1 Welcome to my stream~

________

"Hello there everyone, Hera here! Otherwise known as "Loudlens", you can call me Hera, you can call me Loud, point is, I'm here to entertain!"

A cheerful girl with glasses on her nose cheered as she held up a pretty bulky camera, pointing it at her face and watching a red light blink, indicating that the camera was recording, and in this case, live-streaming.

She waved her gloved hand at the lens, grinning from ear to ear as she walked along a beat-up forest path, lush greenery recorded by her expensive camera.

"Today we'll be exploring the Cairy-city-hospital, it's been closed down for a good 10 years now, today's the anniversary of the tenth year, actually. It was closed down due to low funding and bad conduct of both doctors and nurses."

The girl explained as she walked, turning the camera around to film the path ahead, a squirrel was running up one of the many trees recorded with the camera.

"Rumours have it that they conducted human experimentation on some of the poor patients who couldn't pay the bills, but who knows if it's true, our goal for today is to get a grasp on the situation there, see if it's good for filming and if it is, which I'm not sure about, considering it's pretty old by now, we'll give the reigns to my dear friend, Caroline, otherwise known as "Ghost-Hustle, Ghost-Buster"!"

Still grinning as she trudged along the path, she switched on her phone that was hanging from a phone case she wore around her neck and watched the chat flicker along.

The count of viewers wasn't very high, just about 1.300, but she didn't do this for views, she did it because she found it fun and it gave her reason to talk to herself, and to her viewers, explaining her thought process and what was happening around her.

StrangePeach: <Ohhh, it's soo pretty there! I wanna go too!>

WrongDock: <Sweet heart, show yourself more!>

LoudDog: <Good luck today Lens!>

SunnyStorm: <I hope you can find a ghost today!>

LuckCarry: <Above! No! No ghosts! Please Lens, no ghosts today!>

Hera, otherwise known as Lens chuckled as she watched the comments, her viewers mightn't be many, but they were active and interactive, providing her with love and support.

She loved interacting with her watchers and sometimes did things they wished her to do, such as taking long walks around the forests and places she visited or even take something home with her to send it to the viewer who wanted it, it was how she made a lot of her income.

"No, no LuckyCarry, I don't want to see ghosts either, but I'm sure my friend would be thrilled by it."

The bronde-haired girl grinned, a patch of silver-white hair to her left braided and hanging down, looking like she had put a coloured extension in.

LuckyCarry: <I know, but I don't like ghosts!>

Kingwolf: <Then are you at the right place?>

SilverMoon: <Yup, our Lens has good luck!>

The comment section was very lively and active, joking about their hosts' "good luck" when it came to encountering the supernatural.

"Are you cursing me to find ghosts, SilverMoon, Kingwolf? How nice of you, truly you are just the kindest!"

She joked with her audience as she wandered around the forest, she was alone but it didn't bother her, sure it had scared her a bit at the start, but she soon became accustomed to it, enjoying the passing scenery and animals all around.

MasterOfFlora: <Hey! Lens, I see a Kinabalu Orchid on that cliff to your right! Get me one, will you?>

Someone in her super chat announced and Hera was alerted with a "Chiriri~" from her phone, the setting she had made to alert her if a super chat came in.

"Oh? Is it very expensive King of Flora? Can it wait until we're done or do you want it urgently?"

Hera asked, looking around to search for her viewers' requested plant, Hera was unsurprised when a private message came in.

MasterOfFlora: < It goes about 3.000 Eryll a stem, it's pretty costly because it's rare and can only be naturally be found in Sehara, it's pretty hard to raise but very pretty, I want it for my indoor garden, I'll pay you 7.000 for getting me the plant including shipping.>

Hara rose her brows, that money was enough to pay for two months of payment for her house.

"Hey, guys?"

She asked with a teasing tilt to her lips as she clicked on the camera function to be the one recorded.

"How much does a Kinabalu Orchid cost?"

She asked her chat, jogging over to the cliff before her and looking around for an orchid-looking plant while keeping half an eye on her phone.

PlantLover: <It costs 10.000 Eryll per plant, so around 3.000 Eryll per stem.>

SoWhatLove?: <Ohhh~ Looks like Lense found something good again~>

Wolfking: <Seriously? Again?! Woman, what's up with your dog-shit-luck?>

Hera chortled and gave a teasing grin to her camera.

"Well, King of Flora, 7.000 Eryll for a plant you say? Fine, but you'll pay for the shipping yourself, and if it dies, it has nothing to do with me, deal?"

Hera asked and filmed the plant she spotted, it was a pretty plant, and she had found a small cluster of them in a ledge within the cliff, they were reddish and striped, looking like an orchid, as the name already gave away.

If she didn't already know that it was hard to raise, she'd be tempted to get one for herself, but as it was, she didn't have a very green thumb and Orchids were notoriously hard to keep.

And although she teased her loyal viewer for haggling the price down, she had no intention to not give him the plant for the price he proposed.

It was always like this, if her viewers spotted something they liked, they told her in the chat and she would try and give it to them, they normally paid for the shipping themselves so it didn't make much of a difference for her, as she was a small streamer who did the streaming for fun, it pleased her to make her viewers and fans happy whenever she could.

It was kind of an unspoken rule, they told her what they wanted, and sometimes paid for it if it was valuable, if there was more than one of a kind, then she would take what was left to keep for herself or sell it for profit, it was how she could keep doing this as a full-time job with her small amount of viewers.

Sometimes she kept the things for herself, refusing to sell it, but that rarely happened and she usually gave the viewers the things if they were the ones to spot them in the first place.

It was also because of this that the atmosphere of her stream was so lively and pleasant, that her viewers kept coming back and were so enthusiastic about her adventures, they enjoyed how she did things.

