4 I'm not going anywhere

After a long time of wait, finally the day has come The School Field Trip day.

Seiji after having his breakfast start packing his thing up and goes straight to the door. After he finished wearing his shoes he then grab on the doorknob to open the door.

*creak* The door squeaking.

When Seiji only let one of his leg out he was surprised by Mera who was standing in front of the door.

"Uww-wa." Shout Seiji surprised

"Hahahaha."

"You really easy to be played off." Said Mera while trying to hide his laughing face.

Seiji after getting his composure back hit Mera on the head with the sandal that was on his shoes rack.

"Ow!"

"Hey, What was that for?" Ask Mera while rubbing her head.

"You really getting energetic this kind of morning." Said Seiji while putting back the sandals on it place

"Of course, Did you forget today is the field trip day."

"Aaah, I can't wait to go and have so much fun." Said Mera dancing around in happiness.

"Well, Obviously I knew that."

"I just want to know why you so happy with it?"

"It just another normal field trip." Said Seiji then walked away from his house.

Mera who see Seiji leaving catch to Seiji pace and walk beside him.

"What do you mean it just another normal field trip?" Ask Mera having an angry face.

"Don't you know that the field trip is when we hang out together with our friends."

"Uwwaa, There we goes." Think Seiji while making 'I'm not interested' face.

"And they also said that when you go to a field trip is when you goes and let out your feeling's to the person you like."

"Eh, Why?" Ask Seiji confused.

Mera looking at Seiji and start to smirk.

"Hmph, this is why you still doesn't have a girlfriend you know."

Seiji looking irritated state his thought.

"Well, Sorry for being a coward."

"Well, I'm not blaming you for that."

"Cause I know what kind of person you are."

"Mera."

Seiji start to blush a little after hearing what Mera just said. He then change the topic.

"B-by the way from the way you talk about the field trip I could just assume you didn't ever go to any school field trip aren't you."

Mera hearing what Seiji just said startled a bit. "Ah, I was right."think Seiji in his head.

"Th-that's right so what's wrong with me being happy about the field trip?"

"There's nothing wrong with it at all."

"So that's the story huh." Murmur Seiji under his breath

"Did you just said something?" Ask Mera.

"Nothing. I just said let's have fun on this field trip."

"Yeah!" Said Mera with joy flashing on her face.

With that both of them arrive at school. Sonohara who was standing on the corner alone wave her hand toward both of them. Mera start running toward Sonohara and hugged her.

"Yuki-chan, Sorry I'm late."

"Its okay Mera-chan, both of you come right on time."

Said Sonohara while patting Mera head. Sonohara the lift her eyes up to look at Seiji. Seiji who notice Sonohara looking at him give a smile. Sonohara give Seiji a warm smile back.

Then the teacher ask them to rode the bus because they are going to take off.

Seiji then rode the bus. Inside the bus Seiji wondering searching for a seat. He then look around and see Mera and Sonohara have already seat down.

Then something catch his eye. A hand is waving in the air calling Seiji. Seiji walk toward the hand and found his classmate Arima Souta beside him is an empty seat.

Seiji then settle down and the bus take off.

"Thank you, You really help me there."

"Its okay Its okay. After all we are on the same group."

"Oh, That's right."

(If I remember our teacher did say Arima name when the group was form) Thought Seiji.

"Then let's get into it."

"Lets get into what?"

"Between Violet-san and Sonohara-san which one of them do you like the most."

*Pft*

Seiji after hearing the words that came out from Arima mouth spit out his drink.

"W-what do you mean b-by like."

"Well you seem pretty near to Violet-san and lately Sonohara-san talk with you right?"

"Well that's right. But…" Seiji Stuck on his word

"Can't choose huh."

"Well in my opinion I prefer Violet-san."

"Eh?" Seiji hearing that startled

"Sonohara-san is pretty good too but my first choice is still Violet-san."

"W-why?" Ask Seiji curious.

"Eh, why huh."

"Maybe it was because she is pretty, friendly, strong, she become friends with everybody, she is also a smart person."

"Even though she is a clumsy person."

