Chapter 28

???: As I soared through the sky as I searched for the man called Hyogo as I was ordered I couldn't help but be worried. All I can do is pray that I find Hyogo before he does anything to my mother. There was a chance that she could kill him before he killed her but even I wasn't so optimistic to believe that. After all her magic was limited now so her chances were slim of winning. After a while I was able to see what looked like the remains of a fight so I followed those marks. The longer I followed the tracks of the fight the more worried I became because the longer the fight went on the less of the chance she had to win. After 30 minutes of flying through the air following the tracks of the fight I reached a forest or the remains of one. It was in a poor state with most of the trees tumbled over and the ground in a mess filled with holes and mud that was out of place. The fight looked like it ended here since there were no more tracks to follow. I just hope that it didn't end with the death of my mother. Just the thought of it made me depressed on why this had to happen in the first place. It was all unnecessary if it weren't for them we would have been living our daily happy life. I tried to be optimistic and told myself that Hyogo gave her some mercy and she is still alive. Since the tracks of the fight ended here I flew to the small village that I could see in view near to the forest. Once I got close I could smell his scent. It was in the direction of a small run down shed. I flew through the little village and once I got near the shed I descended and landed in front of the door.

"Hyogo I know you're in there, come out." As I called out for him I silently prayed my mother would respond to my voice by chance that they came to a truce.

Hyogo: "So it's you that came to find me come inside I can't open the door myself."

???: I struggled to open the door on my own but I somehow managed to do it. Once I opened it the sunlight came inside the shed and I could see him sitting on the floor looking in my direction but it was just him. My mother was nowhere to be seen. I thought to myself maybe Hyogo would let her go back to the lighting biome but I knew that wouldn't happen. She wouldn't leave him until she killed him. I already knew Hyogo would not show mercy to her as well since he doesn't treat our lives with any value other than as tools. Humans are all like this looking down on us treating us as slaves for their benefit. I hate them and he was no exception. I swear if I ever get the chance I'll kill him and his friends.
