13 chapter 12
I couldn't fall asleep last night, or well I refused to fall asleep last night, I couldn't let me myself fall victim to another Leo nightmare.
Another night of me crying and freaking out Zane. I didn't want to be more trouble to him than I was, I was lying flat on my back, Zane laid on top of me, his head on my boobs using them as pillows, my hands in his hair.
I knock on the door, "Nova?" Elidi asked. "Everyone's downstairs to get ready for tonight." I shook my head.
Zane was peacefully still asleep, his chest was moving with calm, rhythmic breathing. I didn't have the heart to wake him up, not after yesterday.
"I need a few more minutes," I said to her, she shook her head and closed the door.
"Zane?" I asked the most gentle and loving voice.
"You have to get up don't you." He asked, facing me. I shook my head, he crawled up and put his head in the crook of my neck.
"Don't go." He gave me small butterfly kisses and I giggled at him.
"I got to go, Z. Stop it." He sighed, and gave me a kiss on my nose and got off.
"I'll be down in a little bit, Nov." He said I got up. I was wearing a t-shirt and shorts. I walk down the stairs.
"I bought everyone, McDonald's," Adele said, I laugh. She placed a bunch of egg McMuffins and sausage McMuffins on the thing. I grabbed an egg and cheese on and sat down on the stool.
"Eli, Nova, are you ready for tonight?" Rose asked.
"I mean, you guys are kinda the whole first part of the plan," Kai said, taking a huge bite of her biscuit. I felt strong arms around my waist, and I fell back into Zane's chest.
"You want a bite?" I asked him.
"You haven't eaten in like a day, you need it." He said sitting in the chair next to me grabbing himself one.
"I just booked the Casoni at Golden Nugget, where Benny will be at Tonight at 8 pm." I look at the clock on my phone, it was 10, we had at least 8 hours.
"We have 10 hours?" Vanessa asked, whipped her crumbs off her hands unto her sweatpants.
"No, we only have 8." Elidi told them.
"Why?" Blossom asked.
"We need time to get everything set up for tonight's activities." I giggled, "Also, we have to scope out everything, of course. Be fully prepared for anything."
"Is everyone perfectly clear on the plan?" Elidi asking for the millionth.
"If, I didn't know any better I would say you didn't have any faith in us," Stella said.
"We do, Stells. We just want everything to go perfectly." I told Stella.
"What are we gonna do for 8 hours?" Adele questioned.
"I, for one, I'm gonna shower," Elidi said.
"Make-up?" Vanessa questioned.
"I don't have any, besides mascara and lipgloss." All the girls looked at me shocked. "What?" Personally, I never cared what others thought about my appearance, this is what I looked like, take it, or leave it.
"We have to do your full face for tonight!" Vanessa said, grabbing my hand. The rest of the girls followed us closely behind.
"Please, don't do my full face." I pleaded.
"Fine, we'll only do." Vanessa looked at me.
"Concealer for her eyebags," Stella said.
"Powder." Vanessa.
"Blush, Highlighter," Adele said.
"What color eyeshadow?" Blossom thought to herself.
"How is this not a full face?" I asked.
"Shush, the masters are at work," Blossom told me.
"I have a perfect idea," Rose said, grabbing the girls and dragging them outside and I heard them all float downstairs.

I put the "dusty rose" color lipstick on my full lips, they had let me keep my side nose piercing in, they just finished, there hours work of make-up on me
They had to put on light shades of powder on my face before they put "liquid'' concealer, on under my eyes, and in what they call a T-zone? They had put some sparkly powder in the corner of my eyes, on the tip of my nose, and on underneath my eye, then put on my eye makeup.
It was just kinda thick eyeliner and they said, I didn't need fake lashes, what the fuck that is, so they just put some mega mascara on my eyelashes, and like I said before dusty rose.
It was only 11, but they had to put on their makeup now,
I walked over to Dove's room who was playing with her new Barbie and toys.
"Sissy, Is that make-up?"
"Yes, it is."
