fran Aikawa."

Soldier: "Thank you, that will be everything I need from you good luck on the tournament."

After asking the questions he needed the soldier left the inn. After he left, Fran turned to Hana who was watching the entire exchange between the two of them.

Fran: "Do they usually do this every year?"

Hana: "From what I've seen they usually come here every month to make sure nobody is messing with the village because they want this village to be peaceful since it's the first one from where you guys are summoned. The reason they asked you if you were new is because every time during this month new people are summoned here."

Fran: " I see, so they don't want us to be controlled by others when we first join." Why

Hana: "It seems so so you don't need to worry about people attacking here since if they do it won't end well for the attackers."

Fran: "That's good to know. Well anyways, are you free in 10 days? I will have a free day. I was wondering if you wanted to do anything."

Hana: "I'll ask my boss if I'm able to take a day off then I'll let you know if I'm free."

Fran: "Ok Goodnight."

Hana: "Goodnight."
