41 Selfish Thoughts

"Are you my true love?" Lei Grospe asked Noah Sevilla. Noah was shocked. Why does she know that 'he' is her true love? Anyway, Noah nodded.

"How did…" Noah was about to ask her but Lei interrupt him.

"You called me." Lei smiled. She remembered how the voice called her like she was about to disappear like a bubble. She felt… something and different. It is not the feeling of what her parents are giving her. So the only thing that came to her mind is her true love. "You just gave me hope a while ago and I'm very thankful."

Noah suddenly blushed because he doesn't remember calling her out loud, but instead he kept calling her name in his head and keep saying sorry and that he promises that he will protect her no matter what.

Noah was about to say something when the door opened. It was Chase and Adam, and as they saw Lei smiling at them they immediately run into her. They hugged Lei like there's no tomorrow.

"I'm sorry for scaring you both." Lei hugged back to them even harder. In her dreams, she kept calling and calling because she knows that her both daddy will never leave her.

"You scared us, baby," Chase said and looked at her face. "You're pale baby, did you had a nightmare."

Lei nodded and she started to shiver when she remembered what was just about to happen to her in her dream. "I was so scared. I finally able to see his face, dad! I was hiding in a small compartment. The man said that we're both playing and I can't beat him in his own game. When he found me…"

"Baby, take your time," Adam said and patted Lei's head.

"…when he found me he dragged me somewhere. I screamed and pleaded to him to let me go but he just laughs it off. He said that we're still not done playing." As she finished what she remembered in her dreams, Lei tears started pouring down.

"So you had a REM sleep and able to remembered what happened," Chase said.

"Dad, I heard his voice," Lei said and pointed at Noah who's standing right at their back. Chase and Adam didn't saw him until now. Since when did he get in here? "He's the one that brings me back."

"Oh?" Chase smiled. Adam just stands there and process the information he got. "What did he do?"

"Well…" Lei was blushing and hiding her face at the blanket in her bed. "…he called me when the man was about to do something to me."

"Heh… so you called her." Chase was grinning at Noah Sevilla. He, too also blushed.

Noah was about to say something but the door suddenly opened. He thought a deja vu. It was Kaxs Nobles who are holding a coffee in her hand together with the man called Gev Chiyun.

When Lei saw Kaxs blank face she became brighter. "Kaxs! Is that my Macchiato?"

"Yes." Kaxs face also become brighter as she saw her very best friend waking up. "You scared us as usual."

Lei scratches her head. "Hehe, sorry."

Gev Chiyun smiled because he was not used to seeing Kaxs having a worried face but it was definitely worth seeing. Is that a bad thing? He thought.