"You look so pretty!" Dove said to me. "You're prettier than my Barbie." I laughed, she was always super sweet.
I kissed her hair, not leaving a kiss mark on her forehead.
"Nov, you look pretty, like always."
"Just wait till I put the dress on." Zane grabbed my arm and spun me around.
"Hm, you look just as good with sweatpants on."
"Zane Gordan, you are a flirt," I said, in a horrible British accent.
"A terrible one." Zane laughed, in an equally horrible accent, we both started to laugh at each other.
"Wanna check on Elidi with me?" Zane shook his head, and we walked over to her room and knocked.
"Eli?" She was in the middle of putting on mascara.
"You look pretty." I said Elidi had white "Highlighter' in the cover of her eyes, and dark brown glitter eyeshadow with red lipstick.
"She's right, Elidi. You do look very pretty." I smiled at Zane.
"Okay, don't kiss my ass just because you're kissing my sister." Elidi smiled at the two of us, we all laughed.
"It's only 11:30 like we have so much time."
"I know. It's gonna take them as a few hours to get all of that makeup done.'

I was straightening my hair or trying too, I felt Kai's cold hands on my shoulder sitting me down and grabbing the straightener.
"I never asked how you, any of you got into the line of work," I said.
"Well, my parents kicked me because of the whole me being gay thing, I moved here, I had money from the place I used to work, so I used it to get an apartment. I came here looking for a job, and Simon gave me some opinions and I met Blossom, we've been together ever since." Speaking of Blossom, She had done Kai's makeup. Kai had a smokey eye, light eyeliner, and mascara and purplish lipstick, she had her hair half and half down.
"My parents have been working for Simon since he got here, they were homeless and Simon helped them out," Blossom told us, Blossom had dark pink lips, white and gold eyeshadow, mascara, Blossom's hair was straightened but she was putting a little curl into it with a curling iron.
"My daddy is a wealthy businessman and my mom runs her beauty company but before, My dad knew Simon and that's how I got acquainted with everyone," Stella told us, applying more mascara to her eyes, she had light pink eyeshadow shaded with black and white? I don't know how to say, it was pretty, she had a thin line of eyeliner, and light pink glitter lipgloss, Stella put her hair into a lower ponytail.
"My dad sells drugs, and my mom is a stripper at a different club." Rose had a very little amount of purple eyeshadow on her eyes, she had a lot of mascara, and nude-colored lipstick.
"My mom dated Simon for a while, I met Zane and he introduced me to this world. My mom started selling weapons and drugs for Simon and it just happened." Vanessa shrugged, she had tan eyeshadow that you couldn't see, thick eyeliner, a thick coat of mascara, and nude-colored lip gloss.
"I live with my grandma, she has cancer, I needed a job, so I naturally became a stripper so my younger sister didn't have to worry about it, and then Simon said to me and well, the rest is history," Adele said Adele had no eyeshadow, a medium eyeliner, mascara, and dark red lipstick.
"Honestly, do any of you think we'd do this if it was up to us?" I shook my head, along with everyone else.
"Stella, so are your parents rich?"
"Ultra-rich. In a few months, we're actually hosting a gala type thing for breast cancer, my Granny died from it like 5 years ago and ever since we've been hosting it, and my parents asked me if my friends could go home."
"Can I wear this?" Kai asked.
"No. We've got to dress fancy, it's a black-tie event," Stella said.
"More shopping," Adele said.
"Yes, and this time fancy places with fancy dresses."
"When is it?
"November," Stella said,
Right now it was July so it was a few months away and Dove, Row, Eli, and I all have to get through our first days of public school in a few weeks, so it would be a while.
"Is everyone decent?" I heard Zane's voice from behind the door.
"Yes," I yell, and he walks in.
"I don't think I've ever seen you with straight hair," Zane said, looking at me.
"Yeah, well don't get used to it," I said, smiling.
"You guys are really cute," Rose said.
"Thank you," Zane told her, and I hit him.
"What time is it, Z?"
"1:30."
"Who wants to watch TV for a little awhile."
