Chapter 35

Once he killed Zeke Hyogo heard noises outside which he believed to be his comrades. Before leaving Hyogo uses his water magic and pours it onto himself to get rid of the blood all over him. Once he was cleaned he broke the entrance to the shed with his water magic and leaves to find the members of his clan. It wasn't hard for him to find them since they had already started to destroy the village. So he headed towards the center of the village.

There were 3 of them in total; they had already killed the ones bothering them as they waited for Hyogo. Only the ones hiding remained.

Lily: "What took you so long, leader? I thought maybe you needed help with killing that person."

Hyogo: "Stop joking around and come heal my arms. They aren't as bad as before but it still hurts to move them too much."

???: "Alright come here."

Hyogo walks towards the woman in front of him and gives her his arms to heal with light magic. While his arms are getting healed he asked the guy next to her a question.

Hyogo: "So I'm assuming with how the spirit is with you that we completed our mission right."

???: "Yes we were able to get the contract with the spirit for the princess but because of that we weren't able to kill the other magic beast since it was part of the contract."

Hyogo: "Oh well it shouldn't matter much anyways since one day someone will get rid of that Devil's creature for God. Luckily instead we were able to get rid of so many non-believers this time and since we will now have a royal on our side and the princess no less we should be able to move around more freely."

The guy on top of a roof speaks up.

???: "That's good but don't you think it's time already? We should be strong enough by now don't you think."

Hyogo: "No it's still too soon, we still have to lower the numbers of non believers before that. We also can never be too sure on how strong we need to be for when it's time. In a couple months I think we will be ready so be patient."

???: "Ok well then let's hurry up and kill the rest of the villagers remaining most are hiding in their homes."

Hyogo: "Before we go do any of you have a piece of paper."

???: "Ya I got one what do you need it for?"

Hyogo: " Just to write a message for the one I sent to the lightning biome so she would be safe."

???: "Ah her well don't take too long we'll start heading back to the capital once we kill the rest if you aren't back before then we're leaving without you."

Hyogo: "Ya that's fine I'll catch up to you guys quickly if that happens. Oh ya by the way, go to the elder's house because I had given them 50 thousand dollars before I knew what type of people they were. We should take it back and that should be everything we need to do in this village."

???: "Sounds good to me. By the way, which one is the elder's house?"

Hyogo: "It's that one over there."

Hyogo pointed in the direction of the elder's house.

???: "Alright see you later."

After leaving the note at the shed for Hana Hyogo leaves the village without any regrets or feelings of remorse.

The lives of the villagers may have ended but that wasn't the end of their impact on the world. Fear, pain, sadness, depression and all the negative emotions that occurred during the attack are still present as they float through the air guided to their place of rest. Once they arrive at their destination they can finally rest as they create new life. The cycle of life continues.
