The girl who always smile

In Starlight Highschool , there was a girl who always smile. No matter how bad the situation was or how bad other people treated her, she always carried a smile on her face. She believed that one's smile will brighten up someone else's day and cheer them up.

The girl wanted to change the world with her smile so that everyone who saw her smile will smile too and be happy.

And her name was Joy. Joy's mother gave her that name before she passed away on the hospital bed. Her father told her that the reason her mother gave her that name was because her mother hoped that she will always be happy and bring joy to others. This was also one of the reason why she always smile.

But then, who in the world would thought there was someone who wanted to kill that smile. He couldn't stand another second looking at the smile on Joy's face. Oh, how nice and fun would it be if he turn her smiling face into full of tears, he thought.

That 'he' was Jackson. He was 18 years old, same age as Joy. He was also in the same school as Joy too.

From young till now, he has never been happy. His father divorced his mother when he was 5 years old. He left them for another woman. He still remembered how he begged his father not to go. Instead of staying, his father kicked him in the stomach and left.

Jackson had a younger brother who was 15 years old, three years younger than him. His brother was almost good in everything which caused his mother to favour his brother more. His mother even called him a good for nothing and a useless child because he was never good in his studies or anything. He always got into fights with his classmates.

Jackson also had a group of friends who he always skip class with. They were the friends he made since his first in highschool.

Jackson knew Joy during his third year and he had been bullying her since then. He wanted to see her cry and shed tears but he failed to because everytime he bullied her by calling her names, spread fake rumours about her and even hitting her sometimes, she would still smile and laugh it off.

There was one time Jackson slapped Joy in the face and pulled her hair very hard. Then, he asked her if it hurts , she just said no and let him continued hitting her until he was satisfied.

He also threatened Joy that if she told the teacher about him bullying her, he would make sure to skin her alive.
