Chapter 25

After leaving the elders house Zeke goes towards the forest that Hana came from. Before he reached the forest he couldn't see how poor the state it was in now with all the trees destroyed since from the front part of the village it looked fine. But when gets to the forest and walks a bit further into the forest he sees just how badly it was. Plenty of trees cut down from the fight, holes in ground from the previous attacks and patches of mud when it hadn't rained in weeks.

Zeke: "This forest is ruined, only the front side from the village was left untouched now we can't get as many fruits from the trees anymore. I knew he would only bring misfortune towards the village. I can't believe they let him stay after this mess even if he did repay for the damage it's inexcusable. If only someone like Hiyori would come and fix our forest like they did to that other village. Then again it's only a legend with no evidence to prove that someone was able to do that. The only being with the power to do that would be God but who would believe he did it. God does nothing to help his believers when he has the power to do so. People who worship him are only fools blinded by the power he wields thinking he will save them. While he does nothing and just watches events unfold as his believers suffer. The only person worthy of worship is Touji. If only he were king, life wouldn't be so unfair to us that aren't wealthy or those that aren't born with powerful magic. Then maybe we wouldn't need to live in fear of the people in the war."

After Zeke finishes talking to himself and checking out the forest he leaves to go where Hyogo is staying.
