3 Who?

A sudden urge to start walking into the city of Zima came over me. You're probably wondering where that is? I would tell you, but then you would try to find me.

Just only one problem on that trip to town : The owner of the church/ orphanage, does not just let you out of the orphanage for anything you want to do. You have to tell her what your business is in town. For instance my reason is I want to see if I can find any information about my parents. Honestly do I not have a right to keep that to myself? It's kind of personal, and they would tell me to just give up on finding them anyway. I get why she does that, it's because she doesn'twant to get my hopes up.

She monitors our literal every move, is it just to make sure there is less runaway orphans? Yes, I did say LESS runaways, not NO runaways. There is this rumor going around the orphanage, that this guy named Luke Conner escaped. Now of course I am kind of a loner, so I don't really socialize with others here, but I never said I didn't listen to other people talking. How could've he escaped? Well, let me tell you, they're surely is a lot of different conspiracies about it. w

What I believe he escaped by doing this plan: Stsrting off he snuck out the window, he is on the 1st floor after all. Next, to avoid making footprints in the garden, he escaped when it was raining, (at least that's what I heard).  Support: he jumped because he had the height to land it with no chance of injuries onto the concrete. Last but definitely not least, Luke ran across the garden, but then once he got to the gate, he climbed up; therefore, getting out of the orphanage. I suspect then he just made a run for it to avoid being caught, but I hope he comes back to help me escape.

Sleepy I turn to pear out at the window. A flash of a figure scurries across the glass. I jump and notice someone tapping on the glass of the window. I glance over, and  I take an educated guess: most likely a gardener. My face lay cold... this guy is not the gardener. Swarms of emotions flood. How stuipid of him, to come back. My heart drops it's Luke... he's outside in the pouring rain.

Puzzled I slid the window up.(Why is he knocking on my window?, I mean we only talked all the time, but I thought he forgot me.) As soon as I open the window he starts to climb through the window. Slowly crawling out, his hoodie's covered in rain, and assumes he can come in to chat.

"Hey, Woodie, long time no see!", Luke scruffs. "Why do you call me Woodie, my last name is Woodland" I chuckled amused by the insult. We had made a plan to escape together when we were little, but he already escaped without me. "What in the whole wide world are you doing here!". I chuckle, and throw a friendly shove. Fear rushes over me as I remember about my roommate could come in here at any second.

With in seconds Luke moves a little closer to me, oddly his ocean like eyes stare into mine.  Confused on what was happening I stood there watching him. Staring at him I realized Luke isn't the same boy who was at the orphanage. He's different... mentally, and physically. Pulling his hand up to my lip... then  bites his lip and whispers "God you're beautiful." He brings his head closer to mine. I bring my arm closer to myself, then jam it into his gut. "Eek!" He sighs in pain. Luke gives an expression I like to call a cheeky devil smirk. He brings on a joking tone "Is that how you greet a friend you haven't seen in years?" He sighs, I suddenly have emotions pouring out "Do you know what I've been through when you were gone. I was by myself, no one to talk to. People saw me as a freak!" I raise my voice a little more, "How dare you! Do you know how scared, worried I was about you! Like where was my only friend, not where I need him the most, he abandoned me! You abandoned me Luke..." Tears started rolling down my cheeks as I shivered in past emotions I didn't deal with. Saddened Luke puts his warm arms around my cold pitiful self. Resting my head in his chest, his head moved closer to my ear and he whispers "I'm sorry, I didn't know how much I have hurt you. I just want you to know all those times you've been thinking constantly about me, I just want you to know that I was safe, and I was also thinking of you every day you weren't there." He smiles and moves his arm to my chin. He raises my head up and whips away tears from my red puffy eyes.

Omg! I raised my voice, the whole orphanage could've heard. What to do ugh don't panic. I frantically whisper over at Luke hearing foot steps down the hallway" You need to hide! Sister Kendall is coming. Quickly hide under my bed!" Panickly Luke jumps "Which bed is it?", "My bed's the teal one, with room for you to crawl under."

Rushing to the corner of the room, a giant rectangle shaped book shelf is in the corner. Frantically I grab the first book I see. Realizing I might be to late, I take a sprint and jump in the air. Spinning in mid air I thud into the softness of my bed. Quickly scurrying to open the book to a random page, I start reading the book out loud "May was an odd child, but those who made fun of her where stuipid. Stuipid May cant even do anything right! The kids would say to her. Reluctant to there..."

Turning... the knob slowly turns as an old crooked looking nun walks in. "Oh what a suprise Sister Lillian." I smile instantly trying to look guilty free. The old nun moves her saggy mouth " Hello dear, what on Earth are you doing!" She quuestions. "I'm just reading. I like to read out loud to come up with voices for the charecter.",Lillian chuckles "Oh that's what that was! I thought you were talking to someone."

Slowly walking toward the east side of the room toward the bay window decorated in gorgeous antique pillows. Sister Lillian sits down, and pats the seat next to her. Indicating for me to sit down next to her. Quickly in order to get her to leave as fast as possible I sit down. "My dear what's bothering you?" Lillian questions in an oddly comforting voice. Panicing I answer "No-nothing's wrong, I'm doing good.  Everything's peachy. Not one bad thing." Giving a puzzled look she sighs.

