11 chapter 10

We were all standing around talking about everything,

"So, what exactly do we know about them?" Kai walked up to the whiteboard that we brought.

"We know that the leader, James Lockland has a teenage son, Benny Lockland."

"We could use the son?" I said they all look at me.

"What?" Rose asked.

"Hold on, I know someone who could really help us out with this," I said getting my phone out and dialing Elidi's number.

I guess, she's just gonna have to come home earlier than we expected.

"Hello?" Elidi asked.

"It's Jupiter." I heard Elidi sigh.

"Hey, Jupiter. What do you need?"

"Can you come home early from your trip?" We both knew what we meant.

"Why, what's going on at home?"

"We just need you to come home, maybe tomorrow?"

"I'll try, Jupiter."

"Okay, Soph. Thanks."

"Love you, sis."

"I love you too, I'll see you in a few hours," I told her and then I hung up the phone.

I walked back in the room, "Elidi, is coming in a few hours to help us come up with a plan."

"We're gonna miss your sister?"

"Yes, she's pretty good at planning things. In New York, we made an agreement with the Italian Mob and when a new one came into town that didn't sign the agreement, we had to take care of them, Elidi and I came up with the plan with the help of a few kids from the Italians. So, I think Us and you guys will be able to come with a plan."

"When is she gonna get here?" Zane asked me.

"Maybe, Tonight," I said, it was 1 am in the morning now, and really it felt like I could sleep for another 6 hours.

"How about we all head over to my house, for TV and sleep, until Elidi gets here," Zane told us.

"Sounds good," Kai said.

"I need to go by my house for clothes," Rose said looking at Nash.

"I'll give you a ride, but I have to drop by mine too." we all went our own ways. Zane and I were in the car when I felt him grab my hand. I look up at him,

"What?" Zane asked.

"Nothing. Just wasn't expecting you to hold my hand." I shrugged, he let go of it.

"I don't have too since-" I grabbed it back.

"Shut up." I smiled. We drive up to our house,

"Are you excited about your sister coming?" Zane asked.

"Of course, I am. I missed her."

"I thought you didn't miss anyone?" Zane asked, a smirk on my face. We both jump out of the car, and start to walk up to our house, he unlocks the door.

"That was a lie," I said.

"Really? Cause, I couldn't have known." I rolled my eyes.

"I admit it, I miss my siblings."

"How many siblings do you have? I know about Elidi and Lucine but that's all I know."

"Oh, I have a few more." I laugh. "There's Mars."

"Mars?"

"Yeah, I know. My mom used to tell me, she liked names with meaning, and all of our names have a meaning."

"Do ever miss your mom?" Zane asked. We were in the basement sitting on our place on the couch. I sighed.

"Everyday," I told him.

"Yeah, I miss my mom too." That's when it finally hit me.

"How old were you when it happened?"

"I was 5, so I remember her but not a lot."

"I'm sorry, Z," I said, taking his hand in mine and playing with his fingers.

"It's okay. I just understand what it's like to lose someone important to you." I touched Zane's face with my left hand, there was a comfortable silence in the air.

"So, what are your other siblings' names?" Zane asked, and I let out a laugh.

"Well, you're gonna meet Elidi, and a few more of them, tomorrow. She's 9 months older than me and she never lets me forget it, Lucine is 14, Mars is 12, Lily is 10, Aspen is 8, Rowan is 7, and Dove is 6."

"Who else am I meeting tomorrow?" Zane asked.

"Rowan and Dove. They went with Elidi in Canada."

"Canada?" I shrugged my shoulders.

"Nov, Can I take you out on a date?" I was taken back by his words.

"I would love that but I still meant what I said before ab-"

"I know." His hand now on my face."I'm still waiting, I just thought-"

"I want to, so when are you taking me out?" I asked.

"When we get the others under control." I smiled and that's when I heard the basement door open.

