39 Teasing and Another Trouble

Kaxs Nobles saw Noah Sevilla's determined face. She didn't understand why he looked like that but that guy still needs a lesson for what he did to Lei.

"Why are you looking like that?"

Kaxs raised her head and saw Gev Chiyun worried but smiling face.

"You're here." She just comments.

"Didn't I said that I will be coming here?" Gev said and patted her head. She immediately scratched his hand. She didn't like it… but she does not hate it.

Gev Chiyun sat beside her and asked her what happened.

"Lei was having a panic attack and that is because that guy…" she pointed at Noah. "…triggered something in Lei so she was drowning her consciousness right now and we don't know when she will wake up."

"Lei has a panic attack?" Gev asked. This is the first time he heard that. Lei Grospe is such a funny and wonderful girl so Gev really didn't think about that. This is where he thought that human is such an interesting thing. You will never know someone if you only think about what's on the surface.

"Yes. When we're still young, she always has one but just a mild one. So I always whisper to her that she will be alright and I'm here, so her panic will subside for a little. But one time when a classmate of ours accidentally locked her inside of our classroom in Middle School, she had a panic attack and almost got her killed." Kaxs is narrating it coldly but with the tone of complaining to Gev.

Gev Chiyun thought that it was very amusing but he didn't let her see the amusement in his eyes but rather said, "I see, but right now, all we can do is to trust Lei that she will fight her way to become conscious again." Gev pinched Kaxs face lightly. "And it's already 8:00 pm so you need to eat something for dinner. What do you want to eat? I'll get it for you."

"Why are you being so kind to me right now, it's disgusting," Kaxs said and looked away from Gev.

"Why? Am I not allowed to be kind to you?" Gev asked her wittily.

"I didn't say that. I just said that it was disgusting and weird," Kaxs explained stoically. 'And why is she even explaining what she feels!?' she thought.

"I don't want to eat… I want my mocha." Kaxs said but she stands up. "I changed my mind, I'm coming with you to buy some dinner for uncles."

Gev smiled. "Okay."

Kaxs saw his smiled. "Why are you smiling? It's so disgusting." Kaxs complained again.

"Why? Am I not allowed to smile?" Gev asked her in a teasing voice. He just found it funny to tease Kaxs. And she looks so cute even though she has that stoically and cold face.

"You're not allowed," Kaxs said and walked ahead of him.

'Ah.' Gev realized something. So when Kaxs is embarrassed or angry, she always walks ahead of him.

"Okay, I'm not going to smile anymore," Gev said but he still smiling.

"I know that you're still smiling," Kaxs said even though she's not looking at him.

Gev Chiyun smiled even harder. His little kitten is very sharp. Even though she's not looking she's still able to see what he is doing. "Wait for me, Kaxs."

At a certain place.

"Ah! I finally found you." The guy smiled creepily. "I can finally play with you again… Lei."