This likely wouldn't be possible if she was larger or more popular, and sometimes she missed requests because she wasn't looking or paying attention, so people who wanted something paid for a super chat or subscription to her to make her realize that they wanted something.

So in essence, they paid for what they wanted, kind of.

Even if the viewer paid less for the object than selling price, she didn't mind as she would have missed it without them and she wasn't very greedy to begin with, as long as she could make ends meet, she was content, finding it more fun to go about her days like this.

It could be said that she loved her viewers and her viewers loved her, it was a very friendly environment, filled with positivity and kindness, and her admin, "LillyOrchid", made sure that the trolls and mean viewers were muted or banned.

Because she didn't care about the number of viewers she had, it didn't matter to her if a few people left, so it kept the chat friendly and open.

"Hmm, I think I'm going to have to come back later for this, let me mark it real quick and then we'll be on our way, alright?"

She smiled at the camera as she took out a small metal-pole from a bag hanging on her waist and inserted it in the dirt in front of the cliff with the expensive flowers.

She made sure it was placed so that it wouldn't be lost and stood back up.

The metal-pole was a marker that was connected to an app on her phone, showing her the location of the marker with a single glance, normal streamers likely wouldn't have something like this, considering that for most it was redundant and too expensive, but because such situations tended to happen to her, so she bought them to make it easier for her to find the things her viewers wanted after she was done with her exploration.

It was rather hard to explore with some of the things her viewers wanted, after all, and she didn't want to lose the things later on.

Sometimes she would send the location to her viewers so that they could collect them themselves, such as one time where a viewer found a fossil embedded in a cave wall as she was exploring and doing a collaboration with another streamer called "Wild Life Lover".

As she had no tools to excavate it and likely needed permission from some higher-ups to do so in the first place, she had told her viewer that she couldn't do it because she lacked the means, he then told her that he would take care of it if she sent him the location.

At that time she had joked that she wanted to see the permission slip to excavate it before he began to drill, and not a week later she got a phone call, a very happy viewer, and an excavation team waiting to begin their work.

He had proudly shown her the certificate that permitted him to excavate the fossil, and she had laughed until she'd cried, because while she had asked for it, she hadn't expected to get anything back, especially a very proud viewer showing her the papers like a child showing their parents their A+ exam papers.

But this time she marked it to come back later as she knew that her viewer didn't live anywhere near close enough to collect the orchid and she would also need special tools to dig up the sensitive plant.

MasterOfFlora: <Pretty Pleaaaasee~?>

ThatGirl: <Oh beg somewhere else, you sammer!>

LunarWhite: <Yeah MasterFlora, you sammer, bugger off!>

PlantLover: <Sammer!>

Kingwolf: <Sammer!>

Hera laughed at her chat, changing the camera setting with the click of a button, to record in front of her instead of herself, chuckling as she resumed her trek towards the abandoned hospital.

"ThatGirl, it's fine, I wouldn't know where to sell the plants anyway, and I would have missed it if it wasn't for MasterOfFlora too, so consider the 3.000 Eryll as commission for finding it, alright?"

She explained softly and turned the handheld camera upwards, towards the tree crowns, it may be Havar, known as August to the Northerners, but the trees were lush and full, the sun was high in the sky and filtering through the gaps in the trees and leaves, making for a beautiful scene full of nature and serenity.

This was Sehara after all, one of the nine lands of mankind, the land that had neither fall nor winter, rumored to have the most plentiful and beautiful plants on all of Veranna.

"ThatGirl, you're new here right?"

Hera asked, brushing a low branch filled with leaves out of her way as she walked.

ThatGirl: <Yes>

ThatBirsh: <Welcome, always nice to see a new tag!>

StrangePeach: <Yeah, nice to meet you!>

SoWhatLove?: <Really nice to see a new face, we don't get those often, welcome to Hera the Angels' stream, Love!>

Heras viewers welcomed the new face enthusiastically and kindly, as they always did, and so did Hera, they were right after all.

Hera seldomly had new viewers, but she had loyal ones who appeared in most of her streams, making her heart all warm and mushy.

"Well, as always, it's nice to see a new face, if you see something you like, just tell me and I'll see if I can get it for you, but don't be mad if I don't see your message, alright?"

She grinned at the camera as she clicked the button that changed the perspective of the camera from front view to back view.

Heras' camera was an expensive filming camera after all, with night vision and everything, it had cost her a pretty penny, but it was worth it for the great features and quality it gave.

Wolfking: <If you're seen, you're lucky, if you aren't, then you're like the rest of us.>

SoWhatLove?: <Wolf, shut up about that already, it's not Lens' fault that she missed you!>

LunarWhite: <Still not over that?>

StrangePeach: <Sod off already, it's like you said, you're lucky if you're seen, but don't blame Lens if you're not, she has better things to do than read the chat all the time!>

Hera chuckled awkwardly as she read the messages, she had missed him before, even after he sent a super chat, he had wanted a clock from an old house she was exploring, she had gone back another day to get it for him after realizing that she had missed the request.

"I'm so sorry about that Wolfking."

She apologized again, smiling apologetically into her camera.

Wolfking: <Enough people! It was a joke! I'm sorry Hera, I know it wasn't your fault and I wasn't mad about it! YOu didn't have to give it to me, I know that, and I'm thankful that you even went back because of me."

Hera clicked her camera view around again and smiled.

"It's fine, I know that you didn't mean it in a bad way, but there you have it, I do miss the requests sometimes."

Hera used the old scenario as an example and then shushed her viewers.

"Alright, I'm here now, so I won't be responding to messages for a while, I need to make sure everything's in order here first, I don't want any unwelcome surprises.
