3 The Comforts And The Moon Accompanied

"The field trip, huh."

Said Seiji under his breath remembering Mera plan into making him going out with Sonohara Yuki on the field trip event

"You hear, whatever happen you need to confess your love to her."

"Huuuuh!? Since when that I say that I like her?"

"You didn't really need to hide it you know. It pretty clear you are in love with her"

Said Mera while sitting on the sofa sipping her tea.

"By the way, Just leave all thing to me and I will make sure you two go out."

Said Mera while making "leave it to me" pose. Seiji on the other side just nod but looking down at the same time. Mera who had notice it speak out her words

"What's wrong with you?"

"You didn't seem happy at all."

"For your information, I'm doing all this kind of thing just to save your future, you know."

"At least be a little grateful toward me you know."

Said Mera while pinching Seiji cheek

"O-ow!"

Scream Seiji hurt by Mera pinch. He then spoke

"I know I know, It just I still can't believe that I'm going to die in the near future and here you who claim's to be from the future came here to save my future."

"I-I'm afraid. Afraid of dying."

"What if all of this plan never work out, Th-then am I really going to die."

After saying that Seiji look like he's going to burst into tears he's been looking the ground for a couple of minute trying to hold out the tears.

Both of them sit on their sofa awkward by their situation. Mera then can't stand the silence break the awkward silence by patting Seiji head.

"There there,"

Seiji whose right now getting a headpat from Mera got surprised and blush a little.

"What are you doing?"

A little voice came out of Seiji mouth asking Mera what she's doing even though he knew what actually was she doing. Mera on the other hand still patting his head.

"There there, Everything will be alright."

"For now just let me take care of it. I promise to you that I won't ever let you die at all."

Seiji after hearing that start to burst into tears and hug Mera. Mera who was taken to surprise by Seiji hug turn to smile and hug him back."

-Present day-

Seiji face start to turn red after remembering last evening event where he let out a cry and hug Mera.

(Aaaaaaaah! Why the hell that I do all that kind of thing's.)

Said Seiji inside his head. Suddenly he thought last night event where he hug her and became red.

Sonohara whose been looking towards Seiji start to stand up from her seat and walk towards him

"U-um, Hatake-kun are you alright?"

"Your face look red. Are you having a fever?"

Sonohara ask Seiji question about his condition. Her basuty face go filled with worried. Seiji on the other hand was surprised by how sudden that Sonohara talk to him."Sonohara talk to me?" is what he thought in his head

"I-I'm fine you know Sonohara-san."

Said Seiji didn't want to make Sonohara worried.

"R-really."

"If you didn't feel well I can tell teacher and ask him to let you go home early."

"Seriously I'm really fine."

Said Seiji while waving his hand in front of him.

"Is that so, then don't push yourself if you ever felt unwell."

"You could always talk to me anytime you know."

Said Sonohara still worried with Seiji condition

"Yeah, Alright I will."

With that Sonohara goes back to her seat and leave Seiji back into his space. Seiji who starting to take his breath back got startled by Mera who saw everything. Having a smirk on her face she then open her mouth.

"Hoho, Not bad for a person like you to already make a move on Sonohara-san after we talk about her last night."

"I-Its not like what you think."

"She only ask about my condition."

"Heeeee, Doesn't that mean she is worried about you."

"That girl is not bad too y making the first move."

"Great, all of this is going along with my plan."

With a smirk on her face she claps her hand looking like she is making an evil plan. Seiji whose been looking at Mera start to ask a question.

"You really sure that this is going to work right."

"Your plan. I mean cause you know I-I trust you."

"Yeah, Just leave it to me!"

Said Mera while showing off a big smile in front of Seiji. Seiji on the other hand turn his face away to hide his embarrassed face

Mera then take her seat as the teacher already got into the class.

The teacher then start to talk about the field trip to Kyoto to his class

"Lastly, I would give out the groups for the field trip."

"Group number 1."

"Violet,Sonohara,Arima,Tsubaki and Hatake"

"Eh, I'm in the same group as Sonohara"

As Seiji notice this he make his eye's toward Mera. Mera who notice Seiji start to smile and give out a thumb's up.

