Chapter 15: Garbages, even goblins discriminate. Why? Because they finally found something weaker than them!

"Kill! Kill them!" - a loud roar reverberated in a deserty plain, that was desolate yet filled with weird silhouettes, all of them shrouded in darkness.

"No, stop, please… Spare them!" - begged a humble being, a weakling, a powerless creature, kind and honest but with the worst fate… what stood was a goblin, pleading for mercy.

"Brother, save me!"

"Son…"

"Go-"

"Kuhahahaha, a mere goblin speaking human language, that's impressive, but not impressive enough to save their lives. Die!"

"No!"

Slash!

Bozo was sweating profusely. He was having a weird dream, a painful nightmare. His body sweat profusely, his eyeballs shaking intensely. He even convulsed once or twice before finally opening his tightly shut eyes.

Huff Huff!

He abruptly sat up from his sleeping position. His breathing was heavy and his heart raced. A weird chilling fear gripped his heart.

Slowly, he placed his right hand on his chest. He closed his eyes momentarily.

'What was that…?'

'A human killed goblins…their faces… unfamiliar. But why does it hurt so much?', Bozo sat silently, thinking about the nightmare before his eyes fell on this little girl who was in front of him, staring at him intensely.

'Huh?'

She was quite short. She had pointy ears and a bright face of a female goblin. But she was short, so short that if Bozo stood up, she would only come to her knees.

"W-who are you?" Bozo asked as he stared at this little girl. She looked like a baby yet was standing upright.

Bozo noticed that he was on a pile of leaves that served as a bed, but it wasn't that high that only half of her face would be visible.

Was she kneeling on the floor?

"You… painful?" the girl asked as she pointed at Bozo's right leg and his ears.

'Is she worried?', Bozo couldn't help but look at her big oval eyes. She looked like a character out of fiction.

"Haha, not painful. I'm fine, thank you for worrying."

"No pain? You fine…?" her speech seemed weirdly delayed.

At first, Bozo didn't find this weird, but when the girl stood up, her height increased. She could come up till Bozo's shoulders, that meant, she was about 3-4 years old, a few years younger than him.

This made him question her speech.

Goblins are weaklings among weaklings. You shit on them and they will die. You stare at them and they might have a heart attack. You whisper in their ears and you might destroy their eardrums - as much of an exaggeration as this is, at least one goblin has died this way.

But they are good at something - that is imitation and learning. They learn craftsmanship, language, weapons, tactics and many more which thousands of others can't. Having limbs and hands like that of humans makes them quite outstanding and gives them an advantage over four-limbed beasts. It would be a funny comparison, but goblins are also called a retrograde cheap version of humans…

Speech - that is something the goblins learn first. Even a three-month-old goblin can speak fluently. So seeing this cute little young female goblin unable to speak properly raised a few questions in Bozo's mind.

"Yes yes. I'm completely fine," Bozo raised his right hand and posed, displaying his muscles a bit. "I'm super strong. A small injury like this won't hurt me."

Hearing that, the girl laughed, "Hehehe, you… you like me."

"…?"

"You in pain, but you lie. Me saw you… scared face. Me also, pain. But me lie. Me fine." the little girl gave a smile… but it was filled with sadness.

Bozo's heart broke a little as he heard this. He couldn't help but pull himself and get down from the pile of leaves. He then walked towards the little girl and patted her head, scrubbling her hairs a bit, "It's fine, everything will be alright."

The girl moved her hand and caught Bozo's, "You kind. Your name?"

"My name? Haha, I'm Bozo."

"Zogo?"

"Ye- Ayo no. Bozo. Bo… Zo!"

"Bojo?"

"…"

"Haha, yes. You can call me that."

"Bojo." saying this, she hugged him, clinging onto him tightly. This made Bozo give another small smile. Although she acted like a burden because of the missing limb, talking to her made Bozo feel a little lighter.

As they were on the context, Bozo asked, "What is your name?"

"Gabag."

"Gaabag?"

"No. Gabag."

"That's what I'm saying, Gaabag… oh, wait, is it Gaabaj?"

The girl vigorously shook her head. She looked at the floor and wrote a few characters, saddening Bozo even further.

"Garbage?"

"Un." she nodded her head as a smile sat on her face. She was happy but seeing this, Bozo was even more saddened.

Handicapped or wounded goblins are viewed as curses. They are considered as baggage and burdens that are worse than old elderly goblins. Everyone keeps their distances from them. Bozo knew that this was why the little goblin's name was 'Garbage'. It was because of the absence of a tongue.

He momentarily looked at his own body - a limb was missing. He would be viewed as a defect as well, but he couldn't help but wonder why he was saved if that's what everyone thought.

Although he had regeneration, which was slow because of his limited stamina, MP and HP, he didn't want to have any regenerative effects at the moment.

'I'm probably at a goblin village and considering how it was south of the great river, I must be at Narka Clan. They weren't all that hostile but seeing how I don't have a limb, they might treat me badly. Ha… at least, I will use this opportunity to know who can be useful.'

Bozo was initially going to limp and walk out, but then the girl didn't let him go. Burden? No, she became his support.

She acted like a steady stick who held his right arm and walked alongside him. Funnily, due to her short height, it worked even better, but Bozo made sure that he didn't apply excessive pressure.

Of course, he kept looking at her. Her round oval eyes, short nose, and a determined look on her face, as if she was pumped up, made him chuckle.

"Me help." she had already told as she walked beside him; unfortunately, the little girl's face changed as soon as they were out.

"Ha!? What is this? Guys! Take a look! Garbage is helping another garbage walk. Have you seen anything funnier than this?! Hahahahahaha!"

"…"
