7 The Hidden Card

Gev Chiyun realized that he already lost the girl called Kaxs Nobles. That girl was really rude and he even called me old man!

Now that I lost her, where am I going to find her? At least, I know where she's studying. I will find her sooner or later.

My only problem now, it to where am I going to stay? I'm not going to go back to the rundown apartment which is my future house. I have a few money here but… never mind. I shouldn't think too much. I asked some people to where I can found an apartment that is near the university.

I went there and saw a pretty modern apartment. I went inside and saw a middle age woman. She has pleasant eyes that can capture a lot of customer. She welcomed me with a smile.

"Hello there, young man. What can I do for you?" she asked. "My name is Lily."

"Hello Lily, do you have a vacant room right now?" I asked also with a smile. The front desk was very cozy; I really can't wait to stay here.

"Yes of course." She said and brings out some book. She asked me my name and contact. A contact?

Is this a contact for contact number? So, cellphone exist here? It's such a shame that I left my cellphone in the bathroom.

"Lady Lily, I don't have any contact, what am I going to write there?" I ask her and she laugh. I gave her a frown. Why is she laughing?

She stopped laughing and looked at me, amused. "I never thought that a youngster like you wouldn't have a cellphone these days. Son, are you poor?"

I cringe because I was called poor for the second time. "How much would be the cost, Lady Lily?"

"It's 2500 dollars a month." She said and handed me the keys. I bring out my money and handed it to her and she… accepts it!? That gives me a fright. Thanks goodness that my money is acceptable here. I only have 5000 dollars with me. I need to look for a job or else I'm going to be homeless.

I went to the room 412. When I step in, I smelled a cinnamon scent. The room was very spacious and the bed is comfortable. There's also a comfort room. This apartment is very nice indeed.

After I washed my whole body, I slumped on the bed. I don't know but I felt so tired. I glance at the notebook and flipped it.

And then I saw something fall. I frown and searched for it.

It's a card!

I picked it up and read it…

"My name is Micah, owner of a coffee shop called Boredom. If you can see this card… then you are the one I've been waiting for."

My heart skipped a beat.