"That is the part that I like about her."

(I see, this guy is in love with Mera. Well that can't be helped she is pretty after all but what is this feeling. The feeling like my heart is crumbling. I shouldn't be like this I should be happy for both of them but really what is this feeling) Think Seiji.

Seiji then put his hand near his heart to calm it down.

"Are you alright, Seiji-san."

"O-oh yeah."

"By the way can I call you Seiji-san cause it make me easy to say it?"

"Y-yeah you can."

"Really thanks."

"Seiji-san may I ask you one question?"

"Y-yeah go ahead." Said Seiji sipping his bottle of tea to calm himself.

"Does Violet-san have a girlfriend?"

Again Seiji spit out his drink

"Ar-are you alright?"

"Y-yeah I'm fine just the bus is moving too much."

"Is that so?"

Seiji replied with nodding his head a couple of time.

"If that's the case then."

"By the way about my ques…"

"Doesn't have."

"Eh What did you just said Seiji-san?"

"I said she doesn't have any."

"Really, That's a relief."

"Yeah why you ask that question?"

"U-um its because I love her."

Seiji hearing those word have his eye wide open the kind of shocked he take this time different cause he already knew that this Arima guy has fall in love with Mera.

"Do you think I can date her?"

Seiji then look Arima deep in the eye and said

"Yeah Obviously you CAN'T!" is what Seiji think he could said but in the end..

"Yeah you probably could but don't get your hope too high." While putting a fake smile Seiji said those word.

"Really, Thanks Seiji-san for hearing my request."

"Yeah." Said Seiji still putting a fake smile.

"We already arrive Seiji-san let's get moving."

Both of them get off from the bus and take their belongings.

After Seiji and Arima take their belongings they met with Sonohara and Mera who already done with their stuffs. Seiji still having a hard time thinking about Arima confessions got burden and now he have to face with Mera.

"Seiji could you come with me for awhile?"

"Ah, Y-yeah."

Both of them leave their other group member and take off to the back of the inn. After confirming no one follow them Mera put her hand on Seiji shoulder and whisper.

"You didn't forget the reason we here right."

Seiji who turn red because his face and Mera face is closing on. He then mutter his word.

"O-of course I-I remember."

"Good. I don't know why but you look strange back there."

"Like you holding your feeling."

"Eh?" Said Seiji startled by Mera words.

"If you don't care you can always talk with me."

"Because we are friends after all."

"F-friends?"

"Yeup!" Said Mera showing off her smirk face.

"I see we are friends huh."

"Somehow I don't want that." Murmur Seiji under his breath

"Eh, did you just said something?"

"Nothing at all, Now lets go everyone is waiting."

"Right!" replied Mera joyed.

__The night side__

"Hey, Seiji-san what did you talk with Mera-san this afternoon huh?" Ask Arima curious.

"Nothing at all just the place we're going to go on free time tomorrow."

"Is that so, but I think if you guys just want to talk about that you guys could talk with us also."

"Somehow I felt sorry."

"A-ah, you don't have to."

"I just said if you want to you can always talk with us we are you friends aren't we."

"Friends?" Said Seiji startled by the words that he have hear twice this day.

"W-we are not?!"

"Y-yeah we are obviously."

"Really, then that's a relief."

"I'm sorry it just I didn't really have a lot of friends."

"My friend is only…" Seiji word stuck at that.

"Seiji-san?"

"Ah, have you get in the hot spring?" Said Seiji changing the topic.

"Not yet."

"Is that so… then want to get in together."

"Yeah with pleasure."

On the girl side

"Yuki-chan!"

Mera shout Sonohara name and hugged her from the back.

"M-mera?"

"As always both of you are so close."

Said the girl wearing pajama. She is the the other member of Seiji group called Tsubaki Minami.

"Tsubaki-chan."

"Just call me Minami."

"Then Minami-chan it is." Said Mera with joy on her voice.

"Yeup, Mera-chan."

"Then me too." Said Sonohara shy.

"Hey, Mera can I ask you one question?"

"Yeah, go ahead." Said Mera while sipping the milk she just bought from the vending machine.