"I'm gonna go put some sweatpants on, I'll be back," I said, bending down, and kissing his cheek, as I started to walk up the flights of stairs, to my room.

I completely forgot that Zane lost his mother, he understands what it's like to lose a parent, I took off my jeans and put on some grey sweatpants and I went downstairs.

Rose and Nash were coming closing the door, Rose's arm was on Nash's upper arm, while they held hands.

"You guys are cute, together."

"Awe, thanks!" Rose smiled, looking at Nash. "You and Zane are the cutest though."

"I and Zane aren't together," yet.

"Mhm, okay. Trying to keep a secret. C'mon, they've probably already started watching whatever movie they have on."

I nodded, in agreement and ran back down the stairs. Vanessa and Stella were already here but Kai and Blossom weren't?

"Where's Kai and Blossom?"

"They called and said they're gonna be late, Stella is picking out a movie, right now," Vanessa told me, I trot down the last few steps, and then I jump on the couch.

Stella picks, "The Notebook." Adele trots down the stairs and goes to her normal spot beside Nessa and myself.

"Everyone, shut up!" Stella told us, as she settled into the couch and turning up the TV.

I woke up to my phone ringing, "hello?"

"It's me," Eli.

"Hey, Soph? What's up?"

"We're at the airport, we should be there in about." She paused. "5 hours."

"You want us to meet you at the airport?"

"Um, yeah. I'll see you in a little bit."

"See ya."

Excitement. I could feel it at my fingertips.

"Was that Elidi?" Zane asked me,

"Yeah, She should be here in 5 hours, Can you drive me to the airport to meet them?"

"Of course." He smiled.

"I'm gonna shower, and get ready," I told him and got up.

"I'm gonna make breakfast for us." I nodd and stretched as I stood up.

"Why the fuck are two up so god damn early," Kai asked. "It's-" She looked at her phone. "Oh, Nevermind."

I looked at my phone, it was 11:30.

"Alright," I said,. "Good Mourning, everyone," I yelled at everyone, every one of them just flipped me off. I laughed, as I started to go to the shower.

I don't know why I felt so connected to these people. I haven't been here for what, maybe, a few days?

But they felt like my family, I turned on music before getting into the shower.

Eli was coming soon, and she would meet all of them along with Rowan and Dove.

Eli was my best friend and my sister, even if we didn't share the same dad, we still had the same mother and we were both in this life.

Eli was much less confident in herself than I was, she always doubted herself, and talked down about herself.

That's the only thing, I would say I didn't like about her because she was the prettier sister.

Elidi stood at 5'8, had short black hair that she kept straight most of the time, she has pretty mocha skin and a bright smile.

Elidi was the one who always went against our parent's rules, she was rebellious in the way I wasn't. Her and our Mom used to fight a lot, because of her rebellion. Elidi always says that if we can break the law by murdering, selling drugs and weapons, and doing everything else, then why can't she do what she wants?

Elidi and our Dad always got along much better, He was rougher on me than he ever was on Eli.

He always pushed, pushed me until I couldn't breathe anymore, he never did that with Eli. He was more gentle with Eli.

He always told me, if something ever happens to him and Mom, that Elidi couldn't handle being the boss, that I would have to be.

Our youngest brother, Rowan had ocean blue eyes, curly blonde hair, chubby cheeks, with tan skin.

He was sweet, but one of Rowan's favorite things to do was bite people. Yeah, we used it to our advantage most of the time.

Rowan was the youngest brother, so he didn't really train with the rest of us. He did his own thing, we couldn't teach him out to use a gun since he was only 7, we did all learn how to fight with our hands, of course.

Let's just say if you needed a license to kill, I'd have at least 6.

Let's just say being a bigger girl kinda works to my advantage because then they don't try as hard to kill me because they think I don't know how to defend myself.

Now my youngest sister, Dove, was just introduced to fighting when our parents were fighting.

Honestly, I've missed training with Eli, Luc, and Mars.