"That woman, How the heck that she manage to get us in the same group?"

Said Seiji while scratching his head wondering what Mera've done.

~After School~

Seiji after the class ended start to pack up his stuff into his bag. When he done he then stand up and walk to the door.

Then from the back someone is tapping on Seiji shoulder. When Seiji turn there he saw Mera looking at him with a mischieve smile.

"What do you want?"

"Nothing much just want to ask that are you free on Saturday."

Ask Mera curious while looking like she have another plan to make.

"Are you planning something again?"

"How rude, Who do you think I am to just make plan for a lousy boy like you."

"Well no need to get angry, by the way I'm free on this Saturday though."

"Of course I'm going to get angry You Idiot."

"I'm really sorry Mera."

"Please forgive me."

Said Seiji while putting his hand together to ask an apologize from Mera. Mera who is pouting right now look at Seiji with a fierce face. Seiji looking at that face of her got terrified a bit.

"I can accept your apologize…"

"R-really?"

"But with one condition."

"A condition?"

"What kind of condition?"

Ask Seiji looking surprise. Mera who is pouting before is now smiling and thn turn her face toward Seiji She then ask.

"This Saturday You're going to accompanies us going shopping for the field trip preparation."

"H-huuuh?!"

__The Promise Day__

Seiji wearing his usual clothe when he at outside of his house is standing in front of the promise place. He then look at his watch to know the tie. The time is 9:30 a.m.in the morning. Seiji slowly start to lose his patience tapping the ground with his foot to calm himself down."

"That woman Mera, Just where is she at?"

Last day when Seiji was ask out by Mera.

"Accompanies you, Shopping?"

"Yeup, and why the hell did you look so surprised."

"Ah, sorry I forgot that you never had experienced going out with a girl before aren't you?"

"Y-you…"

Seiji who want to scold at Mera change his intention cause what was she said was pure true and because he didn't want to see Mera terrifying face ever again.

"Well don't worry about it because both of us to doesn't have any experience going out with a boy before."

"Just wait a minute, I've been curious from the started."

"What do you really mean by 'us'?"

"Huh? I didn't tell you yet that there is one more person that is going to join us aren't I"

"You didn't!"

"By the way who is the other person that going to be join us?"

Ask Seiji putting his hand on his chest to calm himself down from scolding Mera. Mera then smirk while putting one of her finger on her mouth and let out a cute voice saying.

"S-E-C-R-E-T~"

Seiji look at his watch for another couple of time and start to look like his losing patience if he need to wait for another couple of minute

"That girl really are…"

"What with it being a secret."

"Haih, I'm so curious about the person Mera invite?"

"Was the person someone that I knew."

"If it's true then who is it"

"someone from my class?"

Seiji who now making some conclusion about the person being someone he knew make him overthinking.

*Sighed*

"At this kind of time I wonder what Sonohara is doing right now."

After saying that Seiji stand in his position for a couple of minutes. Then he started to sit down on the bench behind him and slowly covered his face with his hand.

"Aaaah, even at rhis kind of time I can still think about Sonohara aren't I."

Then from a distance hear a girl voice shouting Seiji name. Seiji then turn his face toward the voice coming from.

There he see Mera is waving towards him and there is another figure of a girl standing behind her.

"You're late, what were you doing?"

"I'm sorry, its hard to get this girl to change her clothes after all."

Said Mera while pointing to the girl behind her. Seiji who was curious about the person identity hurriedly make his eye toward the girl behind Mera.

What shocking is the person that Seiji is looking right now is actually Sonohara. He then take a couple of look as like he wants to confirm what he seeing.

"U-um Hatake-kun, I'm sorry that you need to wait long for us."

"And what's more you even accompanies us today"

Seiji who've been standing still from before then dragged Mera hand to talk in private.

"Wh-what the hell. How did you manage to ask Sonohara out."

"Hehe, its actually easy if you already know what your targert really want actually."

After saying that Mera let her hand off from Seiji grip and shout…

"Well then let's go to our shopping for the field trip."