"How far have you gone with Hatake-kun?" Ask Tsubaki having a smirk on her face. Oh by the way she is one of the girl who like to gossip about other person.

Same as Seiji Mera also spit her drink when ask that kind of question.

"W-what kind of question is that Minami-chan?"

"Well I've been wondering all this time and there is many rumours about you two you know."

"R-rumours? What kind of?" ask Mera wiping her mouth with a tissue.

"Well a rumours about both of you were seen goes home together or you goes to Hatake-kun house and this morning both of you came at the school together."

"So how far have you gone?"

"M-my relationship with Seiji is now like that you know."

"Hoho you are using his first name that is interesting."

"Y-you are misunderstanding something here."

"That's right I'm using Seiji first name but our relationship isn't like what you think."

"So what kind of relationship do you have with Hatake-kun?"

"We-we're only…"

"Only…"

"Aaah, WE'RE ONLY FRIENDS NOT MORE THAN THAT OKAY!"

Shout Mera furious. Tsubaki hearing Mera confession felt terrified a little.

"Ah, is that so."

"B-by the way I've kind of a bit… um no a lot about pushing you into telling us your relationship with Hatake-kun… S-so I'm sorry."

Mera snap from being furious and start to build her composure back.

"Well I'm sorry too for shouting like that… I just don't wat others to misunderstand my relationship Seiji."

Sonohara who have been quiet all the time just smile looking at this two. After the three of them somehow got more closer and they talk about themselves till late night.

__The next day__

"Yosh! Let's go and explore Kyoto!" shout Mera being energetic early in the morning.

"You always energetic early in the morning aren't you?" Said Seiji while hitting Mera head with his head.

"O-ow! What was that for?"

"You are troubling other people if you just shout out loud like that you know."

"S-sorry." Said Mera apologizing.

Seiji hearing Mera apologize like that have a thought that she looked cute.

"Ara-ara This two already getting along early in the morning aren't they?"

"Minami-chan?"

"Tsubaki-san?"

Said both of them.

"As I said last night we're are just a friend you know not more than that." Explain Mera to Tsubaki fluster.

"Yeah I know I know, you guys are just friend."

"Really, then its good."

"What are you guys talking about?" Ask Seiji feeling left out

"N-nothing at all! Now lets go and meet with others."

Said Mera then walk away from the place. Seiji who feel confused look at Tsubaki. She only gave a smile and lift her shoulder showing "I don't know what she mean" sign.

Then both of them walk to assemble with other group member. When they arrive they see Sonohara and Arima standing in front of a dumpling store.

"Why both of you here?" Ask Seiji curious.

"Well we both met on the way out so we decide to wait you guys while eating dumplings."

"I-is that so." Said Seiji relief

"We-well then what are we waiting for let go and have fun."

Said Seiji. With that all of them goes out to the place they like to visit. They went to a temple near Kyoto, The Nijo castle and other popular place.

"Oh my look at the time." Said Mera while looking at her watch.

"With this only time we can't go to everyone place together."

"So here I'm giving a proposal about how we can go and enjoy it without having to worried about the time."

"It start huh?"

"Her plan on getting me and Sonohara to get together." Think Seiji inside his head.

"How about we divide ourselves into two team one goes to the other side while other goes the other."

"So that's how it goes huh?"

"That's why she've been going out and sometime said we are lost just to make the time became short."

"So that's it my team Minami-chan and Arima-kun will goes the way to the river while Seiji and Yuki-chan will go to the other temple."

"Well then, We will meet back here on 4 p.m. alright."

"Y-yeah." Said Seiji flustered.

(Finally I'm alone with Sonohara all thanks to Mera but staying with only two of us making me doesn't know what to say) think Seiji.

"W-well for now let just go the temple."

"Um yeah." Replied Sonohara.

Both of them then arrive at the temple. Then the two of them prayed. After having their prayer they move to get their forecast.

"Uwwah, Bad luck huh." Said Seiji reading his forecast.

"What did you get." Ask Sonohara-san

"Eh. I-I just get a bad luck. How about you Sonohara-san."

