17 Kevin Wang

Kevin Wang came from a prestige family. Ever since he was young, he got whatever he wanted. Be it, toys, cars, clothes, and girls. He had everything so he became extremely bored. He was bored of everything because nothing ever changes… especially himself.

His parents didn't bother with him. All he would do was stay at his grandmother's place and be with her. Kevin's grandmother was a very lovely person. She wanted his grandson to be happy because that's the only thing that she can give to him. She supported him no matter what decisions he made.

However, sometimes, his grandmother opposed when she really thought that his decisions weren't good for him. His grandmother was his mother and father. As long as his grandmother was there, that's all that mattered to Kevin.

Kevin Wang had his very best friends. They're the only ones who knew the true him besides his grandmother. They introduced him to a lot of beautiful girls but none pique his interest. Those girls were too easy to see through. They only wanted his money.

His parents forced him to study foreign languages even though he didn't want to. Kevin didn't have a choice so he started learning and around a month ago, he won some award but he wasn't happy. Kevin stood there smiling fakely. His parents were very proud of him but it didn't give him even the slightest happiness.

Then he saw Danna. He was pulled to her. He didn't know why. Kevin asked his friends if they knew that girl and when he heard her name, his heart started pounding like it was about to burst. He couldn't believe that he fell in love at first sight. Her scar doesn't hinder her beauty. Kevin wondered what her character was like. He just stared at her idiot-ly and when their eyes met, the stars came to him and started singing and dancing. Her eyes were so beautiful and he saw in the depth of her eyes, a lot of stories to be told. He wanted to know what's that story was.

At first, he was very shy to get to know her. He was very nervous that he came to his grandmother to ask some advice.

"Grandmother, I finally saw her!" Kevin shouted.

His grandmother's eyes shine brightly. "Really? Is she beautiful?"

"She's more than that! Grandma, I don't know what to do. She's so wonderful that I don't even have the courage to talk to her." Kevin said.

His grandmother smiled. "Silly child, a woman has a lot of insecurities; that's why a man should always give her the sense of security. That, you will always be her side no matter what. If she doesn't have a confidence in herself, you just need to reassure her that you will be hers. You need to accept her weakness and learn to love it. Go child and make that woman yours."

Kevin smiled and kissed her on her cheeks. "Thank you, Grandma."

When Danna agreed to go out with him, the feeling he had was the most incredible feeling he ever felt. Being with Danna gives him a lot of confidence. When she started to loosen up to him and started joking with him, he was very happy.

Kevin went home and started studying because he was in a great mood when suddenly his mother called him. She gave him an album.

He frowned at her. "What's this?" He asked.

"Say it to me when you are ready, pick a bride-to-be in that album." His mother said happily.

"No." He said and placed the album on the table.

His mother frowned. "What do you mean no?"

"I will pick my own bride and don't even bother to try to force me to choose. Don't make me hate you, mother." He said and walked to his own room.

Danna is the only person he will marry and that's it.
