7 Is This Our Goodbye?

Out of sudden some tears drop on the letter. Seiji as he I crying just rushed to take his jacket and run to the hospital. He put the letter inside his jacket pocket.

Arriving at the hospital. He rushed in to Fuyumi room. Inside he saw Fuyumi is sitting on her bed looking out of the window. Fuyumi then notice that Seiji is standing in front of the door.

She only smiles when she saw Kaitou came in.

"You're late!" Said Fuyumi while wearing the thing that looks like the watch.

"Fuyumi…" Kaitou putting on a sad face looking at Fuyumi eyes.

"Seiji… This might be my last chance to see you like this… So, I make the decision on to wait for you to properly said goodbye." Said Fuyumi.

Kaitou then slowly approaching Fuyumi bed. He then looks at Fuyumi face.

"You don't have to do this you know. Don't go…" Said Kaitou while holding Fuyumi hands.

Then Fuyumi looks at Seiji face smiling.

"I'm sorry… but I can't do that."

"Why?"

"Because this is something I need to do. It is my role to make you happy."

"Just you being here make me happy. So…"

Just before Seiji could finish his word. Fuyumi interrupted.

"Hey, Seiji I am going to die soon you know…"

Hearing Fuyumi said that Seiji got shocked a bit. There is a look of sad on his face.

"That's why I want to do this, To live my life to the fullest before I really gone from this world."

"stop…"

"Eh?' Fuyumi as she was confused with what Seiji said tilted her head.

"Stop saying the things that you felt like it was only a small thing! Why are you still putting that smile! You are going to die you know!" Shouts Seiji.

On his face can be seen that anger and sadness is mixed. He had thought of why this world have to be this cruel. Just when Seiji are releasing his anger out of sudden Fuyumi hugs Seiji. Seiji was taken by surprise of Fuyumi action.

"Shh… I know. This world is cruel right…"

"But even though it is cruel it always gave us another chance to start again."

Seiji turn his heads up to look at Fuyumi.

"And that's why I want to take those chances to start all over again. To find my own feelings."

"I also want to ask for your blessing Seiji… Let me go… Let me find what I need to find."

"Let me once again meet with you… Let me once again spend my highschool life with you… Let me once again…"

"Fell in love with you…"

As she said that she then put her hands on both of Seiji cheek.

"And before I go let me once again see your smile."

Fuyumi then put her fingers on Seiji cheek and make him smile. Seiji then put away Fuyumi hands from his face.

"Can smile by my own self you know." Said Seiji while showing off a happy smile.

Fuyumi looking at him smiling smile back. Both of them then laugh at each other.

Seiji then calm himself down and once again look at Fuyumi face. With a serious face he speaks up.

"Are you really going to do all of this?"

"Yeah, I've already makes my decision after all!" Said Fuyumi making a cute face.

"Well the, I guess I can't stop you at all… All I can do is just pray for your safety…"

"Yeah!"

Seiji sniff before he looks again at Fuyumi face.

"I really going to miss you…"

"Yeah…"

"I will miss your laugh…"

"Yeah…"

"And also your smile…"

"Yeup…"

"And the most thing I will miss is your face…"

"Yeah…"

Then slowly tears came out of Seiji eyes.

"AAhh… Really why am I crying now… I really don't want you to go…" Said Kaitou tears still coming out of his eye.

"I'm sorry but I can't do that…"

"I know but still I feel like it…"

"It is time…"

Fuyumi then let go of Seiji and turned to the watch. She clicks several button on the watch and it start making sound. There are also some lights that fill Fuyumi body. Seiji then looks down to the ground as he doesn't want to see Fuyumi leave.

"Seiji please promise me one thing…"

"What is it?" Seiji then looks up at Fuyumi. He also forced a smile on his face.

"Please promise me not to forget about me…"

"What are you talking about… I will never, ever forget you in my life because…"

"You are my lights in the darkest day…"

Fuyumi just smile as she looks at the face of the guy she loves. She then feels like she is going to regret not doing this.

