12 The Depressed Danna

Gev Chiyun was woken by the sounds of the birds. Yes, that was his alarm clock. It's his 2nd day at work and everything is doing great except for being close to Kaxs Nobles. She's like a cat. She's nowhere to be found and too lazy to bother about anything.

Sometimes, she's just hanging out in Boredom and is reading some latest novel. And the most hateful thing is that she doesn't even want to acknowledge that I'm there. I'm so glad that I'm patient. Right now, she's here and wouldn't even greet anyone except for Micah.

The customer called me and ordered some cappuccino. I was pouring the coffee into the plastic cup when I saw Danna. For some reason, she's not very energetic today. She's been sighing for how many times now? After I gave the cappuccino to the customer, I tapped her shoulder.

When I saw her closed up, I noticed that she has dark circles under her eyes.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked worriedly. "You've been sighing since you arrived."

She shakes her head. "I'm alright…" she said. I'm not convinced but I'm not good at this stuff. The only one who I can ask about this kind of thing is Micah. She's good at words. I knocked at her office and opened it.

"What's wrong, Gev?" Micah asked me as she put down the paper she's holding.

"I'm alright but I think Danna isn't." I get straight to the point. I remain standing because I only want to inform her this since it might affect Boredom.

"Danna isn't?" she put her hands on her chin. "What's wrong with her?"

"She's been sighing for a while now and sometimes she makes a mistake. At first, I didn't pay too much attention to it but she's making mistakes even more frequently now. She has dark circles under her eyes and that is why I think she has a problem. I asked her about it but she didn't say anything." I finished what I said and she stands up.

"Then that's terrible…" she whispered. "Where is she?"

"Inside the shop; she's at the counter," I said and lead her to where Danna is. We saw Danna sighing again. When she saw Micah, she smiled but her smile didn't reach her eyes.

"Hey." She said. Micah smiled and grabbed her hand. She made her sit beside Kaxs. Kaxs frowns because she doesn't know what's going on. I also sit in front of her. She eyes me but I didn't heed her. Micah also sits down and holds Danna's hands.

"What's wrong Danna? I can see that you're kind of down lately." Micah said and makes a worried expression.

Danna just smiled sadly. "It is just…" she looks at us with a doubtful expression. "I… think I found my true love."

Micah smiled. "Oh! Isn't that great!" she exclaimed but Danna remains silent.

"So what's the problem?" I asked; she doesn't look too happy. I don't believe in those sorts of things but since it is Danna's problem, I'm willing to help.