"O-oooh"

Both Seiji and Sonohara replied with an awkward tone. Both of them then take a glance on each other.

The three of them then walk into the mall to get what they need for the field trip.

"First we will go here!"

Said Mera while standing in front of the Woman's underwear store. Seiji who is looking in the store have his mouth hanging. He then start to blush and surprisingly Sonohara is blushing too.

"Th-then I will wait outside."

"Nope can't do."

"Wh-why?"

"Well the second reason is because we need a man opinion."

"And the first is?"

"To tease you of course."

Said while giving off a cute-evil smirk.

"Well, I already predict it."

After they've done with that store. They continued to go to the next store.

"Next is here!"

"Clothes Store?"

"Yeup"

"I just want this to end quickly so just get it done already."

"Hmph, You can't be like that you know."

"This is the reason why you never get a girlfriend."

"Sh-shut up."

"You hear, when woman dressed up just for you, you must compliment her outfit."

"If you don't do that, It means you have failed as a man."

"Yeah yeah, I know already."

Said Seiji while waving his hand to ask Mera to go.

"Hmph, Let's go Yuki-chan."

Seiji heard that got shock.

"U-um Yeah."

"Yuki-chan?"

"I want to call her that too."

Murmur Seiji alone in the corner of the store. After a couple fo minute Sonohara got out of her dress room.

"U-um Hatake-kun what is your opinion about this dress?."

Ask Sonohara showing her dress that she tries on while blushing a bit.

"I-I think it was nice."

"It look really great on you."

Said Seiji with a flustered face. Sonohara after hearing that got cheered up.

"I guess I will buy this one then."

She then go back into her dressing room. On the other hand Seiji who had notice from the started look at Mera who is eavesdropping their conversation start to speak up.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm observing two people who is slowly building bond with each other."

"It doesn't look like that to me though."

"Hmph"

Pout Mera. She then came out of the dress room. She start to turn a little making her blouse to blow as she was doing it to get a compliment from Seiji too. Seiji who look at Mera doing that just turn away. Frustrated Mera shout.

"Seiji you idiot!"

"Shut up you're the one who is an idiot."

Said Seiji holding a hairpin on his hand. He then out the hairpin on Mera hair.

"I think your clothes is looking good too."

"And just by chance I found this hairpin that look nice with your dress."

"So I thought I should let you try it."

Said Seiji blushing a little. He then look at Mera to see her reaction and what he see is a blushing Mera. Her face is red just like tomato.

Seiji who got shock by a blushing Mera start to mutter his words.

"A-ah are you okay."

"Did I just say something you didn't like."

"N-Not…"

"No, What?"

"N-NOTHING YOU IDIOT!!!"

Flustered Mera then got and and goes back to her dress room leaving Seiji alone outside the dress room.

"So did I really say something she didn't like after all."

*Sighed*

"I really don't know what woman is thinking."

Seiji who is wondering what's wrong he did walk towards the store exit doors. While Mera who just got inside her dress her room mutter some word under breath.

"Seiji you idiot."

"You're always being honest."

"That is why I like you though."

After they finish buying their stuff they get to the train station to go home.

"Thanks, Mera-san Hatake-kun for accompanying me shopping today."

"N-no actually me too want to say thanks because you ask me to go out with you."

"That's right Yuki-chan, if you ever need anything just tell me and I will help you with it."

With that Sonohara parted away from them. That leave the both of Seiji and Mera alone.

"Th-thanks…"

"Eh?"

"Y-you know for today. I had so much fun."

"Is that so, then good for you."

"Well I want to say my thanks too because you invited me today too."

"Ah yeah, You're welcome."

The situation got silence and awkward.

"U-um"

"U-um"

Both of them talk at the same time.

"Y-you first."

"Eh? Is it alright?"

"Y-yeah just spit it out."

"I'm looking forward for it…"

"For what?

"The field trip."

Said Seiji while smiling. His smile got bright up by the moon light. Mera then walk beside him and speak.

"Yeup, Me too"

Then the both of them walk down the street accompanied by the Moon light.
