She approached them and as she saw Gev's serious face, it is definitely about Lei. Her 6th sense doesn't betray her after all.

Kaxs can see that Gev doesn't want to say it but he knows her personality now and he definitely can't avoid her curious eyes.

Gev told her everything. About his conversation with Adam and Chase and about Noah's gut feelings about that person observing them right now somewhere in the hospital.

Her face turned grave. "This won't do," she stated. Gev raised his eyebrow at her. "If the police won't help us then we must be the one who will act, right here and right now."

"No." Gev refused her strongly. "Didn't you heard what I said earlier? The person that wants to kidnap Lei is smart and clever. A real deal criminal. And if we act now, he will definitely sense it and maybe use it to take Lei's away from us."

Kaxs Nobles look at Gev like they're battling in silence. Gev was shocked when he saw her determined eyes. Gev doesn't want to back away because this might be the time when she will die. He has to protect her no matter what.

Gev still doesn't understand that he's concerned with Kaxs in a different way. "And you might hurt yourself."

Kaxs blink and scoff. "Like hell, he can hurt me," she said and closed her eyes. 'I've been hurt already so it doesn't matter.' Kaxs thought.

Noah Sevilla who's watching them suddenly back away because of the intense aura that Gev and Kaxs giving. He saw Lei's eyes on him so he smiled and approached her.

Chase and Adam had their own phone call so they went outside.

Noah caress Lei's face and they're started giving off a fluffy aura.

Gev and Kaxs noticed it. 'They're flirting.' they both thought and rolled their eyes.

"You will help me, right?" Kaxs whispered at Gev while looking fondly at Lei.

"Yes," Gev answered and patted Kaxs head. Gev smiled when he saw that Kaxs didn't scratch his hand and let him pat her. "Since we also found Lei's true love, we should also protect him. Right now, she's Lei's happiness aside from his parents."

Gev saw Kaxs looked at him incredulously. He raised his eyebrow. "What?"

"That chubby guy that almost killed Lei is Lei's true love? Are you bullsh*ting me?" Kaxs asked him.

Gev flick Kaxs's forehead. "Idiot, can't you see Lei's eyes? They're shinning like a milky way! That chubby guy is called Noah Sevilla and I think he's a reliable man, you can trust Lei to him."

"And how did you know that he's reliable?" Kaxs asked as she watched the couple like a cat.

"He didn't chicken out." Gev nonchalantly said.

"That's it?" Kaxs scoffed.

"Of course. When he found out that Lei is in danger instead of running away to protect himself, he didn't do it. He will protect Lei because he is her true love. Even if we don't believe in such a thing called true love, forever and fate, there are still people who believe in it. Stupid as it sounds but we can't blame them. That is how they feel and that is how they will live." Gev said unconsciously and doesn't even remember what he said.
