The Girl I Almost Dated.

Armed with the voice of an Angel, body of a star,

Face perfectly yellowish brown, hair black as tar,

Not the kind you find here, they come from wide and far,

And rightly not the type easily blinded by planes and cars,

Heaven still retains a denting scar,

Of the gap she left behind when for me she came flying here,

And no matter how many gorgeous ones may stand n speak, her voice is all I can hear,

"She's the perfect one for you Rick," the small voice in mind echoes loud and clear,

For long I've been allergic to love, but i guess she's my cure 'cause I die whenever she ain't near,.....

To me she isn't one in a million, she's the only one in a million,

Fitting every aspect of my life like a camouflaging chameleon,

Coloring every corner of my world with amazing crayons,

Daily giving me the motivation to have hope and stay on,

I know if she was here she'd gladly hug me,

If she was the one writing this she'd happily tag me,

Never once in my life would I complain of her even if she dared nag me,

I love gold n silver, so I'd have called her Sylvia,

I love money too, so I guess I'd have called her Milly or Milcah,

And since I love myself the most I'd be tempted to call her Patricia..

But she's a jewel of a kind, value so high, I'll leave you to name her,

Tell her she's got a reputation that would still not ashamed her,

That she still fits these descriptions, and it would have been a life time dream for me court her,

And that in my heart she still remains the Girl I Would Have Dated,

Only mistake I made was falling in love first with her lil sister,....