I finally got out of the shower, I was clean, and felt good. I wrap the towel around me and walk to my room.

I pick out my outfit, a white, off the shoulder, crop top, and a red skirt that went to my upper thigh.

I combed out my hair, put on my deodorant, put on some vanilla rose perfume, and top it off my J necklace.

"So, are we going to the airport, or just you in Zane?" Adele asked as she walked into my room. Vanessa, Rose, Kai, Stella, and Blossom following her in.

"I think, just me and Zane, but if you want to wait here to meet her."

"Are we gonna like Elidi?" Rose asked.

"Eli is funny and sometimes she's a little blunt but I think you'll like her."

"Will she help us with the Braves?" Kai asked.

"Oh, I know she'll do that. She loves coming with plans to take down other organizations?" I laughed putting on my white high heels. "Trust me, you guys. Eli is a little rough at first."

"So, were you?" Blossom said.

"Exactly, she's gonna love you guys."

"Girls, Chief Zane is done with your meals," Nash told us, we laughed. We all go downstairs into the kitchen.

Zane had blueberry waffles, scrambled eggs, and bacon.

"Okay, so you can cook a little?" I said, sitting down at the counter.

"Yes, everyone grabs a plate. We'll eat at the dining room table." He set out a bunch of plates. They were all white plates with small pictures in the middle.

I got one that has a bird and holding a flower, putting food on my plate and going to the table.

Zane sat at the end of the table, and I sat next to him,

Adele sat on the other side of me, Nash sat on the other side of Zane and Rose sat next to him, Vanessa sat on the other side of Adele, and Stella sat on the other side of Nessa, and Kai sat next to Vanessa while Blossom on the other side.

"I'd like to thank all of you for coming to my house, for this lovely meal made." Zane was imitating or trying to imitate the godfather. "By myself, you my truest friends."

"Zane, that is the worst Italian accent, I've ever heard," Vanessa said.

"Can you shut up, I'm in the middle of something." Nash started to eat and Zane hit his hand.

"What the fuck dude," I laughed at Nash, his face scrunched as he brought up the fork again and started eating.

"Just eat." Zane jokingly rolled his eyes, as we all started to eat.

We walk into the cold airport, I rub my arms with the palms of my hands, and then I rub my thighs slightly.

"So, how early are we?" Zane asked.

"Only 5," I said, shrugging my shoulders. I took off my sunglasses and put them on top of my head.

"So, what are you gonna do here for 5 minutes?"

"You need to be entertained for 5 minutes?"

"Yes, Of course," Zane said. I rolled my eyes at him. "What do you think you guys are gonna want to?" He asked.

"I don't know, we're gonna go to the house to meet everyone and to put their shit up, and go to work?"

"Don't you guys want to have so fun, I mean this Vegas?"

"And we're under 21?"

"I know, some fun things we could do."

"How about, after we destroy them. I promise we'll do something fun with you."

"Promise?" He asked, sticking out his pinkie. I wrapped my pinkie around his and kissed my hand.

"Did you just kiss your hand?"

"Yeah, that's what we pinkies promise to our siblings."

"Jupiter!" I heard in a small voice from behind me, there was Dove, Elidi had dyed her brown hair, light blonde and she cut her hair into a pixie cut and she had green contacts in, I bent down and let Dove run into my arms. I hug her tightly.

Almost afraid to let her go, like if I do, then she'll just disappear, but I let her go, and she stood a few inches taller than me while I duck down on my knees. I kicked her all over her face.

"How have you been, baby?" I ask her,

"I've been good!" She said with a beautiful smile, her 2 front teeth were missing.

"Oh my god! When did you lose your front teeth?"

"3 days ago! The tooth fairy gave me 10 whole dollars."

"That's so good! Where's your brother, Jane?" Jane was her identity for right now.

"He was right behind me?" She said.

