1 01: SABRINA - The Girl Who Loves To Scare People

Hi my name is Sabrina Sapphire Spirat(pronounced as SPEAR-rat) and I'm a tall 17 year old girl with Auburn hair, blue eyes, and white skin.

My favorite part of the year is when I get to go to summer camp cause that's when I get to tell all the other kids ghost stories and scare the daylights out of them. I've always loved to tell ghost stories and scare the daylights out of everyone my whole life, so that's probably the reason why nobody believed me when I found out that something was really haunted. Not even a GHOST believes me!!!!

Never mind. I don't want to give everything away at the start of the story.

I'm a senior at Myrtle High in Mississippi and have a few friends there who I also love to scare. I live in a big 3 story purple house that has a ton of rooms and I live with my parents. My Mom is named Megan, my dad is Ben and little sister named Lillian(we call her Lily). For some weird reason I don't look 1% like my dad. He has black hair and blue eyes and I have Auburn hair with blue eyes. I might've gotten the blue eye gene from him but my mom also has them. My mom is a brunette with blue eyes, but I guess girls look more like their mother anyway and maybe one of them had redheads in their past family.

We live  Mississippi in a town called Ghostville and everyone seemed to believe in ghosts until I came along and told tons my stories. They probably believed in them since the town was built in the area where abandoned Bodie California was.

Lily is my 6 years old sister with black hair and blue eyes, but her hair might get a little brown when Lily becomes a teenager. She is surely a big scaredy-cat.

I am always scaring Lily all over town, but there is an old scary building which really looks haunted that seems to scare her the most. It is a giant 3 story wooden building with a huge garage that's covered in dust and spider webs and all the entrances are closed off.

I'd better get my story started, but don't worry I'm telling the truth.

I was wandering around the house one afternoon when I looked out the window to see that Lily was just sitting against a tree in the backyard. I got a glass of ice water and then went out the door.

"Hey Lily what are you up to?" I asked.

"I'm just sitting around enjoying nature I guess." She said.

"It's pretty late though. Is it OK if I join you?" I asked.

"I guess so." Lily said with a nervous look on her face.

I sat down and we started to talk.

After a while Lily started to annoy me by not shutting up about her Barbie collection so I thought it was time to start a ghost story.

"DID YOU HEAR THAT?!" I suddenly said pretty loudly.

"Uh...No." Lily replied.

"I could've sworn I saw something move by that bush over there. By the way what time is it Lily?" I asked.

"I didn't see or hear anything. It's 5:30 PM." She said.

"Uh oh! Have you ever heard about the rabid raccoon ghost? I found out about it yesterday." I said.

"Oh come on Sabrina. You're just trying to scare me again." Lily said, rolling her eyes.

"No I'm not! This one is true! Haven't you noticed that there are a lot more raccoons around lately?" I said pretending to be nervous.

"Yeah but so what. I love raccoons." Lily said.

"You won't like this one!!! The ghost raccoon appears at our street at 5:00. It goes all over town at different night times and if you are bitten you turn into a rabid raccoon!!!" I said.

"I think it's starting to get a little up cold." I said as I secretly put an ice cube from my drink in my mouth so it looked like you could see my breath.

Lily was starting to look really terrified.

Then I pinched her from behind and she shrieked

"AHH!!! IT BIT ME!!!"

Then Lily turned around to see that I had only pinched her.

"I can't believe you fell for that!!" I said as I laughed my head off.

"Will you stop doing that Sabrina?! You know I'm terrified of ghosts!!" Lily said as she started to cry.

"Oh come on scaredy cat! You know that there are ghosts haunting things out there!" I said.

"Oh give me a break! Of course not!!" Lily said and then suddenly our mom called us in for dinner.

Lily ran inside and went up to mom crying.

"Sabrina won't stop telling Ghost stories and scaring me!" she screamed.

"Will you please stop doing this to your poor sister!" Mom said.

"What do you mean? I'm telling the truth." I said.

"NO YOU AREN'T!" Lily screamed as she hid behind mom's back.

"Come on girls. Let's go have dinner." Mom said.

We went into the dining room, but Lily was still holding on to mom's hand looking pretty scared and angry at me.

Dad was sitting at the table with the food when we came in.

After he served up the roast beef he looked over and saw that Lily was sad.

"what's wrong Lily?" He asked.

"Sabrina keeps on telling Ghost stories and scaring me!" she screamed.

Dad shook his head and Said "Sabrina! Please stop torturing your sister!"

"Maybe you should keep a writing journal to put all your scary story ideas in." Mom said.

She was always telling me to do this! I like to write my scary stories but telling them is So much more fun.

Then Dad suddenly said "Speaking of writing, your English teacher called Sabrina. She said all of the stories you've been writing in English class are inappropriate ghost ones, so if you don't want to get a D or F in your final grade you should start writing more happy and creative stories."

My English teacher has always been driving me crazy by telling me to change how I write. I've been trying to keep it a Secret but I guess it finally got out.

"Oh come on! I'm still using my imagination to write good stories!" I said.

"Yes but you are using it in a violent and scary way. It's almost the end of the year so if you want to get a good grade you should try harder." Mom said.

I just hate it when my parents tell me what to do! Luckily I had finished eating a while ago so I got up and Said "Yeah. Maybe tomorrow I'll write a story about a girl who was bossed around by her parents."

Both my parents looked pretty angry and disappointed as I left the table. Lily also looked a little scared still.

When I got to my room I was pretty mad. My parents are always telling me to stop telling Ghost stories and now my teacher is too?! Sorry guys but nobody can put an end to my scary tales.