"Oh, I got a small luck. It said that my love will be answered."

"Heeh, Wait Sonohara-san you have someone you like." Ask Seiji surprised.

"E-eh, W-well yeah I have one."

"I-I see. Well its not weird for you to have someone you like." Said Seiji feeling lost.

Seiji then look back at his forecast paper and read what it was wrote there.

"You will lose the one you love the most without you realizing it huh?"

(I don't know why but I feel like it really going to happen to me) Think Seiji

"Well it only a forecast I shouldn't really think about it."

"By the way Sonohara-san." Speak Seiji trying to change the topic.

"Y-yeah?"

"Do you remember that we played together when we were kids."

"Oh, Yeah of course I remember. You are the first person to talk to me after all."

"Inside of a class that full with cheer kids. You decide to talk with a gloomy nerd kid like me."

"Well I talk to you because I'm a nerd too."

"Well if that so I still happy about you talk to me."

"Did you know after you talk to me I decide to change."

"R-really?" Said Seiji surprised

"Yeup and with that I've came and face my problem and look at me now a new person not a gloomy nerd anymore."

"I'm happy for you."

"By the way Sonohara-san I want to ask you something."

"What is it?"

"Why you always let Mera do what she want to. Like she always goes and hug you from the back don't you feel uncomfortable."

"Not really, Actually I like it when she does that." Said Sonohara. She let out a little giggle after that.

"May I ask why?" Ask Seiji curious.

"Um do you remember my little sister."

"Little sister? Aren't you an only child."

"Yeah that's right but I've a little sister or actually she is my cousin but I've consider her as my own little sister."

(Now that she mention it I do remember that before she always bring a quiet girl who always hiding behind her. That is her sister I guess." Think Seiji

"The same goes with Mera somehow she look like my little sister."

"The way she act and the way she speak it look like they're the same person."

"What happen with your little sister now. Is she fine?"

A look of sad can be seen on Sonohara face.

"She is in the hospital now."

"Eh?" Seiji was shocked by Sonohara word.

"She have an unknown ill that maybe going to be harm toward her life."

"I-I'm sorry."

"Its okay. You don't have to cause you didn't do any wrong."

"But if can I want to go back to past and save her from the ill."

"Go back to past?"

"Y-yeah with that maybe I won't have any regret."

(Go back to past huh. The same thing Mera is doing about my situation now. I guess she too doesn't want any regret.) Think Seiji again.

"Thank you Hatake-kun for hearing me."

"Actually me too thanks for letting me hear it."

"Well then lets go back it almost our met time with others." Said Sonohara looking at her watch.

"Yeah lets go."

Then both of them walk down the stairs and goes back to their meeting place. Arriving there they see Tsubaki and Arima sitting on a bench.

"Hey, you two sorry if we late." Said Seiji while moving his eye looking for something or more right someone.

"Where is Mera?"

"Um, About that…" Arima then explain all the thing that happened.

__Before after the two team got divide__

"Well then we will meet here back on 4p.m. don't be late."

Said Mera.

Mera team then goes to the river.

"Hey, Violet-san do you like to eat something."

"Um, No why?"

"Nothing I just felt like eating something that's it"

With that Arima goes and ask another question to Mera. After a question came another question till it make Mera felt irritated. She then think of an idea how to run from this situation.

She then got an idea after seeing a Takoyaki stand on the other side of the river.

"Hey, Arima-kun do you see that Takoyaki stand over there?" Said Mera while pointing her finger toward the stand.

"Yeah, I see it why?"

"Could you go and dive into the river or in a better word just died already." Is what Mera thought.

"Could you go and buy me Takoyaki I feel like eating it."

"If you want to eat Takoyaki then the stand behind us is fine isn't it."

Mera start to feel more irritated but hold herself.

"But I want the one over there could you get it?" Ask Mera this time she make a puppy face asking for food. As someone who is in love obviously he can't resist it.

"Of course I could get. Just leave it to me."