" BANG...THUDDDD!" The noise bounces from underneath the bed. "Haylee, what was that?" She gives of an odd look. " Possibly the pipes? Or could it be the storm?" I respond. "Crreeek!" The noise continues. Surrounded by the fear of Sister Lillian finding out, she turns to me. "It seems to becoming from under the bed!" She says frightened. Sprinting to the bed she gets down quickly to her knees. Slowly she slides down side ways on the floor.

Staring for a while she gets up "Haylee, my eyes must be fooling me because I see literally nothing except pillows and blankets.", "I could've sworn I heard something. Any way your roommate isn't going to be here tonight she's sleeping in her friends room tonight. Good night I will see you." The nun said rubbing herforehead in a disterbed manner.

Tip toeing to the door she exits.

"Sssswish, Russsstlee, swoosh!" The noise creeps from underneath the bed. Slowly sliding out; messy blonde hair scattering in different directions pop out into sight.

Pulling himself out from underneath sweat covered all along his clothes. "Ugh! It's hot in there, I think I'm going to pass out." Luke sighs. Turning over onto his back his face burned red. "Let's get you changed... and washed up." I stutter, turning his head at me "Kay where's the shower?" Luke pants.

Getting up shaking, and almost like he's going to faint, he follows me. Walking toward a raectangular door near the bay window, I reach out and open the door. "You got it from here?" I question, "Ya, but what will I change into?" Panicing on the little things his voice shakes. "I have a hoodie and sweat pants that might fit you, they stretch and they're pretty long hince my height." I reassure him. "Fine then!" He blushes and quickly runs into the bathroom.

Waiting awhile, he still hasn't come out... it's been 3 hours, and the faucet is still running. Should I knock could he still be showering... what if something bad happened to him. "Oh no. It's all my fault." I mumble.

Rushing over to the bathroom door I knock. Suddenly minutes have past and he has not answered. I think he passed out in there. I twist the golden knob and burst through the dark oak door.

Peering around the bathroom he lays in the white decorated with dark blue patterned bath tub. Scared out of my mind I rush over to him, and pull my hand out to his neck to find his pulse. "Bump...Bump...bump.", "Few he's alive." I sigh.

"Sssshhhwoooosh!!!!" The showers still on. Oh my gosh I forgot. Quickly I rushed to the other side of the bath tub. Reaching my hand to turn of the water. Finally succeeding in turning it off, I realize Luke needs to be dryed of and have some clothes put on.

He's a guy, I can't do that, I can't even look at him right now. Sacrifices are made for the good of others.

Literally pulling him out of the bath tub on to a lime green colored towel. Grabing anouther towel, also covering my eyes whipping him off.

Laying on the ground Luke still was passed out. Laying right next to me was the sweats that were to big lay. Holding the sweat pants I cover up my eyes and try my best to put them on him. Opening my eyes to see if the pants were on, I grab the sweatshirt and position him to sit up . Holding onto his abs I slid the shirt down his torso.

Finally that experience is over, but how am I going to get him out of the bathroom. I stand up and reach down for his arm and pull Luke's shoulder over mine. I pull him out through the door and lay him onto the floor.

Putting pillows and blankets for him to rest on I slide him onto it. A few hours pass and I started getting sleepy; after that the lights went out I drifted off asleep.

Feeling an arm wrap around me, I sat there cuddled avoiding the cold. I open my eyes. I turn around and Luke's about 2inches away from my face. "What happened I don't really remember much." He whispers, "Nothing, you finished your shower, got dressed, then went to sleep." I lie to him. His face fades from it's excited look. "Why are you on the floor then too?", "uh... sleep walk," I say with a straight face.

I get up of the dusty wooden floor and blankets. Pearing over him he reaches his hand out. Maybe he needs help getting up? I reach my hand out to grab his warm comforting hands. Suddenly he jerked his arm and I land on top of him on the floor. Pulling his hand on my face, he brings me closer. Whispering into my ear "Is this what you really did last night?" He grabbed me closer and said " You're not punching me in the gut? Looks like someone fell for this little handsome angel." He chuckles then pulled his lips closer to mine, then kissed my lips.

Pulling away he blushed. "Told you so! Gorgeous, gosh you were pretty then, but know I can't even hold it." "You said before you're a handsom angel, but you're more like a Devil!" I cough back at him. Luke rolls me to the bottom and says "I'm a devil now? Ok I can live with that." He smiles. Pulling away waves of blush effects us both.

Standing on the ground, Luke peers out the window  into the night sky. "I have to go, but..." he dazes off, "Don't go, don't leave me ok... when you left before I I thought you wouldn't come back, but now you did. You cant leave please." I cry out. On the verge of tears Luke's voice shakes " Then come with me! Escape  with me like you always wanted to!". "How would I do that? Even if I could, I can't leave without "you know who"." tears slide down. "Hailey tell you what I'll help you devise a plan.". He places his soft hand on my face and wipes all the tears away. "Ok" I whisper.