Out of sudden Fuyumi kisses Seiji on his mouth.

"Bye-bye Seiji!"

Said Fuyumi as she disappeared into nothingness. She also said something at the last minute after kissing Seiji. Seiji didn't really hear it because at that time she has already gone. But Seiji had known what she is going to say. It is…

Just like that Seiji then leave the hospital. As he walks out, he bumped into Yuki. Yuki as she looks at Seiji face just put a sad smile.

"So, she has gone…" Ask Yuki.

"Yeah…" Replied Seiji with a slow voice.

"You know?" Ask Seiji.

"Yeah it is last night that she told me about it. Even though I really don't understand it but what I think at that time is that I just want her to feel happy and let her go. Sometimes I regret doing something but I didn't feel any regret letting her go finding her own happiness."

"I want to say that you did a terrible job but I can't because it is what she wants after all… I can't blame you."

"Thanks…" Said Yuki walking passing Seiji.

Seiji then walked from the place. He then arrives at the side road where he first saw "Mera". He just smiles thinking about how was their first meet.

He then walked again for another minute until he arrives at the park where he save "Mera"…

He then decided to take a seat on the park benched. He then sighed as remembering his fate.

Seiji then looked at the sky. He still thinking about Fuyumi… Just when he was thinking about her snow comes down.

"Snow?" Said Seiji.

"I really am unlucky aren't I… I felt cold…" Said Seiji while rubbing his hands together.

"Then would you like to use this." Said the voice of a girl holding out a glove to Seiji.

"Huh? Don't your mom didn't teach you not to talk with a stranger?" Said Seiji looking down the ground.

"Well my mom does tell me not to talk with a stranger… But you are not a stranger…" Said the girl. There is a joy in her voice.

"Huh?" As Seiji is confused with what the girl is saying he looks up to see the girl face. He was shocked the moment their eyes meet.

"You are someone I love Seiji!" Said Fuyumi…

Seiji eyes were fill with tears the moment he see Fuyumi standing infront of him.

"H-how?" Ask Seiji.

"Hmm, How did I'm standing infront of you right now?" Said Fuyumi. Kaitou just nodded.

"That is easy…" Said the guy in a lab coat.

He came out from behind the tree. Casually walking towards them.

"I'm the one who brings her here."

"And who are you?"

"I'm a mad scientist from the future who helps this unlucky woman who had an unknown ill to be as she is now."

"What? How?"

"It is easy the future technology had already evolves, and we have already known what is her unknown ill."

"That's mean…"

Before Seiji could finish his word the guy interrupted.

"That's mean she could be cured and have already been cured!" Said the guy with a joy face.

Seiji stand at his place not moving still surprise because he didn't really think that there is this kind of method.

"If you had already had the cure why didn't you give it to her the time you meet with her before?" Ask Seiji

The guy only smiles and put his hand on Seiji shoulder.

"If I ever do that… Then "we" will never meet her at all."

Seiji just nodded his head showing that he is understand.

"Wait what do you mean by we!?"

"Yosh! It's time for me to go home already!" The guy as he ignored Seiji question take a couple of steps back.

He then touched several buttoned just like what Fuyumi did before.

"Oi! At least tell us who you really are?!" Said Seiji.

"Sorry that is a secret! And one more thing Seiji-san please take good care of her." Said the guy disappearing to nothingness.

"Even if you didn't say that I would do it." Said Seiji feelings angry.

But then Seiji looks at Fuyumi who just stand still at her own place smiling at him.

"Hey…" Said Seiji.

"Hey." Replied Fuyumi.

"So, you are already fine?"

"Yeah!"

Both of them then get into a silence situation.

"U-um!"

"U-um!"

Bot of them talk at the same time. The both of them then get flustered out of sudden.

"You go first…" Said Fuyumi.

Seiji eye open wide just smile while looking at Fuyumi.

"Welcome home Fuyumi!" Said Seiji.

"I'm home! Seiji!"

Both of them start to laugh feelings happy. Then Seiji kisses Fuyumi on her mouth.
