10 Back in my arms

As soon as Il Hwa opened her eyes, she noticed she was in an unfamiliar place. No one was there and it was just a plain white. As far as she remembered, right after she and Jaeho reached home, she told him she wanted to rest in her room. But once she opened her eyes, Jaeho was nowhere to be seen and it wasn't even her room.

"Jaeho-ah!" called Il Hwa, but no one answers. She started to feel scared as she was alone. Suddenly, and unfamiliar voice called her.

"Choi Il Hwa."

As soon as Il Hwa turned her back, she saw and old lady dressed up in white standing with poise.

"W-who are you?" asked Il Hwa.

"I believe you can't remember me because I erased your memory." Said the old lady. "I'm a deity." Said the Deity. "As soon as you ascended, you told me you can't leave your lover behind and you wanted a revenge." Said the Deity. "With that, I allow you to descend to seek revenge, but with two conditions." Said the Deity while Il Hwa was listening to her. "One, I will erase your memory. And two, I'll give you time, and the time almost ends now." Added the deity.

"W-wait, time? Almost ends?" asked Il Hwa. "You have two more months left." The Deity answered. "But I see that you have remembered half of your memories, I'll let you have all of your memories back so that can you seek for your revenge with him. Till then," said the Deity as she paused for a while.

"Till then?" asked Il Hwa.

"Once you both are done with it, you will ascend." Said the Deity.

"I-I have to leave him? I-I can't stay with him?" asked Il Hwa and the Deity shook her head.

"Well, that's all. Once you're awake, you will remember who you are and all of your memories are back. Good luck, my dear." Said the old lady and she disappeared.

Once the old lady disappeared, Il Hwa woke up and found that she's back in her room. As soon as she opened her eyes, she couldn't stop crying. She finally got all of her memories back. She remembered her days with her family and also Jaeho.

"Jaeho" called Il Hwa. She straight away got up from her bed calling for his name.

"Jaeho-ah!" called Il Hwa as she was running down the stairs. "Jaeho-ah!" called Il Hwa as tears streaming down her face. She noticed that Jaeho was nowhere to be found. "Jaeho-ah~" called Il hwa again.

Meanwhile, Jaeho who just got returned from throwing the rubbish at outside heard Il Hwa was calling his name. He got worried, and ran inside. As soon as he opened the front door, he saw Il Hwa was standing on the stairs with tears streaming down her face.

"Il Hwa-ah, what's wrong?" asked Jaeho as he went near her and wiped her tears away.

"Are you hurt anywhere?" asked Jaeho. Her eyes were red from crying. "I was throwing the rubbish and I heard you called for me-" but before Jaeho could finish his lines, Il Hwa pushed herself towards him and hug him tightly. Tears are still pouring down her face.

"What's wrong-"

"Jaeho-ah, I miss you and I'm so sorry…" cried Il Hwa in his embrace.

"W-what do you mean you missed me-" said Jaeho when suddenly, he noticed that Il Hwa was not in her usual self. This is the Il Hwa that he knows. His lover.

"ll Hwa, y-you remember…" said Jaeho as he broke the hug for a while to ask her and she nodded.

"Yes, Jaeho… I remember everything…. I'm really sorry…" cried Il Hwa.

"Oh my god, Il Hwa-ah~" said Jaeho and hug her tightly. "I miss you so much my angel… I miss you so much…" said Jaeho as he caressed her hair gently and without he realized, he dropped his tears too. Both of them were hugging for a few more minutes to replace their longing towards each other.

A few hours later, both of them are sitting next to each other on a sofa in the living room. Il Hwa was resting her head on Jaeho's shoulder and their hands intertwined with each other. "I'm sorry…" said Il Hwa. Jaeho noticed that ever since just now, Il Hwa keep on saying sorry towards him.

"You didn't do anything wrong… so why did you keep on saying you're sorry, huh?" asked Jaeho as he tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears.

"I'm sorry I left you alone and I couldn't even remember you when you moved in here…" answered Il Hwa with her lower voice.

"That's alright… I can't remember you either… but recently, after I was admitted to the hospital, I dreamed about you… that's when I remember about you… I wanted to tell you about us, but I'm scared if I would confuse and hurt, I decided to keep quiet." Said Jaeho. "But today, you came towards me and you called for me… that's when I realized that you too, has remember about us." Added Jaeho with a smile.

"Thank you for not forgetting about us…" said Il Hwa. "I won't." answered Jaeho. "I'm actually looking for the person who did that to you on that day…" said Jaeho. "Nam Byunghun, right?" asked Il Hwa and Jaeho nodded.

"Yeah, it seems what he was doing on that day wasn't just and accident. Intentionally, he wants me to die, but something happened and you're the one who got hit-" while Jaeho was talking, he couldn't finish his line, thinking about the terrible thing that had happened on that day.

Il Hwa who noticed it, brought his face near her and give him a light kiss on his lips. "That's okay, from now on, let's just think about happy moments and find the reason why that person did this towards us. Alright?" said Il Hwa softly and Jaeho nodded.

"Alright." Answered Jaeho as he brought her near him and kissed her forehead.

*I may not have much time, but I'll make sure that before I leave, you will only remember our happy moments.* thought Il Hwa.

A few days later, as usual Il Hwa would follow Jaeho to the university. But this time, Jaeho feels like he's going back to the day he and Il Hwa would go to the class together. Both of them would be meeting each other in front of the university gate and Jaeho would send Il Hwa to the Faculty of Arts.

While they were walking with their hands intertwined with each other, Jaeho remembered on the day they met Nam Byunghun.

"I just remembered that day, Nam Byunghun told us there's a few of your belongings… I wonder did Hyukjin and Saeron has took it from him or now." Said Jaeho. "By the way, you never told me about Nam Byunghun before… I never know he was your close friend. So… mind sharing some story about him? Perhaps we could find some clues… you got me really worried on that day because you were crying and keep on pleading me to go home…" said Jaeho.

"What happened between you and him?" asked Jaeho in curious. But at the mentioned of Nam Byunghun, Il Hwa was silent and Jaeho noticed that she would look down to the ground. "Il Hwa?" called Jaeho but no answer. She was still looking down.

"Angel, what's wrong?" asked Jaeho he gently brought her near him making her startled by his sudden action.

"Oh-uh… nothing~" said Il Hwa.

"It's just… I have… some history between him… that's all~" answered Il Hwa as she gave him her dry smiles.

"History?" asked Jaeho and Il Hwa nodded. "Good or bad?" asked Jaeho as he raised his eyebrows.

"Both, I guess?" said Il Hwa. While they were talking, both Hyukjin and Saeron had called for Jaeho.

"You should tell me everything later, okay?" said Jaeho and Il Hwa nodded.

"I will." Said Il Hwa.