"Really, Thanks."(Yes I did it I chase away an annoying guy)

With that Arima goes to the other side and buy the Takoyaki but the moment he back he didn't saw Mera at all.

__Present__

"So you want to say she lost?"(Actually she just ran away from you aren't she)

"Yeah, right now she must be afraid while not knowing what is going to happen to her." Said Arima overthinking.

"I'm sorry I didn't pay attention at her cause I was busy taking picture." Said Tsubaki apologizing

Seiji then look at the sky. It looks like its going to rain.

"Well if we only just stand here not doing anything is not good."

"So we will go out and search for her."

"Tsubaki-san you goes and look at the inn maybe she goes back there after seeing that its going to rain any sooner."

"Arima you go back the place we have been through maybe she have gone there."

"Sonohara-san you stayed here the possibility of her coming is very high too."

"Everyone hear." Ask Seiji after giving them order's

"Yeah" All of them replied.

"If one of you guys found her goes straight and tell the other about it."

"Now hurry we need to find her fast."

"YES SIR!" all of them replied.

With that all of them goes and search for Mera. On the other side Mera is…

*huff* *huff*

"Finally I get to run away from that annoying guy."

"Well then, Where is here?"

"Its have a lot of tree. I think I'm in a forest."

"How far did I run by the way."

*sighed*

"Haaa, at this kind of time I wonder what does the other two is doing."

"I hope there will be a progress between the two of them. When we met again I will just ask Seiji about it."

Then something rustle from behind the bush. Mera who got startled by it slowly approaching it. She then turn the bush back and she found…

"A RABBIT!"

"SO CUTE!" shout Mera

The rabbit ran away because it was startled by Mera voice.

"Ah, Usagi-chan don't run away I'm sorry I startled you."

Then a drop of rain water hit Mera head. Considering of her situation Mera gave up on the rabbit and run towards a cave.

"Ah, Damn it my clothes is wet now."

"What should I do in this kind of situation now."

"HOW UNLUCKY AM I!" shout Mera releasing her unsatisfied toward the rain.

"If I know its going to be like this I will better stick with Seiji."

Realizing her own word Mera hide her face with her hand.

"Ah, that's right Seiji I can call him and said I'm in some kind of cave."

Mera let her phone out from inside her pocket but unfortunately her phone didn't catch any signal at all.

"What's wrong with my phone urgh!"

She then gave up using her phone.

"Really how unfortunate am I."

When Mera was hugging herself she imagine Seiji standing in front of her.

"Even at this kind of situation the only face I could remember is only huh." Said Mera

"Seiji I'm afraid."

"What kind of delusional world did you enter this time." From outside the cave hear a guy voice.

"Eh?"

Mera after hearing the guy voice open her eyes wide. Her eye start to let out tear.

"S-Seiji?" Ask Mera didn't believe her eye's

"Yeah its me." Replied Seiji

"B-but how…"

"How did I found you?"

Mera then nod her head.

"Huh, its actually easy after hearing Arima story I start to search you near the river then I saw the forest."

"I could only make an assumption that you have enter it to run from Arima."

"How I found you here it was because I found this." Seiji the let out a book that were mark on every place and a hairpin.

"With this I'm confident 100% that you are here and now here I am holding an umbrella looking at a sad girl waiting for her prince to take her home."

Mera hearing Seiji Words let out cry that she been holding. Seiji came close and give her his jacket. He also put the hairpin on her hair back.

"With this you have became the usual Mera."

"My Mera." Said Seiji giving off a smile.

Seiji then hug Mera tightly.He then whispered on Mera ear.

"This time let me be the one who pat your head and said its going to be okay."

Mera hearing that hug Seiji more tight. After the rain had calmed down both of them came out of the cave. Seiji let his other friends knew about their situation after they get a phone signal. The both of them goes back to the inn separately.

Seiji and Mera take a bus back to the inn. Inside the bus Seiji look at Mera face who is sound sleepy. Then Mera head land on Seiji lap. Seiji who got surprised by it just let her be.

"Seiji." Mera speak out Seiji name.

"I'm here don't worry." Replied Seiji

With that both of them goes back to the inn safely.