"I'm right here, sissy!" Rowan yelled at the top of the escalator, Elidi right behind him, holding on to his shoulder. Eli had her cut her hair into a pixie cut, she put blonde and pink highlights in her hair, and she was wearing dark blue contacts, and she got her braces off in Canada.

Rowan had a buzz cut, no more blonde curls for him, he had the same deep blue eyes. Rowan ran into my arms too.

"Jane, I told you to stay with me." Elidi scaled Dove.

"I know, you did, Sophia. I just wanted to see Jupiter."

"It doesn't matter you should have listened to me." I caressed Dove's face with my hand as I hugged Rowan.

"Okay, bubbas," I said, kissing his forehead and standing up.

Elidi embracing in a long hug, "I missed you." She said.

I missed you too, she smelled of coconuts and Landry detergent She had studs in her eyes, and she was wearing dark blue sweatpants and a yellow crop top, and slides? Of course, she was.

"Well, Sophia, Luke, Jane. This is Zane, Zane Goran." He smiled and reached out his hand. Eli just shook her head but Dove and Rowan both shook his head.

"He's Simon's son."

"Simon has a son?" Elidi asked me.

"That's what I first thought of too."

"Zane, was it?" Elidi asked him.

"Yes, Zane Gordan." Elidi looked him up and down, she was suspicious of him.

"Here you two. I'll take these." I said grabbing Dove's and Rowan's suitcases.

We were walking to the car, "I didn't know Simon had a son."

"Neither did I," I told her.

"He's kinda-"

"Good-looking, Will back-off he's mine." I jokingly told her, we both laugh.

"You're moving off quickly from Leo. Don't you think?"

"He knows about Leo, and everything and I told him I needed time and he said, he'd wait for me."

"That's fucking cute," Elidi said, laughing.

I missed her.

"Sissy? Where are we going?"

"To our new house, love!" I said, smiling, Dove smiled back at me, Zane opened the trunk and I put their things in it, and got in the front seat,

"So, there is a group of people waiting to meet us at our new house?"

"Yes," Zane said, we were 2 minutes away from being there.

"What are they like?" Rowan asked.

"They're all really nice," I said, thinking about more things I could say. "You'll just have to meet them to get full."

"Effect," Zane said.

Elidi nodded, we pulled up to the house. I unbuckled and went to the back of the car, Zane helped me with the bags and picked Elidi's one, which was a lot bigger than expected.

"So, do you think she likes me?" Elidi was walking towards the front of the house with Dove holding her hand and Rowan was walking behind them.

"I don't know, she thinks you're hot."

"I mean, who doesn't."

"Ha, ha," I said, playfully rolling my eyes. We went behind him.

"Nova." She said in a quiet voice.

"Excuse me, Row," I told him, trying his best not to hit him with his own bag. "Whatcha need, Eli?"

"I don't want to barge into the house."

"That's how your sister did it." Eli looked at me, shocked.

"I'll tell you the story later," I said, opening the door to the house. No one was there, that's weird. I walk in and turn to the left, to see all of them in the living room. Which I haven't actually been in or used at all.

It had a gray recliner, a medium blue recliner, and a long couch that was grey with blue and white throw pillows, and it also had a dark blue circle Sofa, the walls were white and they seemed to glow underneath the sun.

Rose was on top of Nash's lap on the gray recliner, Blossom and Kai were on the other one, Stella was on the circle chair looking up at the white ceiling, as she spun herself with her high heel, Vanessa and Adele were both sitting on the long couch together.

"Hey, guys!" I said sitting down there in my suitcases. Elidi walked in fully and looked at everyone.

"I'll go put these in their rooms," Zane said, grabbing the suitcases I just put down, Rowan walked up to Rose, who had stood up.

"Hi, I'm Rowan Micheals, and I'm 6." Rose bent down and took Rowan's hand.

"Hi, Rowan. I'm Rosalie but all my friends call Rose."

"How old are you," Rowan said.

"I'm 16." She told him, Rowan smiled, and hugged her. Rowan was always a people person, if he didn't like someone, he bit them.

I felt Dove hug my leg hiding,

"Dove! C'mon." Rowan pressured his sister. Rose stood up, smoothing out her light blue shorts, and she got up and walked over to me.

"Is your name Dove?" Rose asked. I felt her head move slowly. "That's a very pretty name." Along with Rose's light blue shorts, she wore a yellow shirt with a pink flower on it and a smiley face in the middle.

"Thank you." Vanessa got up her spot, her brown hair was down in a low bun, she had a pink long button-up over her black crop top and light blue jeans.

"Hi, I'm Vanessa."

"Elidi Micheals."

"Nice to formally meet you, Elidi. Nova has told us a lot about you." Elidi smiled at them, and walked down the two steps towards everyone else, and sat down on the bed. Rose had Dove in her arms now.

Zane came down the stairs, "How's everything going?" I shrugged, Nash was now shaking hands with my sister, along with Rose.

"She seems to like everyone."

Elidi was in her room, which was across the hall from mine, "Hello." I knocked before coming into her room.

Her room was purple instead of the cool grey mine was, she had a window on the same side, and she already had framed pictures up on the window seal.

Her bed was in the middle of the room, the TV was on the wall facing mine, the closet was the closest thing to the bed, her suitcase was open.

"Can I help?"

"Can you tell me where the bathroom is? Because I can't find it." It's the door behind the stairs, she shook her head and walked down the wall. I went to the room next to it, to find Dove. Sitting on her twin size bed.

There were two beds in there, probably for her and Lily to share. One of the beds was closest to the Elidi's wall, and the other was on the total opposite wall, Dove sat in the middle looking around at the dark yellow walls, she smiled at me and made me sit down.

"I like my new room." She said, the night table was connected and it was very long, it had a pink fuzzy lamp on Dove's side, and a green fuzzy lamp on Lily's side.

"I like green," Dove said, noticing the lamps.

"You wanna switch beds?" Dove nodded, grabbing her suitcase and moving to the other side.

Both bed frames were dark brown and Dove's new bed had a gold comforter and Lily's new side had a pink and white striped comforter.

"So, do you like your new house?"

"Yes!! All of your friends seem really nice, sissy."

"You want me to help you put your clothes up?" I asked her.

"Can we fold them instead of hanging them?"

"Uh, sure?" I said. Dove and Lily's room had a dresser, they had a small closet that faced the hallway but I went to the dresser and put Dove's clothes to the ground.

"So, why are you going to the strip club?" Elidi asked us.

"Just wait and find out," I said. Dove and Rowan were in the backseat as Zane drove us.

We pulled up to the club, Elidi, Row, and Dove all started to walk into there. I shook my head and made a 'follow me' gesture with my head. I went around back to the door, and I opened it up.

The now-familiar room was empty for the first time, I've ever seen it, the hardwood floor was gleaming under the lights.

"Where's your dad?" I asked Zane. 

"In his office." Zane shrugged, we walked past the bar and the bar stools, until to the darkly light hallway, the bathroom, a closet, and then Simon's office.

Everyone was in there besides Adele, who was most likely just late again

"Tell me everything," Elidi said sitting down at the table. I stood telling Elidi everything we knew. The signed agreement by The Braves and by ours, that they weren't following the agreement anymore and they were selling drugs according to Mickey, who now is dead.

"Tell me everything on, what's his name?" Elidi asked.

"James Lockland," I told her.

"James Lockland, two favorite things." Vanessa started.

"Sorry, I'm late again," Adele said, sitting down.

"His Casinos and his son, Beeny Lockland. Benny is 16." Kai pinned a picture on the wall.

His hair was black, his eyes were a deep green, he wasn't bad looking for the enemy.

"We need to come up with a plan, a good plan."

A light bulb went off in my head,

"I think I've got a pretty good plan," I said, smirking.
